Earth to Democrats … As President you Represent all the People, Not the Liberals & Networks that Agree with You

Yet another reason why to never vote for a Democrat to be President … No_Donkeys

One has to really wonder about any of the Democratic candidates seeking the office of the President of the United States. How cowardice and gutless could a collective group of Democrats be but to only debate on liberal networks like CNN, MSNBC/NBC and CBS. Isn’t that rather convenient? Or one might say even more pathetic.

The Democratic National Committee has officially announced “the dates, media sponsors and cities for the six DNC sanctioned debates.”

CNN and NBC get two and ABC and CBS get one each. Fox News isn’t included. Here’s the list:

  • July 23, 2007: YouTube/Google and CNN in Charleston, SC
  • August 19, 2007: ABC in Des Moines, IA
  • September 26, 2007: NBC News/MSNBC in Hanover, NH
  • October 30, 2007: NBC News/MSNBC in Philadelphia, PA
  • November 15, 2007: CNN in Las Vegas, NV
  • December 10, 2007: CBS in Los Angeles, CA

Clinton_obama

Individuals like Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards and alike would dare ask for this countries collective  vote, yet actually be too scared to debate on Fox News.   Instead they only debate on a user friendly network. Presidential candidates  scared to debate on a network where the Democrats are afraid they may be asked too difficult a question. By default all of these Democratic candidates are too gutless to hold the office of the President of the United States. A President does not just govern one parties people, he/she governs them all.

How is it that Republicans have no problem having their debates on the liberal alphabet Keith Olbermann cartoonnetworks, most recently MSNBC. Think of the folly, Democrats afraid of the big, bad wolf “FOX News”,yet Republicans had to put up with uber-libs  Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann.    However, Democrats flee like rats off a ship from a debate hosted by Fox. What a sad and pathetic state of affairs when one is too afraid to debate and answer difficult questions. If a candidate cannot even consider facing difficult questions against what is perceived to be a hostile network, one certainly should never even contemplate running for President. Being the leader of the free world hardly means having softballs thrown at you in a post 9-11 world. As Wizbang states, “And we’re supposed to trust these guys to protect us from Islamofascism? Right. The Democrats are a complete joke”.

The Democrats and the MSM liberal networks can comment all they want about President Bush’s 33% approval rating; however, the Democratically controlled Congress’ approval rating is at 29%.

Dem_house-senate

Even though Democrats now control both houses of Congress, the poll shows that only 37% of Democrats approve of the job Congress is doing right now.

The Democrats are spoiled like rotten kids, and the Republicans are invited to sleep on Pelosi_Reida bed of nails — and do so willingly”.

Keep up the great work Dems, 2008 is right around the corner and the electorate can once again right the wrong they made in 2006 due to the lies they were fed by Democratic leaders and place Dems back into the minority. If a party is not willing to even face difficult questions, they certainly should never be given the responsibility of majority leadership of a country, let alone the Presidency.

Wow, who writes these things? You know, if you take Zoloft you’ll feel a lot better. And calmer. Someone is wound *way* too tight. :-) Anyway the Democrats, of whom I am a proud member and have been since I first voted, for McGovern, don’t want a debate on Fox News because it’s a joke. We don’t call it Faux News for nothing. What in the world happened to it? Did it become that way after Dumbass became Pres? I watch it every so often just to see what those idiots are up too and it never fails to entertain me. The way Dumbo and his crew are going, I wouldn’t hold my breath for a Repug victory in ’08.

      _______

SM: No actually you would be considered the joke.

Oh yea, cuz MSNBC is the height of news. Forgive me for going into a coughing fit.

    2. katablog on May 17th, 2007 10:55 am

SM right on again. But then, remember, it’s the same party that yesterday tried to cut off the Republicans from even participating in Congress.

You see the Democrats don’t like dissent. They want to rid the world of everyone who might call attention to their lies. The Democrats see the American public as “too dumb” to handle the truth. Remember the closed sessions while Hillary tried to work out “health care” for us?

