Gas Prices Up 83% During his First Term as President … As He Touts Payroll Tax Cut

As President Barack Obama touts extending the payroll tax cut, every one in the room including the water carrying liberal Obama media seems to be ignoring the real issue … gas prices are up in the United States 83% since Barack Obama took office. I guess he will be blaming this on Bush as well.

President Barack Obama listed rising gas prices as among the many reasons to extend the payroll tax cut Tuesday, flanked by individuals the White House promoted as being affected by $40 per paycheck the average American would lose if the tax cut is not extended at the end of February. [...]

CNSNews.com reported last month that under Obama, the price of gas climbed by 83 percent.

When Obama entered the White House in January 2009, the city average price for one gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $1.79, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The figures are in nominal dollars: not adjusted for inflation. Five months later in June, unleaded gasoline was $2.26 per gallon, an increase of 26 percent. By December 2011, the price of regular unleaded gas per gallon was $3.28, an 83 percent increase from January 2009.

Gas prices are only expected to only go up Some analysts are stating they could go as high as $5 a gallon.. Presently, AAA has the US average price at $3.518. Try winning reelection when voters can barely afford to drive their car to work. All the spinning does not explain away what could be a greater than 100% increase in gas prices since Obama took office.

Gallup Poll: Most Americans Still Say They Are Better Off Than Their Parents … Might Want to Check Out that $15+ Trillion Debt

REALLY? SOME MAY WANT TO TAKE A BETTER LOOK AT THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES …

A recent Gallup poll showed that most Americans still say they are better off than their parents. REALLY? 69% of those polled said that they were better off than their parents, 29% said, not so much. Unless you are comparing your parents who lived during The Great Depression or the Carter 1970′s, the poll results are a bit hard to believe. Heck, many are not better off than I was in my mid to late 20′s. Of course those making more $’s say they are better off; however, I really wonder how much the younger folks in this survey understand the debt they owe in the future. They might be singing a different tune.

High-income Americans are significantly more likely than those with lower incomes to say they are doing better financially than their parents were when they were the same age. Still, even a majority of lower-income Americans say they are better off financially than their parents were.

Maybe Gallup should have polled the 1 year old to 10 year old demographic and the unborn who will be responsible for paying off the out of control $15 trillion (DEBT CLOCK), every growing debt run up by those who state they are better off then their parents! With this present economy, the number of unemployed, records number of food stamps, poor housing market, energy costs and the out of control federal debt, it is hard to believe how individuals think they are better off than their parents.

The fact that you have less liberties today than your parents did automatically makes you less better off than your parents.

Oh but wait according to ABC News, seniors will get an increase of $38 a month. BIG WOOP! Reason why there is an increase … inflation is on the rise.

Generic Presidential Ballot Election 2012: Generic Republican Candidate 46%, Obama 42%

More bad polling news for President Barack Obama. In the most recent Rasmussen Generic Presidential Ballot Election 2012, the generic GOP candidate beats Obama 46% to 42%. Hardly a good thing when you cannot even beat a unnamed opponent. With a never improving economy, where only 24% of Americans think that we are headed in the right direction. Obama was elected in 2008 to provide “Hope & Change” and fix the economy. he has done neither.

A generic Republican candidate now holds a four-point lead over President Obama in a hypothetical 2012 election matchup.  It’s the fifth week in a row that the GOP candidate has been ahead and the widest gap between the candidates to date.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds a generic Republican candidate earns support from 46% of Likely U.S. Voters, while the president picks up 42% of the vote.  Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and nine percent (9%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The polling numbers get even worse and can explain why Barack Obama is going to have a difficult time in gaining reelection. 55% of Americans want to repeal Obamacare, 75% do not believe that we do not do enough to develop its gas and oil resources. Not only will Obama be hard pressed to gain reelection, one has to wonder how his economic, energy and spending policies are not going to adversely affect other Democrats running for reelection in 2012.

Gallup Poll: Barack Obama back Under 50% Job Approval Rating … Suddenly Obama for Oil Drilling, “Drill, Baby, Drill”

That didn’t take long … President Barack Obama’s job approval rating back under 50%.

According to the most recent Gallup poll, Barack Obama has a job approval rating of 48%, while 45% disapprove. The bounce appears to be over and it back to reality. The US economy is headed the wrong direction, unemployment is at 9.0% and gas prices rising. Rasmussen has Obama at a 48% job approval and 51% disapproval.

It should be no surprise that suddenly Obama has made another flip-flop and is for oil drilling. Wow, how long will it take before he takes credit for “Drill, Baby, Drill” ? Next thing we know, toy companies will be making roughneck Obama, the oil drilling dude. Hmm, I thought there was no silver bullet Barack? There are two real questions, one, will Obama actually drill and two, will he give the credit to Sarah Palin?

Reporting from Washington— President Obama will open Alaska’s national petroleum reserve to new drilling, as part of a broad plan aimed at blunting criticism that he is not doing enough to address rising energy prices.

The plan, unveiled in Obama’s weekly radio address Saturday, also would fast-track environmental assessment of petroleum exploration in some portions of the Atlantic and extend the leases of oil companies whose work in the Gulf of Mexico and the Arctic Ocean was interrupted by the drilling moratorium after last year’s BP oil spill.

Wasn’t it just last year that Obama said that we cannot drill our way out of the problem and that is why you never heard him say, “drill, baby, drill”.

“You never heard me say, ‘”drill, baby drill… We can’t drill our way out of the problem

Obviously his poll numbers are threatened by the high gas prices and the reactionary, flip-flopping president now must she he is the “Oil Drilling” president. Now he unveils an oil drilling plan, what about that green energy Barack? This President could care less about new drilling, he cares about his poll numbers and reelection. Why did he wait this long to present such an energy plan? Barack Obama stood in the way of oil exploration and actually harmed it. Now, he says drill. Plueze!

What a Joke … AP Poll, Obama Has a Approval Rating of 60% … Sample Skewed to Democrats by 17%

THE 60% JOB APPROVAL PRESIDENT, NOT!

UNBELIEVABLE, and the truth of the matter is, it is unbelievable … But what should we expect from the liberal and bias media when it comes to President Barack Hussein Obama. Nice job AP, hacks!

What, you mean polls are not supposed to sample 100% Democrat sheeple?

A recent AP Poll, Barack Obama’s approval rating was up to 60% and 53% of respondents stated that  the Obamamessiah deserved reelection. See the pdf. detail  HERE. But wait, it gets better, or more comical as the case may be, 52% of the poll respondents stated that Barack Obama was doing a good job in handling the economy, only 47% disapprove. What a joke, just recently NBC News poll has Obama at a low of  37% in handling the economy. But the AP poll has even more fabrications as seen at NRO:

And on the economy, 52 percent approve of the way Obama’s handling it, and only 47 percent disapprove! He’s up 54–46 on approval of how he’s handling health care! On unemployment, 52 percent approval, 47 percent disapproval! 57 percent approval on handling Libya! Even on the deficit, he’s at 47 percent approval, 52 percent disapproval!
