US Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) Says Key To Getting Out The Dem Vote Is ‘Sexting’ (VIDEO)
74 year old Democrat Representative Jim Clyburn from South Carolina has come up with a sure fire way to get out the Democrat vote in 2014 … SEXTING!!! I am almost certain Bill Clinton might agree.
From the The Daily Caller comes the third-ranking House Democrat’s appearance on C-SPAN, where REP. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) accidentally misspoke and used the word “sexting” instead of “texting”. Oops. Sorry Wonkette, but this is funny. Like you have never pointed and laughed at anyone before. Nothing like some good, clean, innocent humor. Nothing mean intended here, obviously Rep. Clyburn not a big texter. However, with the problems facing the Democrats in 2014 thanks to Obama’s failures, sexting may be the only way to get out the vote.
“Use the tools that we have,” he said, according the Daily Caller’s clip of the appearance. “We’ve got great tools to communicate about everything else. We can text. What do we call it? Sexting. Let’s do some voting, organizing over the internet. We’ve got the tools. Let’s use them for a new massive movement that will make sure that we can have in November 2014 the kind of turnout at the polls that we had in 2012 in November.”

See What Liberal Democrat Barney Frank Says About Obama Admin on Obamacare: “They Just Lied to People”
JUST HOW BAD IS OBAMACARE … EVEN UBER-LIBERAL DEMOCRAT BARNEY FRANK CALLS IT NOTHING BUT A PACK OF LIES … AND CALLED OBAMA A LIAR.
You know that Barack Obama’s signature piece of legislation is a disaster when even libs like former Rep. Barney Frank come out against the Obama administration and say, “they just lied to people.” Think about what Barney Frank just said. A liberal Democrat just admitted that Barack Obama knowingly lied to the American people. Does anyone really wonder why Obama has no more credibility? Frank stated in his HUFO interview that Obama should have better explained the situation to the American people, and laid out the possibilities of losing their existing plans. Sorry, trying to hold back the laughter. Had Obama done such a thing, he knew that the ACA would be more unpopular than it already was and he would lose reelection. That is why he lied.
President Barack Obama made a major political mistake by lying about the details of his health care plan, according to former House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-Mass.).
“The rollout was so bad, and I was appalled — I don’t understand how the president could have sat there and not been checking on that on a weekly basis,” Frank told HuffPost during a July interview. “But frankly, he should never have said as much as he did, that if you like your current health care plan, you can keep it. That wasn’t true. And you shouldn’t lie to people. And they just lied to people.”
Obama has taken significant flak in conservative circles for claiming that his health care overhaul would allow all existing health care plans to continue, when, in fact, new consumer protection standards would require some people to sign up for more comprehensive insurance. The law provides government subsidies to help people of modest means pay for the more robust plans. Frank is a strong supporter of the law, and he has repeatedly defended Obama and his legislative agenda.
“If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor PERIOD!
If you like your health care plan you will be able to keep your healthcare plan PERIOD!
No one will take it away, no matter what!”
This is the reason why Obamacare is as unpopular as ever and will become even more unpopular in the future. Everyone has not figured out they that they have been lied to.
Unhinged Democrat Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi Chases Rep. Tom Marino (R-PA) Across House Chamber After He Called Her Out … “They didn’t have the strength to go after it back then.”
Nance Pelosi takes crossing the aisle to the extreme …
Rep. Tom Marino (R-PA) certainly did hit a nerve to say the least when he addressed the House regarding the debate on the border funding bill Friday night. Marino called out former Speaker of the House Nanncy Pelosi why when Democrats had control of the House, Senate and White House they did nothing about the border issue, but now with to make it a political issue. Needless to say, San Fran Nan then did something she never does, she came across the aisle. However, it was to confront Marino. After Pelosi said something to Marino, he responded, “It’s true, madam leader, I did the research on it,” Marino said. “You might want to try it. You might want to try it, madam leader. Do the research on it. Do the research. I did it. That’s one thing that you don’t do.” File this one under, The truth hurts, don’t it.
“You know something that I find quite interesting about the other side? Under the leadership of the former Speaker [Pelosi], and under the leadership of their former leader [Rep. Steny Hoyer], when in 2009 and 2010, they had the House, the Senate and the White House, and they knew this problem existed. They didn’t have the strength to go after it back then. But now are trying to make a political issue out of it now.”
The House then voted to approve the $694 million border supplemental, 223-189.
In an unusual breach of decorum, even for the divided Congress, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi chased Rep. Tom Marino across the House floor, taking offense at comments by the Pennsylvania Republican during debate on the border funding bill Friday night.
“We don’t have law and order,” Marino began as he wrapped up his comments on the border supplemental. “My colleagues on the other side don’t want to do anything about it.”
“You know something that I find quite interesting about the other side? Under the leadership of the former Speaker [Pelosi], and under the leadership of their former leader [Rep. Steny Hoyer], when in 2009 and 2010, they had the House, the Senate and the White House, and they knew this problem existed,” he continued. “They didn’t have the strength to go after it back then. But now are trying to make a political issue out of it now.”
Off-mic, Pelosi then approached Marino, crossing the aisle in view of cameras, and apparently challenged Marino’s assertion that Democrats did not do anything about the issue when they had majority control.
“Yes it is true,” Marino replied directly to Pelosi, who was House speaker in those years. “I did the research on it. You might want to try it. You might want to try it, Madam Leader. Do the research on it. Do the research. I did it. That’s one thing that you don’t do.”
Marino then urged lawmakers to support the border supplemental “because apparently I hit the right nerve.”
Powerline opines, “Before this morning, I regret to say, I was unfamiliar with Tom Marino. Today Marino is my hero.” I have to second that as well!
UPDATE I: Pelosi spokeswoman Evangeline George attempts to explain Pelosi’s bizarre behavior.
