Morning Consult Survey: 72% of Americans Feel Hopeful About 2017

LOOKS LIKE A MAJORITY OF PEOPLE ARE HOPEFUL ABOUT 2017!!!

Yet another story the liberal MSM will not tell you about. According to a new Morning Consult survey,  72% of Americans say they feel hopeful about 2017. One would think that with all the negative media stories of Trump and the unwillingness of the LEFT to accept Trump as president that this number would be a lot lower. But maybe, just maybe the mood of the country is much like the 2016 presidential election … a change and move away from Obama and the Left to the message of hope and Making America Great Gain that won Donald Trump an electoral landslide.

Nearly three-quarters of Americans, or 72 percent of those polled, say they are feeling hopeful about 2017, according to a new Morning Consult survey.

Sixty-one percent of respondents say they are feeling optimistic about the upcoming year, and 51 percent of people are feeling excited.

But half of the respondents say they are feeling anxious about the coming year, according to the poll.

Twenty-three percent reported feeling sad and 19 percent reported feeling angry going into the new year.

Less than half of respondents say they are feeling peaceful or relaxed about the coming year, and a quarter reported feeling indifferent.

Eighty-one percent of Americans say they are concerned about the nation’s political atmosphere, and 64 percent are worried about world affairs.

Still, 55 percent say they think 2017 will be a better year than 2016, with 59 percent saying they expect to do better financially in 2017.

They Are Already Lining Up for 2020 … Top 15 Democrat Challengers, Or So They Say

WOW, IF THIS IS THE DEMOCRAT BENCH FOR PRESIDENT, THEY ARE IN FOR A WORLD OF HURT FOR DECADES ...

Donald Trump has not yet been sworn in as the 45th president of the United States, and The Hill already has a list of the top 15 Democrat challengers for 2020. I must say, if this is the Democrat bench, they are in deep, deep trouble. No wonder no one ran against Hillary Clinton in the Democrat primaries, there was no one of any substance to run. The Democrat challengers for 2020 is a who’s who from Pocahontas, Elizabeth Warren to old white fossils like Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden who will be 79 and 77 respectively on election day 2020. Honestly, unless some one emerges between now and 2020, the Democrats have nothing.

If you think its too soon to be discussing 2020, that’s because it is. Hillary Clinton, Democrats and the MSM have not recovered from the Trump presidential victory and they are already putting Hillary back in the mix for 2020.

1. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) – Really, Pocahontas is going to run for president? Sorry, this woman is way too far left.
2. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) – He will be 79 next Election Day. Also, Sanders sold out the people who backed him in the primaries by backing Hillary Clinton, even after the world found out that the DNC and Team Hillary conspired against him.
3. Sen. Cory Booker (N.J.) -The past 8 years of Barack Obama may have sunk his chances.
4. Sen. Amy Klobuchar (Minn.) – Who?
5. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y) – And other than a woman, why is she running?
6. First lady Michelle Obama- Please, Michelle is not running for president. Barack Obama had no coattails, not even for his wife. This is a liberal pipe dream.
7. Gov. John Hickenlooper (Colo.)
8. Sen. Chris Murphy (Conn.)
9. Vice President Joe Biden – Not happening. Biden would be 77 years old on election day.
10. Gov. Andrew Cuomo (N.Y.)
11. Sen.-elect Kamala Harris (Calif.) HUH? And her qualifications are what? She would be just as experienced as Obama was, how did that work out for us America?
12. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton – Would Hillary try for a 3rd time? Sorry, can’t see this one happening. She has crashed and burned too many times. And she would be 4 years older.
13. Former Gov. Deval Patrick (Mass.) – See #3.
14. Sen. Tim Kaine (Va.) – Seriously? After his disastrous, moon-bat VP debate, no one would let this loon near the nuclear codes.
15. Oprah Winfrey – Oprah? Talk about your desperate measures for the Democrat party.

Tesla & Panasonic to Make Solar Cells in Buffalo, New York … JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!!!

MAKING AMERICA AND UPSTATE NEW YORK GREAT AGAIN …

If Democrat strong-hold states like New York become areas for job growth under a Donald Trump presidency, look out. According to Yahoo News,  Japanese electronics company Panasonic and U.S. electric car maker Tesla plan to begin production of solar cells at a factory in Buffalo, New York. Its all about jobs, jobs, jobs and putting America back to work again.

The two companies said they finalized an agreement calling for Tokyo-based Panasonic to pay capital costs for the manufacturing. Palo Alto, California-based Tesla made a “long-term purchase commitment” to Panasonic.

Their statement gave no financial figures.

The factory in Buffalo is under development by SolarCity Corp., a San Mateo, California-based solar panel company owned by Tesla. The photovoltaic cells and modules will be used in solar panels for non-solar roof products and solar glass tile roofs that Tesla plans to begin making, the announcement said.

Production is due to begin in mid-2017. Tesla said it will create 1,400 jobs in Buffalo, 500 in manufacturing and plans further expansion in Buffalo.

Panasonic also is to work with Tesla on next-generation technology, the companies said.

New York state has committed $750 million to build and outfit the plant at Buffalo’s RiverBend site, the centerpiece of Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s “Buffalo Billion” program to revitalize the upstate region’s largest city.

SolarCity has committed to investing $5 billion over 10 years in New York state, hiring almost 1,500 workers at the Buffalo plant for five years and employing at least 2,000 more people across New York in exchange for use of the state-owned plant.

Actress Carrie Fisher (Star Wars’ Princess Leia) Has Died at Age 60

A TRULY SAD DAY, THIS ONE HURTS A LOT …

Carrie Fisher, the actress best known as Princess Leia of ‘Star Wars’ fame has passed away today at the age of 60. Carrie Fisher died this morning following a heart attack that caused her to be hospitalized on Friday on a flight from Los Angeles from London. Sadly, she could not recover from the massive heart attack and died at 8:55 this morning. She is survived by her mother, Debbie Reynolds; her daughter, Billie Lourd; and her beloved French bulldog, Gary. On a personal note, having grown up in the Star Wars era from Star Wars, A New Hope, in 1977 to the present day Rouge One, this one hurts a lot. This one strikes at my child hood, “a long time ago, in galaxy far, far away,” when things were just so much different. Carry Fisher, you will be so missed. Rest in peace and may the force be eternally with you.

Family spokesman Simon Halls released a statement to PEOPLE on behalf of Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd:

“It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning,” reads the statement.

“She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly,” says Lourd, 24. “Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.”

Fisher was flying from London to Los Angeles on Friday, Dec. 23, when she went into cardiac arrest. Paramedics removed her from the flight and rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was treated for a heart attack. She later died in the hospital.

The daughter of renowned entertainers Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher, Fisher was brought up in the sometimes tumultuous world of film, theater and television.

Winning the admiration of countless fans, Ms. Fisher never played Leia as helpless. She had the toughness to escape the clutches of the monstrous gangster Jabba the Hutt and the tenderness to tell Han Solo, as he is about to be frozen in carbonite, “I love you.” (Solo, played by Harrison Ford, caddishly replies, “I know.”)