We are all suppose to shut up and act like good little children while the Democrats decide what’s best for us. I’m willing to bet they’d like to simply take the vote process away from us because after all, in their minds we aint’ smart enough.

It’s also why they want to shut Fox News and Rush Limbaugh up. They both have too much of a track record of providing us details and allowing us to make up our own minds.

    3. mojo on May 17th, 2007 11:34 am

      and that’s why it’s called faux :)

    4. Richard on May 17th, 2007 12:00 pm

Debates used to mean something. Now they’re a totally artificial exercise, I believe. For this reason, ignore the whole media-contrived Super Bowl of politics and TV and just vote (and DO vote!) according to your perception of news, issues, and competence.

    5. Joanne on May 17th, 2007 12:14 pm

      Great God in Heaven.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that someone who trumpets Jossy (“We believe we have located material that resembles human matter”) Mansur as a credible source buys the republican point of view hook line and sinker.

    6. driving miss daisy on May 17th, 2007 12:31 pm

Watch this closely. This is going to allow each candidate his/her own venue at Fox. One will agree to go on either O’Reilly or Greta and answer any and all questions and spend the whole hour pontificating. The others will follow suit and this is just a coup to do and say what they want on Fox.

    7. driving miss daisy on May 17th, 2007 12:46 pm

Hillary still smarting from the Britt Smackdown during the sinkmeister’s term, when Britt Hume called him on a nomination to the Supreme Court of a totally unqualified candidate, who was totally anti-American, friend of Hill.

    8. driving miss daisy on May 17th, 2007 12:48 pm

Don’t the Democrats have their own venue paid for by Soros and the other commies, or do you have to invade everything and take it over like your heroes, the commie boys Chavez and Castro and Soros. Yes, it’s called Democrat underground where all the sleaze who refuse to work and consume what the hardworking amongst us pay for. Crawl back in your underground hiney hole.

    9. super dave on May 17th, 2007 12:56 pm

the republicans want to unite to defeat the democrats ! is that all that is on their agenda ? what about all the other problems confronting this world. democrat or republican they are all politicians and can all be grouped in the same category. republicans are quick to jump into another country’s business but will not take care of their own.
it’s become a jealousy battle between the two parties while our own country suffers in many ways. we are at the bottom rung of the ladder in healthcare for our citizens .
this is too great a country for this to be happening at the hands of a bunch of bickering politicians.

    10. Brenda on May 17th, 2007 1:36 pm

Sue Morris..you are a typical liberal. Fox news is the only way to get HONEST reporting. This is why libs like you do not like it. Soooo funny. You are simply another socialist enemy of our county.

Oh yes, and in PERFECT liberal format, you suggest we take a pill! What else would a socialist want to see a thinking person do…dumb themselves down to your level.

      Brenda

    11. Voice of Reason on May 17th, 2007 2:56 pm

All of this is a joke. Democrats, Republicans, who cares. You think any of them is on your side? Does it really matter? Bush is a moronic president, and the people helping him have proven to not be better. Doesnt matter what party he is, he messed up (and yet we voted him in again). Who cares who the prez is, or who’s in control, they all help some and not others. Is it really worth wasting space (ok, so maybe I am too) talking about it? Republicans bashing Liberals and vice versa is done by closed-minded people. No reason to be stuck on one “side”. Why am I still here. People will never learn. SM, surprised you waste time on this. Bashing liberals? Do you really think people with liberal ideas are bad, and conservatives are gods?

    12. nurturer on May 17th, 2007 3:13 pm

      # 1 just made Bill O’Reilly’s point. How the liberals always resort to name calling when they cannot articulate a point.

    13. xertial on May 17th, 2007 3:28 pm

Perhaps cowardice might be just a spin used to explain Fox’s exclusion. Could it not be as simple as a collective strategy for ignoring and/or boycotting a supposed ‘news’ channel that carries a very small perentage of hard news, and carries republican rhetoric and opinions for the balance of its programming???

    14. xertial on May 17th, 2007 3:35 pm

ouch! to #12. Bill O’Reilly actually said that?? I’m not a democrat, but it seems to be a contradiction. I have frequently seen O’Reilly resort to using the term ‘pinhead’ when confronted with disagreement to one of his opinions, rather than presenting logical debate.

