The Obama administration has transferred four Uighurs to Bermuda, this will do wonders for 
their tourism. Come to Bermuda, visit our beaches, play golf and meet our terrorists. The Obama Administrations plays NIMBY. Gitmo not good, US not good, but some how Bermuda is a perfect spot for resettled terror detainees. Approximately 650 miles from the US shore. What, Aruba would not take them?

The Obama administration has all but abandoned plans to allow Guantanamo Bay detainees who have been cleared for release to live in the United States. I am sure our allies in the war on terror will appreciate this flip flop on the part of Barack Obama.
So, who are Bermuda’s new residents? And why would the Obama administration place travel restrictions on them?
Terrorists in Paradise
All four of them are members or associates of the Eastern Turkistan Islamic Movement (otherwise known as the Turkistan Islamic Party). The ETIM/TIP is a U.S. and UN designated terrorist organization affiliated with al Qaeda and has attacked civilians in China, as well as reportedly plotted against other targets elsewhere, including the U.S. embassy in Kyrgyzstan. According to the State Department, ETIM/TIP members have also fought alongside the Taliban and al Qaeda in Afghanistan. And last year the organization threatened to attack the Olympic Games in China.
The four Uighurs attempted to deny any relationship with the ETIM/TIP, the Taliban, and al Qaeda during their CSRTs. But their denials are not credible. In the context of their denials they made important admissions.
But wait, Obama has put travel restrictions on these new Bermuda residents. If these individuals are not dangerous, why would they be given travel restrictions? And does anyone really think a terrorist is going to ask permission of the US before they come to America and bomb us? Seriously, how is one cleared of charges, not considered a threat to the United States and have travel restrictions placed on them? Nice mixed message Barack. In essence, it basically means they are not trusted and are considered a threat.
The Obama administration put out some seemingly mixed messages on the Uighur transfer, saying that their release to Bermuda would make the US safer, while insisting the government would guard against their travel to the US.
An Obama administration source told ABC News that “the Uighurs will not be able to travel to the United States unless the U.S. government consents in advance.”
Read the following amazing statement for AG Holder. Imagine if this same premise was used with a child sex offender, murderer or rapist? Let’s close the mean prison because it represents a bad image to child rapists and relocated them to an island close to Disney World. However, the sex offender needs permission to travel to Disney World in advance. Obama doing everything to close GITMO, even if it means endangering America.
Attorney General Eric Holder said in a statement that “by helping accomplish the President’s objective of closing Guantanamo, the transfer of these detainees will make America safer. We are extremely grateful to the government of Bermuda for its assistance in the successful resettlement of these four detainees, and we commend the leadership they have demonstrated on this important issue.”
So what is the result of The Chosen One’s reversal of policy and decision to send Uighurs to Bermuda? Britain, our ally is furious. It would seem that Obama did not consult with the Brits. Who is the cowboy now?

But it appears that the Government of Bermuda failed to consult with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on the decision to take in the Uighurs – whose return is demanded by Beijing – and it could now be forced to send them back to Cuba or risk a grave diplomatic crisis.
Exit Question: What will happen and who will be held responsible if one of these “cleared” detainees attacks America?

Hey obongo why are the gas prices going up so much ??? Are you getting a cut of the profits ??? Oil is up $5.00 a barrel and gas is up $1.00 a gallon does that mean they only get 5 gallons of gas from 1 barrel of oil ???

As for your math question, don’t try to use free market arithmetic to solve a collectivist/proletariet equation. Like my brother in Kenya, neither works.
Bermuda has had one young woman murdered and no one went to jail. What do they want, two or three more. That should help tourism.
This is an outrage.We should have kept these muslin a-holes locked up and executed them.Who cares if there was evidence or not.These are Terrorists otherwise they wouldnt have been in Afghanistan.Barack Hussein Obama is a marxist communist closet Muslin that is destroying America.
Uighurs are a Chinese minority group persecuted by the government. A bunch of them went to Afghanistan to escape that persecution. Then: whoops! 9/11! So America invaded. And America did things like pay Pakistani bounty hunters to round up random people who may or may not be dangerous terrorists, so we could ship them to our illegal off-shore prison, in Cuba. And that is what happened to our Uighur friends. A couple years later, the US determined that these were just some guys who hadn’t done anything. And four years after that it was decided that maybe they shouldn’t have to be in our military prison anymore, if they hadn’t done anything.
So here’s where we run into a problem: we cannot send them back to China, because they will be tortured and executed. We cannot send them to America, because America is scared of people it wrongfully imprisoned for years without cause or due process. We cannot send them to some random other country, because who would want them? What a pickle!
Well it turned out that we could just send a couple of them to Bermuda, a little island inhabited by tropical drink umbrella peddlers and cruise ships. Now Bermuda is a “dependency” of the UK but the UK’s mild objections to this little relocation are basically unimportant.
You should read the British Press. Our Fearless Leader dumped them on them without notification for the UK. This is a British protectorate. Great way to deal with our friends, makes them feel like the US citizens now without Law..JS
Well now O has not only snubbed the French, he has insulted the Brit’s!! Don’t the Brit’s have anything to say, can’t they deport these terrorists back to Gitmo or better yet, to China?

Well as an Aussie….nothing surprises me with Obama, after all the media played him as the saviour of the US, yet funny how the Aussie media uncovered the FULL story of his visit to indonesia & Wife who made such a fuss at the muslim’s schools.
Anybody especially Obama can say I am not a muslim, as after all it goes better to say one is not. And stranger how the US media hushed up over the full report on Obama’s visit to indonesia. Which is well know to Aussie’s – that country has the great hatred towards western values, we have not forgotten the Bali bombings.
I think that in time the world is going to see the real Obama & the maybe those US citizens that voted for him will then cringe.

The truth will eventually come out, as it already is starting to…everyone who thinks they are so clever for drinking the obama kool-aid is going to have one rude awakening after another. Or maybe they agree with doing all of those things. If the men are innocent, why not let them move in next door to the white house? If they are innocent, why would brittain be pissed?(not ‘drunk’, the american type of pissed) If they are not innocent, why are we giving them a vacation that the rest of us can’t afford?
