The Sliming of Herman Cain Begins … Two Women Accused Herman Cain of Inappropriate Behavior & Sexual Harrassment

The following MSM sliming of Herman Cain was not only expected, it was predicted.

The Politico has reported that in the 1990′s Herman Cain was accused by two woman who complained if inappropriate behavior while he was the head of the National Restaurant Association. It is official, the political sliming of Herman Cain has begun. The MSM will do everything possible to destroy a Conservative black man running for office. Let everyone remember that at this point, the story is based on allegations.

During Herman Cain’s tenure as the head of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s, at least two female employees complained to colleagues and senior association officials about inappropriate behavior by Cain, ultimately leaving their jobs at the trade group, multiple sources confirm to POLITICO.

The women complained of sexually suggestive behavior by Cain that made them angry and uncomfortable, the sources said, and they signed agreements with the restaurant group that gave them financial payouts to leave the association. The agreements also included language that bars the women from talking about their departures.

What a shock that the hit piece comes out as Herman Cain edges into the lead for the GOP nomination for 2012.  Herman Cain represents a greater threat to Democrats than Sarah Palin did and look how she and her family were savaged. Cain had previously predicted that he was in for a “high-tech lynching”. Ann Coulter agrees, and stated last night, “It’s outrageous the way liberals treat a black conservative. This is another high-tech lynching” (VIDEO) .

But wouldn’t liberals and Democrats still find a racially-based way to attack Cain?  They certainly found a way to attack Clarence Thomas, the black, conservative Supreme Court justice.

“They’re going to come after me more viciously than they would a white candidate,” Cain responded.  “You’re right.  Clarence Thomas.  And so, to use Clarence Thomas as an example, I’m ready for the same high-tech lynching that he went through — for the good of this country.”  Cain smiled broadly.  “I’m ready for the same high-tech lynching.”

However, the thing is as the Gateway Pundit reminds us, it will not matter whether its Herman Cain or any other GOP candidate, the liberal MSM will make every effort to  destroy them and aid Obama in gaining reelecting the White House.  Imagine if such comments were made of Barack Obama … who ever made them would be called a racist.

Herman Cain fires back at the allegations.

Ahhh..I see those terrified of Cain are stooping as low as I figured they would.

I have to wonder why Bill Clinton’s past sexual behaviors were of no concern to the liberals? Or John Edwards, or Ted Kennedy, or etc., etc.??

Can anyone say Anita Hill or the origin of the term “bjorked”?

and Bill Clinton was a pervert but the losercrats still worshipped him. Clinton used his position and the White House as his personal sexual playground and retained his position.

These two woman are not named. When Clarence Thomas was to be confirmed as Supreme Court Justice, PBS managed to scrape up Anita Hill to accuse him of sexual harrassment. It didn’t work and Justice Thomas now sits in that exhalted position. Now they will have to scrape up two equally not credible women with equally incredible stories to go on TV all over the place to accuse him of sexual harrassment. I don’t believe it and further, if someone should accuse Barack Hussein Obama of a like offence, the MSM and the libs would all be screaming,”Racist.”
I admire Mr. Cain and I believe I am not alone. I am in very good company, indeed. If he is the Republicn candidate, he gets my vote. Race has nothing to do with it. Competency and honesty–that’s what I look for in a President regardles of race. These qualities are sadly missing in our sitting President. IMO this country will not survive four more years of Barack Hussein ObAMA.

That said, if there are two independent allegations made years ago, and the two women never consulted each other, then you have to concede that there is enough smoke worthy of looking for a fire.

      ^^ Hit submit too early.

Meant to also say. “I don’t know why Clinton gets so many passes. I didn’t think he was worthy of them. Kennedy has the obvious family armor to protect him against anything. Edwards….I don’t think he got away with it, once “it” was known.

My question/point is, If there is something there, do you care? Do you want to know? When would you want to know?

If you don’t care, then don’t pretend to be better than those who gave Clinton a pass. This is “your” primary. you should know the skeletons before the voting starts irregardless of who digs them up. I say this in the interest of getting a viable republican candidate. I would love to have two choices.

Kinda reminds us of what a hack the person is that wrote the above.

Now, to Herman Cain. Any publication would have published the story. Tell us one that wouldn’t? There are allegations of improper sexual harassment AND there was a PAID settlement. That’s a legitimate story, in and of itself. For one to not think so shows what a true hack they are.

#1 – democrats run on moral authority like republicans do?

Time to circle the wagon teabaggers….the guy could have raped a woman and you freaks would excuse it….and make her have the baby. Lol.

Sexual harassment is about “power” primarily. It is about unwelcome advances. It is about creating an unhealthy work environment. Sexual harassment in the workplace is a very serious problem.

But for you #1 I guess it doesn’t count if it’s a republican. Did I get that right? Typical teatard.

Gotta love how conservatives hate when Democrats call them out for racism, but they don’t hesitate for a moment to throw out the race card when it doesn’t even remotely apply. Any candidate accused of sexual harassment would have the stories published and have it looked into. If you didn’t want your problems looked into you wouldn’t run for president.

This just proves that Cain isn’t serious about being president, he’s just trying to become the next Sarah Palin, making boatloads of money for being on Fox News and little else. The man doesn’t even know where he stands on abortion, how is he going to decide what to do on critical issues if he were to become president?

In interviews on two different networks Monday evening, Cain recalled an encounter with an employee in his office where he made a gesture about her height and said she later included it in a formal complaint to the association.

      ——
A gesture about her height?! $10 says the gesture involved putting a beer can on her head. Harassment but not predatory. Political career killer….meh. Many funny jokes have a “victim” and I think most everyone has been on both ends of them.

