Presidents George W. Bush & Clinton Honor the Heroes of Flight 93 in Shanksville, PA … September 11, 2001 … 10 Years Later
To the heroes of Flight 93, we remember you and we shall never forget … LET”S ROLL!!!
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends”
Former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton spoke today in an emotional event in Shanksville, PA at the unveiling of the memorial for victims of United Airlines Flight 93. The heroes of Flighty 93 were remembered today by GWB as he said, ” … they left something else, a legacy of bravery and selflessness that will always inspire America. For generations people will study the story of Fight 93. They will learn that individual choices make a difference. That love and sacrifice can triumph over evil and hate. And that what happened above this Pennsylvania field ranks among the most courageous acts in American history.“
Today was a day of honoring the 40 heroes of Flight 93 and remembering that your actions and what you do in life can echo an eternity. The heroes of Flight 93′s names are known to as all as a who’s who of what is great about America and her citizens. The heroes of Flight 93 were “We the People” who on the morning of September 1, 2001 became the first counteroffensive against the Muslim extremist terrorist. The heroes of Flight 93 embodied what is great in all of US. Against all odds, they said NO! They refused to be victims, they prevented what all know would have been a plane attack on the White House or the US Capitol. The heroes of Flight 93 gave their lives as they battled to take over the cockpit (VIDEO).
“The most likely target of the plane was the United States Capitol,” Bush said. “We’ll never know how many innocent people might have been lost, but we do know this: Americans are alive today because the passengers and crew of Flight 93 chose to act, and our nation will be forever grateful.”
Each of the 40 heroes names were read, followed by two bell rings. Sadly, even the mention of an unborn child was referenced reminding us of just how many truly innocent lives were lost. That was followed by a bagpipe performance of Amazing Grace and then Grammy-award winning singer Sarah McLachlan sang “I Will Remember You.”
Their names are permanently inscribed in our minds forever. Those who fought back against terrorism and foiled their plot of destruction. The gave the ultimate sacrifice and for that we shall always rememner you … GOD BLESS YOU ALL. We remember Todd Beamer, Mark Bingham (VIDEO), Jeremy Glick, Sandra Bradshaw, Tom Burnett and all.

KUDOS to former President Bill Clinton and VP Joe Biden for attending and speaking at the event. Clinton praised the passengers of Flight 93. What was most impressive of Clinton and Biden was their honest assessment of former President Bush and his handling of the horrendous events of 9-11 and the days that followed. Biden praised GWB for his bringing of America together on a day that could have divided us.
VP Joe Biden thanks President GWB for Uniting America following 9/11
“There has always been a special place in the common memory for people who deliberately, knowingly, certainly laid down their lives for other people to live,” said Former President Bill Clinton. “Ordinary people, given no time to decide, did the right thing…I hope and pray to God that people will remember this.”

47% of Democrats Say Obama Should Have Primary Challenge in 2012 … Overall, 51% Say He Should be a One Term “One-der”
Barack Obama … a one term “One-der”.My how times have changed since 2008 and the American people have come to realize what Barack Hussein Obama is all about. Will Obama face a challenge in the 2012 Democrat primaries? Will there be a civil war in the Democrat party following the 2010 election avalanche?
In a recent Associated Press-Knowledge Networks Poll, 47% of Democrats believe that Barack Obama should be challenged in the 2012 Democrat primaries. What party is in the midst of a civil war? What a change from 2008, where they deemed Obama, “The One” and ”The Obamamessiah”. Overall, 51% of those polled stated Obama deserves to be defeated in November 2012 while 47 percent support his re-election.
That glum assessment carries over into the nation at large, which is similarly divided over whether Obama should be a one-term president.
A real Democratic challenge to Obama seems unlikely at this stage and his re-election bid is a long way off. But the findings underscore how disenchanted his party has grown heading into the congressional elections Tuesday.
The AP-KN poll has tracked a group of people and their views since the beginning of the 2008 presidential campaign. Among all 2008 voters, 51 percent say he deserves to be defeated in November 2012 while 47 percent support his re-election _ essentially a tie.
Among Democrats, 47 percent say Obama should be challenged for the 2012 nomination and 51 percent say he should not be opposed. Those favoring a contest include most who backed Hillary Rodham Clinton’s unsuccessful faceoff against Obama for the 2008 nomination. The poll did not ask if Democrats would support particular challengers.
It is not a sign of strengthfor Barack Obama that many Democrats ran against his policies and agenda in the 2010 midterm elections. The only reason why Democrat Joe Manchin has a chance in the WV Senate race is because he takes a shot at Obama’s Cap & Trade policy, literally. Nor is it a good thing that former President Bill Clinton has a higher approval rating and was a greater draw for Democrat candidates. Is Hillary Clinton waiting in the winds for a 2012 run? Here are some more bits of polling data that show how Obama has fallen from grace.
- Of those who said right after the 2008 election that they had a favorable opinion of Obama, nearly one-quarter now view him negatively.
- Sixty-one percent of Democrats who said in spring 2008 that they were backing Clinton now say Obama should face an opponent for the party’s nomination.
- More than 1 in 4 who said in October 2008 that Obama understands the problems of ordinary Americans now say he doesn’t. The same is true for those who said he is innovative, cares about people like them and shares their values.

