Wearing the traditional Islamic dress, the iconic doll is going undercover for a charity auction in connection with Sotheby’s for Save The Children.

I didn’t see the “Burka” Barbie on the shelves at one of the local retail stores last night. Of course, this would not be a “best seller” in the “Bible Belt” anyway, so there’s need to bring the garbage to our local stores or our country. Please keep it in Italy!

I’m just a little older than Barbie. We did grow up together. She was caucasian back then. It didn’t take long for her to be baked brown and now we have a Burka. What in the world? How much more are we supposed to sit down and take just for the sake of political correctness. Well, I would no more buy a single toy from Mattel ever again.
