Actor Wesley Snipes Given 3 Years For Tax Evasion …. Prisoner 57

This time the rich, powerful and elite did not elude justice. Wesley Snipes will soon be learning in prison if “White Men Can Jump” as he was sentenced to a maximum of 3 years on tax evasion.

Snipes was the highest-profile criminal tax target in years, and prosecutors called for a heavy sentence to deter others from trying to obstruct the IRS. The government alleged Snipes made at least $13.8 million for the years in question and owed $2.7 million in back taxes.

Maybe this will be a sign of things to come that people of privilege and wealth cannot evade the law. Now its up to future juries to stop being star struck by people they perceive as important. It looks like Prisoner 57 will be headed off to prison, not a Hollywood set. Think the judge was not upset that Snipes had dodged the fraud charges against him?

Wesley Snipes called on famous friends to vouch for him, highlighted his clean criminal record and even wrote the government $5 million in checks — all in an effort to convince a judge that his conviction on tax charges should cost him nothing more than home detention and some public service announcements.

None of it worked. The “Blade” actor was ordered to do hard time.
Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison Thursday for failing to file tax returns, the maximum penalty — and a victory for prosecutors who sought to make an example of the action star. (FOX News)

Luke Mullins of The Collar provides us with some comforting new that all the spin and BS from Hollywood could not save Snipe’s bacon. Hollywood certainly has a distorted definition of character and integrity.

Should a victim lose their rights because they die? It never seems that the suspects in crimes care anything about the rights of their victims. Funny, it’s only when its about a suspects defense does the concern of rights matter. Then again, its only about those her are on trial and their rights.

This is what is preventing Justice for Becca from a Sexual Abuser … a car crash.  A car crash that took the life of Becca. How is someone’s death supposed to benefit a child abuser?  You should all be outraged by the lack of Victim’s Rights in our legal system.

Has the media ever bothered to look into the case of 11 year old Becca McEvoy? There is a case right there in front of you that has all of the compelling elements for what the media cares about most, ratings. We are not even going to try and talk to the fact that there is a human, touching and gut wrenching side to this story that would appeal to viewers. No American ever wants to see an 11 year old child sexually abused let alone done so by the US Court system.

An 11 year old girl is allegedly sexually assaulted by her step-father, Bob Ingle, and then because of a horrible car accident tragedy Becca is killed prior to the case going to trial. Bob Ingle was charged with rape, sodomy and sexual abuse. Thus, a man who committed repeated crimes against his step-daughter may walk because of the fact that an accused get to face his/her accuser. Is a victim of rape supposed to lose their rights because they die?

PLEASE HELP PROVIDE JUSTICE FOR BECCA.

Aruba: Judge Rules that Near Closing of Airport Due to Striking Fireman Not that Serious … “Unbelievable”

How is it that an island that is 80% dependent upon tourism can continually take the tact that the tourist is not that important?

So tourists that continue to go to Aruba, even after the Holloway and Twitty families have been denied justice by some peculiar Aruban judges decisions. They think that such decisions do not affect them at all rather than looking at the larger systemic problem. Those “all about me” tourists may want to rethink that logic. Listen to the judges logic in the case of striking fire fighters and that the near closing of the Aruban airport was no big deal and not that serious, the problem was not so serious; that the problem was not serious because the duty officer has anticipated the actions. A judge actually thinks that the near closing of an airport with no fire fighting support with flights in the air to Aruba is not that serious. Wonder if the people on the fight think it was serious? What do you think?

Doesn’t this remind one of the bizarre, circular logic used in the Natalee Holloway case providing Joran Van der Sloot and others a free pass of getting a get out of jail free card in the death and disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

ORANJESTAD – Lawyer Anthony Ruiz refers to the verdict of last Friday I the lawsuit against fire fighters’ union Sinba as ‘unbelievable and unacceptable’.  “The judge has twisted his own words in the verdict of April 3 and that of his colleague in the verdict of April 8.”

