DACA RESCINDED … TRUMP GIVES CONGRESS 6 MONTHS TO ACT AND DO THEIR JOB.

Yesterday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions did his job and correctly rescinded the DACA program. No matter how you feel about the DACA program and so called “Dreamers,” DACA was was Unconstitutional. The United States is a country of laws and if we have presidents who flaunt the Constitution, as Barack Obama did, what is the point. If Trump did not end DACA, it would have been in the courts, as the executive branch does not have the right to bypass the legislative branch and make laws. Obama knew this, and even said so when president, then turned around and created DACA. Democrats and the LEFT can try and play politics with this, as they usually do, but in reality, Trump did the smart thing. Trump eliminated an Unconstitutional program and forwarded it to the U.S. Congress where such laws are supposed to be created. In is now on Congress to do their job.

This policy was implemented unilaterally to great controversy and legal concern after Congress rejected legislative proposals to extend similar benefits on numerous occasions to this same group of illegal aliens.

In other words, the executive branch, through DACA, deliberately sought to achieve what the legislative branch specifically refused to authorize on multiple occasions. Such an open-ended circumvention of immigration laws was an unconstitutional exercise of authority by the Executive Branch.

As the Attorney General, it is my duty to ensure that the laws of the United States are enforced and that the Constitutional order is upheld.

In June of 2012, President Obama bypassed Congress to give work permits, social security numbers, and federal benefits to approximately 800,000 illegal immigrants currently between the ages of 15 and 36.  The typical recipients of this executive amnesty, known as DACA, are in their twenties.  Legislation offering these same benefits had been introduced in Congress on numerous occasions and rejected each time.

In referencing the idea of creating new immigration rules unilaterally, President Obama admitted that “I can’t just do these things by myself” – and yet that is exactly what he did, making an end-run around Congress and violating the core tenets that sustain our Republic.

Officials from 10 States are suing over the program, requiring my Administration to make a decision regarding its legality. The Attorney General of the United States, the Attorneys General of many states, and virtually all other top legal experts have advised that the program is unlawful and unconstitutional and cannot be successfully defended in court.

There can be no path to principled immigration reform if the executive branch is able to rewrite or nullify federal laws at will.

The temporary implementation of DACA by the Obama Administration, after Congress repeatedly rejected this amnesty-first approach, also helped spur a humanitarian crisis – the massive surge of unaccompanied minors from Central America including, in some cases, young people who would become members of violent gangs throughout our country, such as MS-13.

Only by the reliable enforcement of immigration law can we produce safe communities, a robust middle class, and economic fairness for all Americans.

Therefore, in the best interests of our country, and in keeping with the obligations of my office, the Department of Homeland Security will begin an orderly transition and wind-down of DACA, one that provides minimum disruption.  While new applications for work permits will not be accepted, all existing work permits will be honored until their date of expiration up to two full years from today.  Furthermore, applications already in the pipeline will be processed, as will renewal applications for those facing near-term expiration.  This is a gradual process, not a sudden phase out.  Permits will not begin to expire for another six months, and will remain active for up to 24 months.  Thus, in effect, I am not going to just cut DACA off, but rather provide a window of opportunity for Congress to finally act.

As reported at The Politico, in 2014, the Barack Obama administration got a report of Russia’s intention to disrupt Western democracies, including the United States. So why would the Obama administration act so surprised when Russians did try to disrupt the elections? They knew all along and did nothing. Yet, you will hear from the Obama sycophants and apologists that they did. Hmm, how did that work out? They didn’t seem to want to make waves because Hillary Clinton was going to win. Then, Trump stuns her in the 2016 presidential election and all of the Russian conspiracy and collusion is pointed at him. Yet it was under Obama, that nothing was done to prevent such interference. Where was the transparency in all this? It was just another example of failure during the eight years of Barack Obama.

The Obama administration received multiple warnings from national security officials between 2014 and 2016 that the Kremlin was ramping up its intelligence operations and building disinformation networks it could use to disrupt the U.S. political system, according to more than half a dozen current and former officials.

As early as 2014, the administration received a report that quoted a well-connected Russian source as saying that the Kremlin was building a disinformation arm that could be used to interfere in Western democracies. The report, according to an official familiar with it, included a quote from the Russian source telling U.S. officials in Moscow, “You have no idea how extensive these networks are in Europe … and in the U.S., Russia has penetrated media organizations, lobbying firms, political parties, governments and militaries in all of these places.”

That report was circulated among the National Security Council, intelligence agencies, and the State Department via secure email and cable in the spring of 2014 as part of a larger assessment of Russian intentions in Ukraine, the official said.

There was no explicit warning of a threat to U.S. elections, but the official said some diplomats and national-security officials in Moscow felt the administration was too quick to dismiss the possibility that the Kremlin incursions could reach the United States.

Ned Price, a former spokesperson for the National Security Council, rejected the idea that the administration failed to heed warnings about Russian interference in the U.S. political system or Russian cyberespionage in general.

“The Obama administration was nothing but proactive in responding to Russian aggression in all of its forms, especially as Moscow became more brazen with and following its military moves against Ukraine beginning in 2014,” Price said, citing sanctions and increased American support to NATO as evidence of the former administration’s seriousness.

But subsequent events — including Russia’s interference in the American election through hacks of the emails of the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, among other intrusions identified by U.S. intelligence — have left many in the former administration wondering if they could have done more.

“People have criticized us … for not coming out more forcefully and saying it,” former CIA Director John Brennan said at the Aspen National Forum in July. “There was no playbook for this.”

