NYPD Officer 33 Year Old Randolph Holder Shot and Killed Pursuing a Suspect in Harlem (Update: Suspect Arrested)

WE ASK THE QUESTION AGAIN, DO POLICE LIVES MATTER  … THE 4TH NYPD OFFICER KILLED IN THE LAST 11 MONTHS.

33 year old NYPD officer Randolph Holder was shot and killed while responding to an incident of a man with a gun in East Harlem, NY. Holder and his partner responded to a report of shots fired at East 102nd Street on the city’s Upper East Side where witnesses told the officers a man had fled on a foot path and where the suspect came across another man and stole his bicycle at gunpoint. Holder and his partner ran toward the danger, not away, but toward the danger. Shots were fired and sadly officer Holder was shot in the head and later died at Harlem Hospital. The suspect was shot in the leg and arrested. Police Commissioner Bill Bratton said during a somber press conference that Holder, who emigrated from Guyana, was a third-generation police officer, following in his father and grandfather’s footsteps in the line of duty.

Rest in Peace Officer Holder

A New York City police officer was shot and killed late Tuesday in the East Harlem section of the city after he responded to a report of shots fired and an armed robbery.

Police Commissioner Bill Bratton identified the murdered officer as Randolph Holder, 33, a five-year veteran of the force. Holder was an officer in the department’s Housing Bureau, which polices the city’s public housing developments.

“Tonight, he did what every other officer in the NYPD does,” Bratton said. “When the call comes, he ran toward danger. It was the last time he will respond to that call.”

Bratton said Holder and his partner responded to a report of shots fired at East 102nd Street on the city’s Upper East Side. Witnesses told the officers a man had fled on a foot path and the officers encountered another man who told them an assailant had stolen his bicycle at gunpoint. Bratton said the officers confronted the suspect and pursued him to the intersection of East 120th Street and the FDR Drive, where gunfire rang out. One witness told Fox 5 that she heard at least five shots.

Holder was shot in the forehead and rushed to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:22 p.m. Dozens of uniformed and plainclothes officers lined the hospital hallway while other officers held each other as they arrived.

Olive Garden Restaurant Apologizes to Kansas City Police Officer Asked to Leave Because He was Armed with a Gun

WHY DOES THIS CRAP CONTINUE TO HAPPEN TO POLICE AND MAYBE THE EMPLOYEES AT THESE ESTABLISHMENTS NEED TO BE SLAPPED UPSIDE THEIR HEADS …

Another day and another act of rude and nonsensical behavior from a restaurant establishment. This time it is The Olive Garden in near U.S. 40 and Noland Road in Kansas City. An employee told a Kansas City police officer, who was waiting on a bench to be seated and came to the restaurant in full uniform to celebrate his birthday with his family, that guns were not allowed and asked him to leave. Officer Holsworth asked the employee whether it was a joke, but when he asked whether the employee was serious, he said she replied, “Yes.” UNREAL.

Olive Garden_police

Needless to say The Olive Garden brass is in full CYA apology mode as this negative story made its way through social media. Olive Garden’s president called the officer and apologized. I would like to know just one thing, how f*cking ignorant must anyone be, yes this is pointed directly to the girl who asked this police officer to leave, to think that a police officer, an individual tasked to protect and serve the community, can’t have a gun on him? Seriously, is this what we can expect from people today because they have been so brainwashed that guns and police are evil?

The irony of this story … The Olive Garden was located in Independence, MO.

The president of the Olive Garden restaurant chain called and apologized to a Kansas City police officer who was asked to leave an Independence restaurant because he was armed, a company spokesman said Sunday evening.

Dave George, the president of Olive Garden, personally apologized to Officer Michael Holsworth for his experience at the Olive Garden near U.S. 40 and Noland Road, said Rich Jeffers, a spokesman for Olive Garden. The employee clearly made a mistake.

“It’s unacceptable, that’s what it is,” Jeffers said. “Olive Garden welcomes members of law enforcement all the time in the restaurants. We love serving them. They serve our community. The least we can do is provide them a great meal.”

Holsworth posted to Facebook a message saying that he showed up at the restaurant to celebrate his birthday with his family. He was on duty at the time, so he was dressed in his full uniform.

While he was waiting on a bench, one of the employees asked him to leave, saying guns were not allowed in the restaurant. Holsworth said he thought it was a joke, but when he asked whether the employee was serious, he said she replied, “Yes.”

Maybe this girl needs police and gun sensitivity training. However, I would accept for her just to get a clue.

Randy Quaid & His Wife Evi Arrested at Vermont Border, Accused of Fleeing Canada Ahead of His Deportation Hearing

BIZARRE, JUST BIZARRE …

Randy Quaid and his wife Evi were arrested as “fugitives from justice” Friday night at the Vermont and Canada border in an apparent attempt to leave Canada before Quaid’s deportation back to the United States. The two were detained by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents at the Vermont point of entry in Highgate at about 8 p.m. Quaid and his wife were taken into custody by troopers, where a judge set bail at $500,000 each. Randy Quaid had previously been denied permanent residency in Canada.

Randy Quaid was being held at the North West State Correctional Center and Evi Quaid at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility. According to an interview with the AP, the 65-year-old actor said from a detention center in Laval, Quebec, on Wednesday that he would like to resolve his legal issues in California and “move on with my life.” Quaid and his wife fled to Canada because Quaid is wanted in Santa Barbara, California, to face felony vandalism charges filed in 2010 after he and his wife, Evi, were found squatting in a guesthouse of a home they previously owned.

Who knew Quaid’s role as Cousin Eddie from the Vacation films was spot on to his real life persona as a wing-nut?

Randy Quaid and his wife were arrested as “fugitives from justice” Friday night at the border between Vermont and Canada, apparently attempting to leave Canada days before Quaid’s deportation back to the United States, PEOPLE has confirmed.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents detained Quaid and his wife, Evi, at the Vermont point of entry in Highgate at about 8 p.m. local time, according to a press release from state police.

Agents determined the Quaids were “fugitives from justice” from California, where they are wanted in connection with a felony vandalism case.

Who finds it rather ironic that Border patrol is able to arrest these two on the US-Canadian Border but some how agents cannot seem to do the same on the United States-Mexico? Maybe Quaid and his wife should have crossed the Southern border instead.