What about his lack of experience? Running a successful business does not a President make.

Obama only served as a Senator for less than 300 days and look what his lack of experience has done to America for the last 3+ years.

#27: Was that even in English? Learn how to put your thoughts together coherently before you go off on some pointless rant. None of that made any sense, but I guess that’s what happens when you spend all your time listening to right-wing propaganda.

The funny part about this is how you’re all attacking Democrats for this story when the Democrats would love Cain to be the nominee. The man can’t even decide how he feels about abortion, he doesn’t stand a chance in a general election. It’s the racist wing of the Republicans that are trying to kill his chances. Democrats wouldn’t get involved during the primary, it’s pointless when they’re all destroying each other for us.
      __________
SM: As opposed to your LEFT-WING dribble? The fact of the matter is any one of the GOP candidates would be better and a welcome change from Obama and his far left extreme agenda and ineptitude. Sorry, but even Democrats look at him as a disappointment. This man had a chance to make great change in the civil discord in America and he made it worse. The Independents have abandoned him as they realize they were duped by his political campaign lies. From the outset he should have focused on creating a political environment for job creation, instead it was all about Obamacare.

Obama has failed and he knows it, that is why he cannot run on his record. His one glorious achievement is hated by a majority of Americans and will be shot down in the SCOTUS.

BTW, I hardly think and Democrat wants to run against a black conservative GOP candidate. It would end once and for all the Democrat lie of racism.

The confidentiality agreement of the settlement between the National Restaurant Association (not Herman Cain) and the Unnamed Women, may prohibit any or all parties from discussing the terms of the settlement and/or details of the charges or even the existence thereof. Since the women were not named in the law suit, who must have broken the confidentiality agreement?

It is certainly not in Herman Cain’s best interest to begin to talk about something of this nature that may or may not have involved him.

Since no one is suppose to know the details, the allegations are at best speculation. That is, of course, unless they came directly from the women themselves. Why would these women break the terms of the confidentiality agreement and subject themselves to possible prosecution and fines?

It is simple, they are being used by the leftist media as manure to throw against Herman Cain who, bound by the terms of the confidentiality agreement, can not fully rebut or even acknowledge that such a confidentiality agreement ever existed.

The media has Cain hand tied and blindfolded on this issue and are free to sling whatever bilge they may trump up against him. All they need now is a rope to string him up for their unfounded and unproven allegations a’ la the Scottsboro Boys. Sounds like a modern day media lynching to me.

Super Dave: Lmao. You call me a racist, then in the same sentence call me and Obama illegal? That’s probably the best example of right-wing hypocrisy I’ve ever seen. I’m sorry, but if you really believe he’s not an American citizen you should be in a padded room.

And to SM, you’re completely wrong as usual. It’s not Obama people are disappointed in, it’s congress. The idiots that want to take away food from the poor just so that they can give more tax breaks to billionaires that took the jobs over to China and created those poor people. They’ve filabustered a record number of times since Obama has been in office. They’re not doing their job and they’re proud of it. They’re exactly what’s wrong with this country

How exactly has he failed? When he took office we were losing around 700k jobs a month, now we’re gaining jobs nearly every month. He got Osama and Ghadafi, and got us out of Iraq, a war we were lied into. And all of that is with Congress doing everything they can to try to ruin him.
      ______________
SM: As usual D, you have no idea what you are talking about. Have you taken a look at Obama’s polling numbers? The people were upset with Congress in 2010 and look how that turned out for Democrats. The Dems will lose the US Senate in 2012 just by the mere number of senate seats they have to defend and the open seats are trending toward the GOP.

Obama is down in every poll with every demographic including blacks. Independents have run from him like a Godzilla movie. Jewish support is way down …

      http://www.gallup.com/poll/149522/jewish-support-obama-down-not-disproportionately.aspx

In states that were once considered solid Democrat like WI, Obama is underwater. Even in CA his support is down. There is no way that Obama will win VA, NC, FL and many if the states he did in 2008 when he ran on hope & change, Obama has a track record and no one thinks the country is headed in the right direction.

Obama has failed and not only not created jobs as he promised and kept the unemployment rate at 8%, he pushed the national debt to the brink.

Sorry, he is toast and if we had an honest and unbiased media, Obama’s approval ratings would be at 15%.

Considering there are two separate lawsuits filed against Herman Cain … somehow I believe that something inappropriate may have happened and … if it happened I do not condone.

However … those lawsuits were settled and … confidentiality agreements were a condition of those settlements. Why is Cain speaking out … defending himself? Why not just state “no comment” went questioned and move on? His need to “explain” is opening a door that will legally allow these women to reveal their side of the allegations?

Cain has to learned to stay focused on the issues that define his political ideology and … not divert. IMO

    44. flutter1 on November 2nd, 2011 7:55 pm

#33 As has been seen by your previous comments, your command of the English language is limited at best. The unnamed woman’s Lawyer, Mr. Bennett, said in his many appearances that there was a confidentiality agreement. In the meantime, the unnamed woman has told Mr. Bennett to quit making appearances and/or statements on her behalf regarding the case against the NRA. She has probably read the final disposition and found out that her violation of the non-disclosure clause would cost her to forfeit any monetary payments made to her on behalf of the NRA.

As far as Rick Perry’s cammp leaking the “story” to Politico, in the scheme of politics, it would not surprise me for a politician of the same party to try to throw a trashcan in front of an opponent. The Politico, of course,, was more than happy to run with the allegatons without knowing any of the details.