    15. Brad on May 17th, 2007 3:49 pm

      Hey Brilliant!
I love it when this happens, an anti Democrat post receives more anti Republican response than anti democrat and that on a predominantly right wing site.
Fox really is the pits guys and you all know it. It is geared to about the mentality level of a redneck pool bar at 3AM on a Saturday morning.
However on a different note, the Natalie Holloway cover here is excellent and regardless of the sites right wing tendencies, a good job is being done on that score.

    16. driving miss daisy on May 17th, 2007 4:18 pm

Voice of Reason, don’t you have a joint burning up while you type?

    17. Voice of Reason on May 17th, 2007 5:12 pm

Could a voice of reason be a pot smoker? ha. I just find it funny how each side bad mouths the other, as if they are right. Like religion. Oh boy, rough territory. Like #15 said, this site does great NH coverage and other issues. It’s ok to discuss politics, surprised they are so one-sided.

If I had a joint I probably couldnt answer the mathematical question to get my post on here. :)

    18. justinsmama on May 17th, 2007 5:36 pm

FOX news has,IMO, demonstrated that they are a station hostile toward Dems/liberals~ particularly Hannity. Even if he were a liberal Democrat, I would not view him, simply because he is rabidly hostile to anyone who does not fall in line with his beliefs. Why would anyone voluntarily place themselves in a hostile environment? Scared? No. Rational decision? Yes. Personally, I’m tired of all the bashing and blaming. America needs to get a clue and start solving our problems instead of demeaning one another.

    19. Scared Monkeys on May 17th, 2007 7:56 pm

Folks, don’t you get the point of this? Seriously.

It does not matter whether you are a Republican, Democrat, Independent, Green, Libertarian, Socialists …

You best be willing and able to debate in any forum, in any medium at any time. Governing is not easy. Being the President of the US is one of the most difficult and stressful jobs ever.

The last thing this country needs is some whining, complaining fool who cant deal with difficult problems, issues or an unfair environment. Do any of these cry-baby Dems think that Fox News is a tougher or more unfair environment then oh… The Middle East???

Republicans for years and present debate on liberal networks that have admitted that 90% of those in MSM are liberal. How is it that Republican candidates debate on CNN, CBS, NSNBC, etc and just do it?

The President represents all the people of the US, not just one party. The minute we get back to that mentality is the minute that we get rid of the Ultra-insane factions of the Parties.

      RED

    20. justinsmama on May 17th, 2007 8:27 pm

FOX news network is not the Middle East. We HAVE to deal with that mess over there. The candidates DO NOT HAVE to deal with FOX. Nothing to do with stress whatsoever. It’s about choosing to not waste one’s time in a futile activity rife designed by the network to be little more than attempts at baiting and arguing for an extreme position. In other words, carefully picking the battles one chooses to fight.

      BTW, 2 + 2 = 4. (; (that’s a wink, LOL)

      #11: Bush is a moronic president…

      Wrong.

George Walker Bush is a hero. He led this country and demanded that America accept no less than “ZERO ATTACKS” on our country after the events of 9/11. He has delivered. And if you were in New York City on September 11, 2001, as I was, then you would happily trade disaster in America for bloody confusion in Iraq. That’s a deal I’ll make any day. And I have the sad benefit of 13 9/11 funerals to ratify it.

He leads a divided country: half awake, and half asleep.

Thanks be to God that the man in charge is awake.

      You still sleepin’?

Sure looks like it to me.

      .

    22. Brad on May 18th, 2007 3:30 am

All due respect, but I think it is fact that Iraq, at least the Sunnis and madman Hussain had nothing whatsoever to do with either El Kaida or 9/11.
However they make a gread scape goat and around 70,000 innocent civilians have paid the price, but what the hell, they are Iraqi’s not Americans, so thats cool eh ?

I forget – is the President in the Executive Branch?

      I can never remember…

…while I am busy ignoring the Constitution, committing war crimes and lying to the American public.
