Joran Van der Sloots Many Stories; Koen’s fathers Boat? One of the Many.
There have been so many stories told by Joran Van der Sloot, lets not forget this one. Joran reportedly mentioned Koen’s father’s boat in a statement in early June. Beth Twitty has also indicated that there had been activity with this boat on the night of May 30. Both Dave Holloway and Beth Twitty had asked for Dompig to interview him. Koen Gottenbos is said to be one of Joran’s close friends. (Hat Tip for many of the photo’s to Bonsai and analysis)

The boat is of a size that would be easy to launch at a number of beaches. The vehicle in the photo is the same vehicle as shown in photos last fall…

The “Gardener” witness reportedly had seen Joran and the Kalpoe brothers near this pond. There were reports of this witness indicating that these suspects had put something in the pond. The pond was partially drained in July, 2005 (never fully drained as water kept seeping back in)

Dave Holloway on the Joran Van der Sloot Interview; Lies, Lies, Lies.
Dave Holloway, the father of the missing AL teen in Aruba, was asked to give his opinion of the ABC Joran Van der Sloot interview. In a nutshell Dave said, the “Interview Full of Lies.”
Van der Sloot admits he has lied in the past about the night he spent with Natalee Holloway, but he says he’s telling the truth now. He says he left her, unharmed at the beach the night she disappeared and he went home.
“Do you buy anything he’s saying?” asked this reporter.
“When somebody lies the first time and then they lie again and implicate two other people, you can’t buy anything they say from here on out,” said Holloway.
Joran Van der Sloot certainly does suffer from a credibility stand point. Between the previous and continues fabrications and the smirks during the interview, it is really hard to believe much of what comes from Joran’s mouth. Dave Holloway comments on the fact that Joran ran off the beach and left his shoes behind. During the interview Joran says he got to the car and realized he did not have his shoes and just left anyhow. What reasonable person just doesn’t walk back and get them?
Holloway sat down with us to watch the interview with van der Sloot, and he says there are too many holes for him to be believed. Chief among them, he said, is how the Dutch teen says he left his shoes on the beach and how that isn’t proof that he was panicked when he left.
“For someone to say he left his shoes on the beach and jumped in the car and left, something happened,” said Holloway. “You don’t run off and leave your shoes and then start making up a bunch of lies.”
(WTOK)
Dave Holloway also hopes that Joran’s lies will catch up to him. After watching the ABC interview many now can understand why attorneys tell there clients to shut up. In all, this interview did Joran no favors.

Joran Van der Sloot: “I Lied Because I Was Scared”
Well America will get to hear Joran Van der Sloot later tonight; however, one wonders whether he is telling the truth. Joran states he lied because he was scared. Hell, even Joran jokes during the interview as to his believability.
Feb. 23, 2006 — Joran van der Sloot, the Dutch teen who was the last person seen with Natalee Holloway the night she disappeared in Aruba, said he lied about leaving the American teen alone at the beach because he was scared.
Joran Van der Sloot seems to express many qualities, fear and the ability to be afraid of a situation does not come across as one of them. If they had, one would think that he would have been afraid of defying his parents and leaving the house after he said he was in for the night. In the case of Joran he seems to express that “invincibility” trait and that nothing can ever harm him. Why else would someone defy their attorney and parents and still come to NYC for the ABC interviews?
Why does Joran have a credibility problem? Joran now claims that he did not have sex with Natalee Holloway because he states he did not have a condom.
Dutch teenager questioned in the case of missing Mountain Brook teen Natalee Holloway last year says he had planned to go to his house to have sex with her the night she was last seen but instead left her alone on a beach.
He also explains that he did not have sex with Natalee Holloway because he didn’t have a condom.
Joran van der Sloot Talks About Natalee Holloway (Take Poll question, How believable do you find van der Sloot’s story?)
That seems to once again be a much different story than Joran Van der Sloot told over The National Enquirer which in turn contradicted his Current Affair interview. Anyone confused yet?
In a dramatic new twist, Joran then claimed that after leaving the bar, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe drove him and Natalee to his home — not to the beach. Kristina said: “They went to his home for a while and then to the Holiday Inn, where she was staying.
“They decided to go for a walk on the beach, and the Kalpoes left. He told me, ‘Natalee was totally wasted, and I was drunk. We had sex on the beach’.” (National Enquirer)
In the interview ABC claims that Joran Van der Sloot was home between 3:30 and 4:30am. However, in a rather interesting wording of the article it states only “that van der Sloot was at home and on-line.” How does one really know who was on line to potentially create an alibi? It could have been a van der Sloot as ABC reports, a friend, anyone. That morning Joran emailed Deepak to tell him he was home. How odd, didn’t Joran first say Deepak drove him home? He then changed it to he walked home. Now he has changed it to Satish drove him home. Still, why would he need to have done that at all?
Between 3:30 and 4:30 in the morning, records reviewed by “Primetime” seem to confirm that van der Sloot was at home and on-line — he e-mailed Deepak Kalpoe to say he was home, he checked soccer scores, and visited a porn site.

Dave Holloway’s Book … Aruba : The Tragic Untold Story of Natalee Holloway and Corruption in Paradise
It has been known from some time that Dave Holloway was in the process of writing a book about his daughter, Natalie Holloway.
- Aruba : The Tragic Untold Story of Natalee Holloway and Corruption in Paradise
- Authors: Dave Holloway; R. Stephanie Good; Larry Garrison
- Publisher: Nelson
- Current Price: $17.15 (US)
What was not known was the manner in how this book would help others and others missing children. Many had criticized Dave Holloway for writing a book. Others said he was strictly doing it for the money and profiting by it. All of course were wrong.
I had been waiting for the OK from Dave to reference the non-profit foundation that was being set up called The Natalie Foundation for Missing Persons. It was mentioned briefly last night of the Rita Cosby Show by Larry Garrison
I also want to let you know, on the book that I wrote with R. Stephanie Good and Dave Holloway, that we created a foundation, the Natalie Holloway Foundation for Missing Persons, and to also continue the search for Natalie.
The following is a note I received from Dave Holloway regarding the non-profit that is being set up in Natalie’s name and to honor and memorialized Natalie Holloway.
Our family has received tremendous support from our church, community, and thousands of caring individuals all over the US and the world! When people help you in a crisis situation, you then want to return assistance and help others who may have a similar experience. The book will help us achieve this goal.
I was approached by a number of authors who began to write a book about Natalie’s story. I initially turned down these offers, however, it became obvious to me that someone was going to write a book about Natalee’s story. I would not be able to control the input and content that was being written about Natalee and the circumstances regarding her disappearance. At that point, the decision was not about whether or not a book would be written, but rather, Would it be written “with” OR “without” my input and control?
The proceeds of the book will be used for the continued search for Natalee. A portion with go to The Natalee Holloway Foundation and to other charitable causes. Our filing for non-profit status will occur in the near future.
Thanks Dave
A noble and honorable cause from a good man.
