Utah Boy Found
This is wonderful news!
Authorities confirmed Tuesday that a missing 11-year-old scout has been found alive in Utah, four days after he vanished.
Brennan Hawkins (search) was located safe and sound with no major injuries. He was found just before noon near Lily Lake, about five miles northeast of the Boy Scout camp where he was last seen Friday, said Kay Godfrey, director of public relations for the Great Salt Lake Council.
“He was extremely hungry and thirsty,” Sheriff Dave Edmunds said. “He looked like he was in excellent shape to me.”
Edmunds said Hawkins did not want to talk much but after drinking some water and eating some food he expressed interest in a volunteer’s cell phone video game. Edmunds said he didn’t tell rescuers much except that he wanted to see his mother.
Hawkins was being transported by ambulance to a Primary Children’s Medical Center (search) in Salt Lake City to be checked up.
The boy’s uncle, Bob Hawkins, tearfully thanked searchers after the boy’s discovery was confirmed.

Thank goodness for this child and his family!
I wonder how he got from just 200 yards from camp to 5 miles from camp. He sure must have been lost, poor guy, great to hear he was found.
Oscar
His parents said he has poor sense of direction LOL.

keep praying for natalie too! we want her to come home alive as well.
I have cried tears of joy – it seems like we have not had something this good happen for a very long time. What wonderful news! I thank God. Let’s pray we get Natalee back too.
Ive been reading the posts and comments on this site for awhile now, and its very Informative. Ive been very concerned about Natalee and her family, as i did for brennan. How scared they both must have been (and be) But if that little man can survive under those conditions, then there is hope for natalee. This must have been great news for her family to hear. Bittersweet too. Ill keep both familys in my prayers.. that the search for natalee will soon come to an end and her family will have a moment of peace. I also pray for brennans safe recovery.