After the verdict last Friday, Ruiz, who represents the Land, immediately lodged an appeal against this verdict, even before it was put on paper.  “This is unacceptable.”  The appeal comes up in court tomorrow afternoon and also the verdict of last Friday will most probably come up.  The lawyer is pleased with the fast handling.  “It proofs that the Court is taking the case seriously, because the procedure is usually not so fast.”  The ‘unannounced’ actions of the fire fighters on Friday had almost caused the airport to close.  “That’s what Buckley (lawyer Lisette Buckley that represents AAA, red.) tried to explain.  Thanks to the duty officer that immediately called reserve personnel that immediately answered, the airport could remain open.  And the judge now says that because of that, the problem was not so serious; that the problem was not serious because the duty officer has anticipated the actions.  Unbelievable.”

For anymore who ever cared about their children and protecting children from not only child predators but our legal system as well, you must read the following story. To those in the media I would ask … Who is looking out for Becca McEvoy?

Since when in the United States do we care more about the rights of pedophile than the rights of children and justice for children who have been victimized!!! Law makers and judges better get their collective acts together before we look at them with the same disdain as we see the pedophiles and child predators themselves. Be prepared to be outraged by the story of Becca McEvoy.

Who has heard of the names and stories of 11 year old Rebecca “Becca” McEvoy and 13 year old Kristen Howard? The sad answer to that question is most likely, not many. The real question is why not!!! Maybe its because the media is too busy covering stories on what rehab Britney Spears or Lindsey Lohan in in. Maybe Paris Hilton has a new video out on the internet. Or maybe for some reason the media wants to more promote the stupidest video of the day on YouTube. As we sit back and hear some of the media discuss, some the most inane news of the day, I have to continually ask myself why have we heard nothing of two little girls who were not victimized once by being molested, but a second time that may be even more heinous.

Who is Becca McEvoy? Becca was an 11 year old girl with her whole life ahead of her. She had all the hopes, promise and dreams of an 11 year old. Becca was a precious little girl with a dazzling smile, who would light up a room.

MOBILE, Ala.) March 12 — Becca McEvoy’s personality spills out of pictures, photos taken of her before a terrible accident.

She was goofy, pouty, and her cousin, Theresa Jordan says, Becca’s smile was dazzling. “Her little smile, she’d just come in the room and light up the room.”

Family members wanted Becca’s face to be shown in the attached video of this news report because she doesn’t have a voice… not anymore.

Unfortunately that would not come to pass as we read from her obituary that Rebecca Lynn “Becca” McEvoy, a student at First Baptist North Mobile School, died Monday in an area hospital.

Becca had a story and a secret to tell. That story lead to the investigation into rape charges against Bob Ingle, a former Chickasaw police officer and stepfather of Becca McEvoy. At the time, a 10 year old Becca mustered the courage to tell doctors and police her story of sexual abuse allegedly at the hands of her then step father. Bob Ingle was charged with rape, sodomy and sexual abuse.

However, the case gets worse if that is possible for Becca McEvoy and her family. 11 year old Becca McEvoy after being sexually molested would later die in a car accident before the rape case ever went to trial. In steps the lawyer that would defend a child predator wanting to dismiss the case stating that his client has constitutional right to cross examine his accuser.

“If we can’t use what she said, the case is over,” said Steve Giardini who prosecutes child sex crimes for the Mobile County District Attorney’s office. He says there will be a hearing to determine if what Becca said before her death can be used in a trial.

That hearing was supposed to be held on March 13. It has been pushed back for a second time in order to accommodate cases where the victims are alive. Giardini says he wants to prosecute the case. Whether he can will be up to a judge.” She’s not here and her case might not be seen and if its not, I feel like I failed her.” (NBC 15)

Can you imagine that the fate of justice for a little girl is now in the hands of a judge. Please do not let children be victimized twice. It is bad enough that an 11 year old was raped, but to allow her to be raped again by the legal system is beyond shameful.

Yet again there was another form of victimzation by low life’s who have a special spot reserved in hell that would use the death of a 11 year old girl as a scam for their monetary gain.
