Steve Yuhas Blames Beth Twitty and Dave Holloway for Natalee’s Disappearance

Never has it been made more apparent than some people should be seen and not heard, than the nonsensical ramblings of Radio Talk Show host Steve Yuhas. Today this defender of criminals wrote the following article, Twitty & Holloway vs. van Der Slot — Who is really to Blame for Natalee’s Disappearance“? This so called informed Talk show host makes the following statements who only looked to stir the pot, even if it meant at the expense of a person who is most likely dead. What I fine upstanding human being you are.

We all know about Natalee Holloway: adult female from middle class Alabama flies to Aruba to drink and party as an adult because it was not legal to do it in America on a senior trip. She leaves a bar with some men she does not know and is never seen again. Beth Twitty vows never to leave Aruba (she left) until she finds her daughter and since the boycott did not work and they can’t get much face time on television Beth Twitty and Dave Holloway have decided to file suit and seek money instead of finding their daughter.

Listen to Audio of Steve Yuhas radio interview today and the absolute nonsense this man speaks from. Steve, just a word to the wise seeing that you are so far intellectually superior than all of us. His name is Jug Twitty, he is Natalee’s stepfather. Dave Holloway is Natalee’s biological father. But I guess a guy like you that is so well informed and has followed this case from the beginning as you state would know that. However, from your interview does not seem like you have that fact correct.

This is a case about an adult woman who made bad decisions while she was partying in a foreign country. This is a case about a family that sent their admittedly naive daughter to a foreign country and did not teach her that getting into cars or going to the beach with strangers could be dangerous. This has become a case about money because the family of Natalee Holloway cannot do anything else.

Don’t you miss the media set ups that Beth orchestrated by chasing her own suspects down at their jobs with cameras following? What happened to the boycott that the misguided (and obviously ignored) governors of Alabama and Arkansas endorsed?

It is sad that someone like Steve Yuhas, who seems so overwhelmed by hate and rage would make such idiots and callous comments. A man who has never lost a child has so much knowledge, caring and empathy for those that have. What makes you so bitter Steve? The fact that maybe no one would care if you went missing?

One needs to look no further than to see what drives Yuhas’ venom and anger. When people don’t agree with someone and what they are doing is so easy to call them stupid and say they are only in it for the money. As if you would have a clue Yuh as. I am glad that you think you are so far superior than those who live in Alabama as you have no problem insinuating they are stupid. I guess we could not expect any less from such a small individual.

It all flopped so now the Twitty — Holloway clan is looking for Euros instead of Natalee. What a change from last year.

The idea that the Dutch citizens would even show up for a civil trial in America to face the parasites from Alabama is unlikely and comical and since Natalee’s life was not worth very much (according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics about $1 million for 40 years of work) — it hardly seems worth the trouble for 838,000 Euro (I hope they understand what a Euro is in Alabama).

Here is the smug, idiotic comment that Steve Yuhas makes blaming the family for Natalee not being in college.

But for the Twitty and Holloway families Natalee would be in college today. The van der Sloot’s did not pay for Natalee to go to Aruba and they did not invite her.

(Steve Yuhas column)

Steve Yuhas do you blame a family of a child that is allowed to go to NYC who gets killed? God forbid you blame the criminals of a crime. Steve, guns don’t kill people. The people who fire the guns kill people.

The idea that an individual would be so flip about a human life that was most certainly taken and blame the family is just beyond words. The fact that Steve will never be able to experience such a loss I guess makes it OK for him to say anything.

I reserve the following words for so few individuals. I will have to agree with the two that interviewed Yuh asYuh as today, IDIOT.

Beth Twitty to Speak at Ball State University; Staying safe on Spring Break. (Save Yourself program)

With Spring Break 2006 fast coming upon us there is a hope that college and high Beth ALschoolers use common sense, stay safe and learn from others past tragic events. Next month Beth Twitty, the mother of Natalee Holloway missing in Aruba, will speak to Ball State University and Wapahani High School students. Students should enjoy themselves on Spring Break, but they should also stay aware and safe.

Twitty’s “Save Yourself” program will be sponsored locally by Delaware County Sheriff George Sheridan and his department.

“I wanted to get her in just before everybody goes on spring break,” Sheridan said.

Sheridan has also invited students from Taylor, Indiana Wesleyan and Anderson universities and anyone else in the community who wants to attend.

