RSSCaylee/Casey Anthony Case Breaking News: Rumors That Roy Black Joins Forces With Jose Baez False
Expected to be announced at the 9am scheduled press conference this morning, Roy Black, of William Kennedy Smith and Rush Limbaugh aquittal-fame, has signed on to join the defense team representing Casey Anthony in the charges against her for allegedly murdering her 34 month old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony.
Update: Jose Baez did announce the addition of 2 new lawyers to the case, Ann Finnell and Dorothy Clay Simms.

At least now I can stop worrying that she could appeal a guilty verdict based on incompetent counsel and have serious grounds for a re-do because of Baez. I suspect Baez’ motive in securing Black is to be able to rub elbows with a credible defense attorney, hoping that will improve his image. Good luck with that Jose! I wonder if Black will put up with him or vanish like Lyons when he sees what he’s gotten into?
Good! I’m glad that Black has NOT agreed to defend her. I want her to have competent counsel so she has no grounds for an appeal, but I would prefer she have someone much less effective than Roy Black. He would have been formidable if he had signed on as a defense attorney in this case no matter what the evidence.
My God, When is this damn foolishness going to stop. If they dont have enough on her let her go free. Are these people just stupid or what?

I agree with you ! nothing baez can do to improve his image its already ruined and continues to take a dive everytime he opens his mouth crap spills. I am so fed up with him! please May come and go so that caylee can get her rest. He took cindys line she said on t.v way back that!!

I admire both of these Women, their writing skills, their keen eye for detail and most assuredly the contributions they make (and at times real time involvement with LE) to help catch some of these twisted Perps out there. Amazing ladies, both. Dana has Blink on his radio show as a guest quite often; when you hear her speak—you’ll see for yourself how captivating and in depth her knowledge is. Good stuff.

So, the Scam Anthony’s who have not worked in years and derive 100% of their income off of their sordid interviews and selling their dead baby Grand daughter’s photos to People Magazine, etc. should really be ashamed of themselves. Then whose ashes (they had Caylee’s remains creamated and Cindy puts some of them in a locket/pin she wears)—whose ashes are those now if you claim she is still alive? The State of Florida has spent a fortune on Casey Anthony…just get on with the trial and get it over with….she murdered Caylee…Baez tries to drag this on as long as possible…Incidentally, Baez’s middle name is Angel…it was on the prison visitor’s list….!!!!

Too much incriminating FORENSIC evidence and TONS *& TONS of coordinating CIRCUMSTANTIAL evidence, too. Not sure if a Jury will have pity on her when delivering a verdict of GUILTY.
The trial is set for next Summer, btw. Baez has to comply with the new schedule and the new Judge. He has his work cut out for him even with the new members of his legal time. Just do not think there is a chance in hell Casey Anthony is going to get off. Really don’t.
I wonder if after she is convicted, SINdy Anthony will still be claiming her Granddaughter is alive somewhere, and that Casey is innocent. I do not believe when the GUILTY VERDICT is delivered next year that Americans should continue to clothe and feed, and pay for the Mortgage of HopeSpring drive and all of the Anthony’s living expenses as they have been the past several years.
It is blood money from the proceeds they never would have been entitled to if their OWN DAUGHTER didn’t kill THEIR OWN BABY GRANDAUGHTER.
They disgust me a lot more than Baez does, IMO.