According to Pelosi spokeswoman Evangeline George, “Leader Pelosi just wanted to remind the Congressman that House Democrats had the courage to pass the DREAM Act – and have the courage to stand up for what the American people want: bipartisan, comprehensive immigration reform.”
George added that “Pelosi accepted the Congressman’s apology.”
UPDATE II: Marino’s chief of staff, Bill Tighe, stressed that Marino did not apologize to Pelosi, and will not apologize.
It would appear that Rep. Marino did not apologize to Pelosi and San Fran Nan had more to say than just the “Dream Act”. Marino took to twitter and tweeted that Nancy Pelosi called me an “insignificant person”.
“[Rep. Marino] did not apologize to Leader Pelosi and does not intend to do so as he has nothing to apologize for. She was entirely out of line in approaching him while he was recognized and delivering remarks on the Floor,” Tighe wrote in an email. “Her staff’s comment in your story about her accepting his apology in simply not true.”
Later, Marino took to Twitter to explain his side of the story.

What a Coincidence, Another Hard Drive Crash … This Time It’s April Sands, a Former Employee at the Federal Election Commission who Resigned After Admitting to Violating the Hatch Act Promoting Obama’s Re-election in 2012 .
HMM, ANOTHER CONVENIENT HARD DRIVE CRASH, I AM STARTING TO SENSE A PATTERN … AND LOW AND BEHOLD A LINK TO LOIS LERNER …
Democrat playbook, page 7, paragraph 2, subsections 6: When caught committing a crime and perpetrating a fraud upon the American people, destroy your hard drive.
April Sands was a Federal Election Commission lawyer before she resigned earlier this year and accepted a ban on holding government jobs until 2016. Sands resigned after admitting to violating The Hatch Act, which prohibits government workers from advocating for candidates while on the job. Just curious, is there any government agency that did not violate the Hatch Act and promote Obama’s 2012 reelection? However, Sands escaped prosecution as her computer hard drive “mysteriously” crashed and was recycled by the FEC before any evidence could be recovered. Hmm, haven’t we heard this one before? As former NY Yankee MLB great Yogi Bearra would say, “it’s deja vu all over again”. Can you say Lois Lerner? Funny Lois Lerner’s name is mentioned as Lerner, who has a case of her own missing emails and hard drive crash was Sands’ supervisor until 2001. you just can’t make this stuff up.
Just curious, is there any governmental agency that backs up data?
It’s becoming very evident that the 2012 presidential election may have been the greatest case of voter fraud ever in American history. Sorry, just one too many coincidences.
House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) on Monday made yet another request to the federal government for details about a crashed hard drive that may have contained information allowing criminal charges to be brought against a federal official.
Issa’s newest letter concerns the hard drive of April Sands, a former employee at the Federal Election Commission who resigned in the spring after admitting to violations of the Hatch Act. That law puts restrictions on the ability of government officials to conduct political activities while on the job, or from government offices.
Issa noted that while Sands admitted to violating the law, the FEC just recently told Congress that it could not recover her hard drive, which made it impossible to seek criminal charges against her.
“Recent information obtained by the committee suggests that the FEC OIG could not pursue criminal prosecution for the misconduct because the attorney’s hard drive had been recycled by the FEC,” Issa’s letter said.
As a result, Issa asked the FEC to provide information to his committee by July 28. That includes all documents related to the hard drive loss, and documents detailing the FEC’s practices for retaining information on computers.
The FEC is an independent agency, but Sands’ emails clearly indicated she favored Obama’s re-election in 2012. Before the election, she tweeted things like:
“Our #POTUS’s birthday is August 4. He’ll be 51. I’m donating at least $51 to give him the best birthday present ever: a second term.” In another tweet, she said anyone supporting Republicans is her “enemy.”
I guess this is just another phony scandal.
UPDATE I: More from Town Hall, It sounds like they have found there to be one too many coincidences as well …. Lerner Associate: “I Don’t Understand How Anyone But Straight White Men Can Vote Republican”
Which brings us to the case of April Sands, an employee at the Federal Elections Commission (FEC), who struck a deal with the agency’s Inspector General to avoid criminal charges related to running afoul of the Hatch Act on numerous occasions. She has openly confessed to breaching federal law as part of her effective plea bargain, but investigators were unable to probe a potential goldmine of incriminating activity: Her email. Why? You guessed it; her hard drive crashed, supposedly wiping out her email records, and resulting in the FEC recycling (i.e., destroying) the hard drive. Sounds familiar. Did I mention that Ms. Sands worked under Lois Lerner when Lerner served as the agency’s Associate General Counsel for Enforcement? Lots of coincidences and similarities, no?
UPDATE II: Interview with Lou Dobbs discussing the amazing coincidences of corrupt government employee hard drive crashes.
Rep. Gutierrez (D-IL) Shames Barack Obama For Not Visiting the Texas-Mexico Border … Is Like Not Visiting Sick Relative While Vacationing Nearby
Or playing golf for that matter … or pool.
OUCH, even Democrats are calling out Barack Obama for the absurdity of the president going to Texas for fundraisers and not visiting the humanitarian crisis on the US-Mexican border that he created. Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) shamed Obama on CNN’s Crossfire and compared the president not visiting the Texas border, while fund raising in Texas to ignoring a sick relative in the hospital while vacationing nearby.
“I wish the President of the United States were going down and visiting the children and visiting the site tonight. I kind of think of, you know, if I were on vacation in Puerto Rico and my wife’s aunt was in the hospital and I didn’t go see her, I think her family would probably get together and probably say ‘You made a poor choice.’ It is important that he do that.”
Barack Obama, Too Busy to go to the US-Mexico border in Texas, but can play pool and yuck it up
