Herman Cain Announces His Official Announcement for GOP White House Run

Herman Cain, the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, has officially announced that he will officially announce his GOP run for the White House in 2012. Cain’s press secretary said the official announcement will be made on Saturday. Herman Cain will be a breath of fresh air in the Republican run for the WH.

Friday evening in Council Bluffs, the Atlanta businessman announced his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012.

Cain spoke to a crowd of 200 people at Iowa Western Community College. His announcement was met with a standing ovation.

Charles Krauthammer is saying that his candidacy is for entertainment purposes only; however, Hot Air disagrees. At some point the establishment media types, even on Fox News, have to accept that others than just career politicians are serious candidates and would be effective. At the very least, Herman Cain will force Republicans to act in a conservative manner and drag wanna be RINO’s and those without a spine to be more for lowering taxes, reducing the debt, cut spending and other Conservative cornerstone ideas. It’s rather disingenuous for media types to determine who is and who is not a serious candidate just so that they can provide an agenda instead of an opinion. It will be up to the voters, not the media to determine whether Cain will be a viable candidate, and as the Gateway Pundit states … the Tea Party might have an big say in whether Cain is merely entertainment or not. Hey Charles, what drove the 2010 midterm election? Have you forgot so soon?

I like Herman Cain, he’s a breath of fresh air that is needed in the GOP right now. I also like Allen West, not sure he will make a run, but he’s another one that excites me.

We like Herman Cain at this house–a businessman before being a politician… We have enough professional politicians in Washington DC.

Thanks to Barry and his boys and girls it will take a terrific campaign for another black man or woman to be elected.

Dr, Charles needs to broaden his views more than a little.

The color of one’s skin should not make a difference. Herman Cain has good values, maybe he can overcome Barry’s mess.

      One Solitary Life

He was born in an obscure village,
The child of a peasant woman.
He grew up in still another village,
Where he worked in a carpenter shop
      Until he was thirty.

      Then for three years
      He was an itinerant preacher.
      He never wrote a book.
      He never held an office.
He never had a family or owned a house.
      He didn’t go to college.
He never visited a big city.
He never traveled two hundred miles
From the place where he was born.
He did none of the things
      One usually associates with greatness.
He had no credentials but himself.

      He was only thirty-three
When the tide of public opinion turned against him.
      His friends ran away.
He was turned over to his enemies.
And went through the mockery of a trial.

He was nailed to a cross
      Between two thieves.
      While he was dying,
His executioners gambled for his clothing,
The only property he had on Earth.
      When he was dead,
He was laid in a borrowed grave
Through the pity of a friend.

Twenty centuries have come and gone,
And today he is the central figure
      Of the human race,
And the leader of mankind’s progress.

All the armies that ever marched,
All the navies that ever sailed,
All the parliament that ever sat,
All the kings that ever reigned,
      Put together have not affected
The life of man on Earth
      As much as that

This man has integrity. I’d vote for him.

As for the “black thing”, at least he IS black (not half) and American made through and through. Yes, Zero was born in Hawaii, but to a NON-American African man with no interest in the USA (other than to get an education) and a communist-Athiest mother. He was not even raised here in his most informative years.

At the very, least Mr. Cain has advantages over Zero on those facts any day. He was born from American parents with American values and raised here. Not to mention has intelligence and far more experience that can be PROVEN. Zero? A “community organizer” in the most corrupt city in the country which is now under investigation for voter fraud and mishandling of funds.

I think Mr. Cain would do our country proud! In the least I hope he gets the VP nomination. I think that would put Zero winning maybe Massachusetts and that’s about it.

      By Herman Cain
      Published May 21, 2011

… This is my “common sense” approach to real leadership. This approach is coupled with a steadfast belief that politics should never compromise principles. And my principles are rooted in the Constitutional guarantees of limited government and individual freedom.