It all goes back to President Obama’s meeting with outgoing Russian President Medevev when he was caught on an open mike stating of his ability to deal with relations between the U.S. and Russia, saying he would have more flexibility after the election. Who was colluding with Russia?

The Democrat party is without a leader and has no face and they think Obama is going to come back into the light and not suck up all of the oxygen? REALLY? During the eight years of Obama, Democrats lost the House, the Senate, Governorships and thousands of State legislatures. The only one who made out during the reign of Obama was Obama. Now, the former Narcissist in Chief is set to return because he just can’t go about his life like normal presidents before him. This is what a community agitator does. Sorry Dems, this is not a good thing. Democrats need to move on and find the new face and future of the party. Sadly, they are stuck in the past with no bench because their leaders have refused to let this happen.

One aide describes the beginning of a “delicate dance” that aims to put Obama in the Democratic fray, but prevent him from remaining the face of the party.

Aides will huddle with Obama in the coming weeks to plot out what shape the former president’s fall schedule will take. Advisers close to him say that while he will play an active role in helping his party rebuild, much of his work will be behind the scenes.

He is likely to take on fundraising, for example, something he has done for the Democratic National Committee and the National Democratic Redistricting Committee since leaving office.

In recent months, Obama has played a larger behind the scenes role than was publicly known.

‘Barack Obama Day’ in Illinois to Celebrate the Obamamessiah’s Accomplishments … Um, Like What?

August 4th in Illinois will now be known as “Barack Obama Day.” Imagine that. Just as Barack Obama was provided a Nobel Peace Prize having accomplished nothing to deserve  it, the Obamamessiah is now being given his own state holiday in Illinois. It was stated that the “day set apart to honor the 44th President of the United States of America who began his career serving the People of Illinois in both the Illinois State Senate and the United States Senate, and dedicated his life to protecting the rights of Americans and building bridges across communities.”Seriously? What exactly did he do for the American people, Obamacare? As Red State opines, Barack Obama Day will be like “Festivus.” Has there ever been a president who has done less, who has had for fan fare than Obama?

And his signature piece of legislation, Obamacare, was nothing more than an intentional lie and failure. Obama escalated the National debt to unsustainable limits. He left the Middle East a powder keg, as Syria and Libya fell into disarray. Let us not forget the Iranian nuclear deal. A day of celebration? What’s next, a National holiday, Mount Rushmore?

Former President Barack Obama got a special treat for his birthday this year – his very own holiday.

Governor Bruce Rauner signed into law Friday a measure to designate Aug. 4 as “Barack Obama Day” across Illinois.

The newest state holiday will be celebrated each year on the 44th president’s birthday, beginning in 2018.

The holiday will be “observed throughout the State as a day set apart to honor the 44th President of the United States of America who began his career serving the People of Illinois in both the Illinois State Senate and the United States Senate, and dedicated his life to protecting the rights of Americans and building bridges across communities,” Senate Bill 55 reads.

While several lawmakers abstained from voting on the measure, it passed both houses earlier this year without a single vote against.

Honestly, what did Barack Obama do for Illinois? Other than being the first black president, where instead of bringing America together like a Nelson Mandella, he decided to fragment it even further. Don’t ask the people of Chicago about the accomplishments of Obama. Chicago was ignored by Obama and became a “killing field” during the 8 years of Barack. Nearly 4,000 people have been murdered in President Barack Obama’s adopted city during his presidency.

To some Chicago community organizers and activists — the very role in which Obama sowed his own political seeds — the president’s track record is more mixed.

They laud the president and First Lady Michelle Obama for setting an example as role models for young African-Americans, but lament that Obama didn’t do more to tip the scales of inequality they see in city schools that lack proper resources and in Chicago neighborhoods void of economic opportunity.

“I think Barack Obama has ignored the black community for eight years, and now he’s coming to take a bow in Chicago while our neighborhoods are suffering from disinvestment and soaring unemployment,” said Ja’Mal Green, who rose to Chicago prominence among a group of young activists who decried police misconduct following the release of the Laquan McDonald police shooting video.

“We are seeing young black men getting gunned down at a horrific rate,” Green said, “and he has shown no willingness to seriously address these issues.”

Why Isn’t the MSM Covering the Damning Fusion GPS Senate Hearings … William Browder: Fusion GPS Was Acting on Behalf of Russia

IT WOULD APPEAR THE FUSION GPS HEARINGS DESTROY THE DEMOCRAT AND MSM AGENDA OF RUSSIA BACKING TRUMP …

Because the liberal MSM will not cover this story, listen to it here. Fusion GPS was an organization that was colluding with the Democrat party that hired a former British spy to go and try and find dirt on candidate Donald Trump.  The “dossier” came out of all this. In the end, the Russians were backing Fusion GPS of which the dossier came from that was hardly flattering to Trump and looked to undermine him. This hardly seems like the actions of a cozy relationship between Russian and Trump as the MSM and Democrats have been lying about and trying to divert the attention of the American people and obstruct the Trump presidency.

According to Sen. Linsey Graham, the Russians were backing Fusion GPS of which the dossier came from that was hardly flattering to Trump and looked to undermine him.

Senate Democrats used a parliamentary rule Wednesday to cut short a hearing before a witness with new information could give damning testimony against Fusion GPS. Bill Browder, the CEO and co-founder of Hermitage Capital, was set to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee about the shadowy firm being hired to conduct “smear campaigns.”

Funded by Democrats, Fusion GPS hired former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele to gather opposition research against then-Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump. The result was the Kremlin-sourced discredited Trump dossier, which Democrats widely circulated knowing it contained discredited information.