Crist an Independent … Hardly …Bill Clinton Asked Democrat Meek to Quit Senate Run in Florida? Meek’s Says No
Democrat Primary elected candidates, back room Democrat deals and so-called Charlie Crist, OH MY!!!
If you ever wanted to know why Americans are disgusted with politics and politicians … you need to look no further than the shenanigans and corrupt back room conversations and deals going on in the Florida US Senate race between Democrats and the Crist campaign. If Democrats get their way, they will have an individual in Charlie Crist become US Senator of Florida having never won a Republican or Democrat primary. With the Democrats actions, who really thinks Crist is independent? Come on Florida … Crist is beholden to the Democrat party … WAKE UP!!!
Did former Democrat President try and interfere in the US Senate race in Florida and ask Democrat Kendrick Meek to withdraw from the race to provide an advantage to so-called independent Charlie Crist? According to the Politico, Clinton did. At all costs the Democrats are looking to winthe Florida US Senate seat, even if it means throwing a fellow Democrat under the bus. Democrats will do anything to maintain power … that is what this about America … not WE THE PEOPLE, not your votes, but what back room deals they can do, usurp the process and maintain power.
Bill Clinton sought to persuade Rep. Kendrick Meek to drop out of the race for Senate during a trip to Florida last week — and nearly succeeded.

Dems in Serious Trouble: Van Tran (R) Pulls Even with Loretta Sanchez (D) in CA-47 US House Race
Anyone wondering why pretty much all reasonable political pundits are stating that there will be a change of guards in the US House of Representatives after the 2010 midterm elections?
Van Tran for US House CA-47 …
From Town Hall.com comes the following startlingpoll in the CA-47 House race between Republican Van Tran and Democrat incumbent Loretta Sanchez. A district that Obama carried by 22% in the 2008 Presidential election is now a toss up in 2010 and the Democrats saviour and now statesman Bill Clinton was called in to salvage the seat. This race is just one of many examples across the United States as to just how much trouble Democrats are in this election cycle.
Van Tran is tied with Loretta Sanchez on the ballot test. Fully 39% of likely voters say they are supporting Van Tran, while 39% are backing Sanchez and 5% siding with Ceci Iglesias (17% undecided). Moreover, Tran’s definite support level is higher than that of Congresswoman Sanchez (30% definitely voting for Tran – 28% definitely voting for Sanchez).
- While there are certainly solid ethnic coalitions in this race – Asian and Vietnamese voters siding with Tran, Latinos favoring Sanchez – Tran enjoys a commanding 34-point lead with White voters in the district (60% Tran – 26% Sanchez).
- Van Tran also polls strongly with Independent voters (42% Tran – 28% Sanchez) and older voters (50% Tran – 30% Sanchez) – two groups that are likely going to determine the victor here.
- Van Tran has a commanding 22-point lead over Sanchez (52% – 30%) among voters who say they are “extremely interested” in the upcoming elections (rate their interest a “10”on a one-to-ten scale). Among a broader high interest segment of the electorate – the “8-10s” – Tran is up eight points (44% – 38%).

Quinnipiac University Poll: Any Unnamed Republican Beats Barack Obama in 2012 Presidental Election
RUT-ROH … The wheels have come off the Obama bus.
In a recent Quinnipiac University Poll, by a 39% to 36% margins … any unnamed Republican beats President Barack Hussein Obama in the 2012 Presidential election. Barack Obama is a sinking ship of miscalculations, a failed liberal agenda and a lack of leadership. How will Democrats running for election this November deal with a sinking President? Maybe the Democrats will have Bill Clinton campaign for them instead while Obama goes on another extended vacation. After all, Clinton is more popular than Obama these days. This news must play well in the White House as the “Chosen One” does not appear to be chosen at all these days. Can you say Hillary in 2012?
A year after President Barack Obama’s political honeymoon ended, his job approval rating has dropped to a negative 44 – 48 percent, his worst net score ever, and American voters say by a narrow 39 – 36 percent margin that they would vote for an unnamed Republican rather than President Obama in 2012, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.
This compares to a 48 – 43 percent approval for Obama in a May 26 national poll by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University and a 57 – 33 percent approval last July, just before the political firestorm created by opposition to his health care plan galvanized political opponents and turned independent voters against him.
Obama has proved to be the exact opposite of that what he claimed he was during the 2008 Presidential campaign. Candidate Obama promised “change we can believe in,” a post-partisan, problem-solving presidency that would heal the nation’s yawning political divide. The reality is that Barack Obama has been the most partisan President ever, coupled with no decision making or leadership skills.
Obama’s poll numbers continue to fall as poll after poll after poll have Obama’s job approval rating in the negative. Obama’s handling of health care, the economy, the deficits and illegal immigration have made the independent vote run as fast and as far away from The Obamaessiah as possible. Real Clear Politics average polling has Obama’s job approval now in negative numbers.