Twitty will speak at 5 p.m. March 2 at the Ball State University student center and at 2 p.m. March 3 at Wapahani. Holloway3

Both events are free to the public.

Beth Twitty’s comments and her “Save Yourself” program focuses on how students can protect themselves when on vacation in third world countries where the laws are do drastically different from the US and the corruption exists. People need to understand the risks that exist and it is not as simple as going to a vacation resort in the United States.

Much of her program focuses on how young people can protect themselves from predators in foreign vacation destinations and how to deal with local law enforcement, Sheridan said.

“A lot of these places are third-world countries,” Sheridan said. “So there’s a lot of corruption involved.”

Twitty will also talk briefly about the investigation into her daughter’s disappearance.

Beth Twitty has made this her cause in life as she searches for answers and for her daughter. One of the legacies of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba will be that other individuals like Natalee will be better informed before they set off on vacations outside the US. For those in Aruba that think the Natalee Holloway story is just going to go away, many thought the same of Adam Walsh. Beth Twitty will champion the cause of informing high school teenagers and college students on the dangers that exist in foreign countries when they go to vacation. During every speech at a high school or college the name of Natalee Holloway and Aruba will be mentioned.

During every speech that Beth Twitty does to help a family of another missing person the face of Natalee Holloway and visual of Aruba will be seen. Beth Twitty is not and will never give up until she gets answers as to the disappearance of her daughter. In the process Aruba will never be out of the limelight as to what occurred. Aruba, this isn’t going away and neither is Beth Twitty.

Natalee Holloway’s Parents Sue Van der Sloots

The surprise law suit by the parents of Natalee Holloway has in many respects altered the dynamics of the Natalee Holloway investigation. For the first time in a long time the Van der Sloots have been put on the defensive.  What was supposed to be a media event by the Van der Sloots on ABC TV ironically enough became one that they were center stage in that they did not plan on. Joran Van der Sloot and his parents were served yesterday in New York City.

In documents filed with the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Joran van der Sloot, a Dutch national, is accused of “malicious, wanton and willful disregard of the rights, safety and well-being of the plaintiffs and their daughter, Natalee Holloway.”

As per CNN, the 16 page law suit makes its case with a mixture of fact and supposition, using a dramatic opening paragraph:

“This is a case about a high-school graduation trip to a tropical paradise that turned to tragedy. The trip was an opportunity for a group of young people to celebrate the end of one phase of their lives and the beginning of another. But for one young woman on that ill-fated trip, paradise it was not. For that young woman, Natalee Holloway, the trip was a brutal contrast to a life full of promise and hope.”

The Van der Sloots were in NYC to do a TV interview with ABC. They had been tracked by a PI team and served simultaneously after they had arrived in New York.

A private detective hired by Holloway’s parents was monitoring their movement and arranged that they be served with the court documents on arrival in the US.

A rather bizarre set of circumstances as they Van der Sloots received much publicity in the media due to this lawsuit. Attention, I am sure they did not intend. It has been reported that the attorney of Joran Van der Sloot, Antonio Carlo, was not thrilled about this trip to New York City. I guess we can now see why.

Joran is represented by lawyer Antonio Carlo, who is also Paulus van der Sloot’s boss on Aruba. Carlo indicated he was not happy about Joran’s trip to America for the ABC interview. “I’m on Aruba, you can draw your own conclusions,” he said. (Expatica)

The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan’s state Supreme Court, seeks unspecified money damages against Joran van der Sloot and his father. There were 3 counts against Joran Van der Sloot and one against his parents, Paul and Anita.

(AP) Referring to van der Sloot as “the predator,” the lawsuit says that on at least three occasions young Aruban women have complained they were the victims of “date rape” by him and his accomplices.

VDS Lawsuit Allegation #4

(AP) The lawsuit says the father, Paulus van der Sloot, was an enabler of his son’s “violent and anti-social lifestyle.” Court papers say that on the night of May 29, 2005, he went with his underage son to a casino to play poker. It was at that casino that the younger van der Sloot met Holloway, the lawsuit says.

According to the court documents they present a partly speculative version of what occurred the night that was the last that Natalee Holloway was ever seen.

“The next hours of Natalee’s young life were marked by torment, terror and debasement,” court papers say, describing an imagined sexual assault. “Natalee has not been seen or heard from since entering Deepak’s car with Joran.”
