Speaker of the House John Boehner Sends Letter to Obama on Military Action in Libya … What’s the Mission?
Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH), in the wake of the United States Launching cruise missiles and taking military action against Libya, has sent a letter to President Barack Obama requesting answers as to what the mission is and what America’s role is in achieving that mission. Since the first cruise missiles werelaunched, the muddled and mixed message from Obama and his minions has been beyond confusing. Obama has stated that Khaddafi should step down, yet others in his Admin have stated they are not targeting Khadaffi and a scenario could occur where he remains in power after all is said and done. What?
I respect your authority as Commander-in-Chief and support our troops as they carry out their mission. But I and many other members of the House of Representatives are troubled that U.S. military resources were committed to war without clearly defining for the American people, the Congress, and our troops what the mission in Libya is and what America’s role is in achieving that mission. In fact, the limited, sometimes contradictory, case made to the American people by members of your Administration has left some fundamental questions about our engagement unanswered. At the same time, by contrast, it appears your Administration has consulted extensively on these same matters with foreign entities such as the United Nations and the Arab League.
It is my hope that you will provide the American people and Congress a clear and robust assessment of the scope, objective, and purpose of our mission in Libya and how it will be achieved. Here are some of the questions I believe must be answered:

GOP Speaker Boehner Thinks Obama was Born in the US and a Christian … How Come Bill Maher Does Not?
The MSM thinks this the governments job to tell the people what to think, not listen to “We the People”.
Imagine this, on this mornings “Meet the Press” GOP House Speaker John Boehner stated that people have the right to believe what they want when it comes to President Barack Obama whether its correct or incorrect. David Gregory pressed Speaker Boehner during the interview asking him whether it is his repsonsibility to “stand up to that kind of ignorance,”and do the bidding of the President. One would think that the MSM had that job well in hand. Boehner responded, “It’s not my job to tell the American people what to think. Our job in Washington is to listen to the American people.”

US House of Representatives Set to Repeal Obamacare
The GOP controlled House is set to go forward with the repeal of Obamacare. The process will resume following its postponement this week due to the Arizona mass killings at the hands of Jared Loughner that left six dead and US Rep. Gabby Giffords (AZ-D) critically injured. However, the process will begin next week by the GOP controlled House to fulfill their campaign promise to repeal Obamacare, that Democrats passed against the will of the people.
The U.S. House of Representatives will resume action next week on repealing President Barack Obama’s landmark healthcare overhaul, a House Republican spokesman said on Thursday.
The House had been expected to act this week on the repeal bill, but the vote was postponed after a shooting spree in Arizona killed six people and critically wounded U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords.
“As the White House noted, it is important for Congress to get back to work, and to that end we will resume thoughtful consideration of the health care bill next week,” said Brad Dayspring, a spokesman for House Majority Leader Eric Cantor.

HOPE & CHANGE … Nancy Pelosi’s Last Hours as Speaker of the House, Speaker Elect Boehner to be Sworn in
Ding, Dong, Pelosi is almost gone … January 5, 2011, a new beginning for America.
There is only mere hours left in Nancy Pelosi’s reign as Democrat Speaker of the House. Later this morning, John Bohner (OH-R) will be given the oath of office and handed the gavel. Actually, they will probably have to pry it out of the hand of Pelosi.
The House is being returned to the PEOPLE.
Hat Tip: Drudge
This might be one of the best pics ever
Boehner will be sworn in as the new Speaker of the Republican controlled 112th Congress and he will then swear in the new Congress. As one of their first acts of Congress, they will read the US Constitution. Maybe this Congress will actually also follow it. Heck, with all this “Hope & Change” and Pelosi being ousted, the heck with Boehner, I might shed a tear.

Return of the Jedi … Boehner Fires back at Democrat Senators, Vows to Push forward with Obamacare Repeal
Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers have nothing on Speaker elect John Boehner, I won’t back down …
Incoming House Speaker John Boehner’s office (R-Ohio) stated that he would not back down to Democrat despite their warnings. Boehner vowed to push ahead, full steam ahead, with legislation repealing healthcare reform. Boehner’s office responded to a letter sent by the Senate’s top five Democrats, vowing to block a House bill repealing healthcare reform:
Senators Reid, Durbin, Schumer, Murray and Stabenow:
Thank you for reminding us – and the American people – of the backroom deal that you struck behind closed doors with ‘Big Pharma,’ resulting in bigger profits for the drug companies, and higher prescription drug costs for 33 million seniors enrolled in Medicare Part D, at a cost to the taxpayers of $42.6 billion.
The House is going to pass legislation to repeal that now. You’re welcome.

John Boehner, a good start. Another plus will be the reading of the US Constitution.
