Hmm, Will Marco Rubio Endorse Ted Cruz and Will It Make any Difference?

WILL MARCO RUBIO ENDORSE TED CRUZ?

It is being reported that former GOP presidential candidate and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is close to endorsing current Republican presidential candidate and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. One can never get enough endorsements but one also has to wonder whether it will make a difference. If Cruz wants to catch front-runner Donald Trump and minimize establishment candidate John Kasich, an endorsement from Rubio probably could not hurt. Except for his position on illegal immigration, Marco Rubio is a pretty strong conservative. A Rubio endorsement might have meant a little more had Marco gotten out of the race before the Florida primary where he got soundly defeated by Trump We shall see what happens. In the end conservatives do need to stick together.

Marco Rubio is close to endorsing Ted Cruz, but the two proud senators — and recent fierce rivals — have some details to work out first.

Cruz has to ask for the Rubio’s endorsement, and both sides need to decide that it will make a difference, according to sources familiar with the thinking of both senators.

Rubio and Cruz, who are more friendly with each other in the Senate than they are with longer-serving colleagues, occasionally chatted and patched up their sometime-rocky relationship on the campaign trail heading into Florida’s primary Tuesday, when Rubio was blown out by Donald Trump and subsequently quit the presidential race.

The buzz about a Rubio endorsement of Cruz intensified after the St. Paul Pioneer Press on Thursday reported that the Florida senator called his Texas colleague “the only conservative left in the race.”

Rubio, who returned to work Thursday in the Capitol, told reporters “I don’t have any announcement on that today” when asked about a Cruz endorsement. Rubio indicated, though, that he might have something to say soon.

“There’s time to prevent a Trump nomination, which I think would fracture the party and be damaging to the conservative movement,” Rubio said, stressing that he’s not interested in being anyone’s vice-presidential pick or running for Florida governor.

John Kasich Could Win a Contested Convention … And No One Would Vote For Him in The General Election

WELL THAT’S ABOUT ALL HE WOULD WIN …

The Politico is reporting that Ohio Governor and GOP presidential candidate could win a Republican contested convention if the GOP primaries fail to produce one candidate with the necessary delegates for nomination. Kasich has won one state, his own. Oh sure, lets nominate the third place guy. Hell, why don’t you just nominate Jeb Bush while you are at it. Two things here; one, consider the source and two, it would be about the only thing that Kasich wins because if the Republican Establishment pond scum ever manipulated such a happening, no one would vote for him in the general election. Let alone, if the GOP establishment ever screwed Donald Trump over like this, his supporters would stay home and Trump might even run as a third party candidate.

WTF

A note to the ignorant and power hungry Republican establishment, right now Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are first and second in the Republican primaries. The two individuals who are considered political outsiders. Are you getting the message from the American people yet? THEY HATE THE GOP ESTABLISHMENT AND WANT YOU ALL GONE!!! If you pull a stunt like nominating the establishment guy who you like, you will feel the wrath of the electorate that has not been seen in years. The people are sick of the GOP establishment making promises to get elected and then doing nothing. We are sick of your lies. If you meddle in this process and do not do right by the GOP base, in 2016 the Republicans will lose the presidency, the House and the Senate.

In the event of a contested Republican convention this summer, John Kasich is the candidate most acceptable to GOP delegates.

That’s according to members of The POLITICO Caucus – a panel of political insiders in seven battleground states – who said Kasich would be the most palatable of the three remaining Republican presidential candidates in a contested convention, despite the fact the Ohio governor is last in delegates and the only one mathematically eliminated from clinching a majority before the July convention.

The verdict was hardly unanimous: Only a 45-percent plurality of GOP insiders said Kasich was most acceptable, with the others divided between Ted Cruz (33 percent) and Donald Trump (22 percent).

But insiders said Kasich has alienated fewer Republicans, and his campaign – he has thus far declined to participate in the personal back-and-forth that has defined much of the Republican race – has left him better positioned to court delegates who are supporting, or bound to, other candidates.

“John is the only candidate that is left on the stage that has crossover appeal to all factions of the party,” added a New Hampshire Republican. “The way he has conducted himself in this election has offered him the opportunity to be an acceptable choice for the delegates. Everyone else will be carrying deep battle scars into Cleveland. John will be able to bring different factions together where others can’t.”

MARCH IVY LEAGUE MADNESS … YALE STUNS BAYLOR 79-75

SHUT UP AND DANCE WITH MEYALE STUNS BAYLOR, 79-75!!!

Sorry folks, I understand that this is a 12-5 seed match up, but this was Yale. Yes the same Yale from the Ivy League. I don’t want to hear all the pundits suddenly saying that they saw this coming. This is Yale, all of their stats are based on playing Ivy League schools. And its their first tournament win EVER! Congrats to the Yale Bulldogs and their tremendous March Madness win. This is why it is the greatest playoff system in spite of the NCAA adding the first 4 play-in games.

With 14:29 left in the game, Brandon Sherrod took a seat on the Yale bench alongside Justin Sears. Somewhere in the Dunkin Donuts Center, expelled team captain Jack Montague sat in the stands, watching.

That trio accounts for virtually all of the Bulldogs’ leadership, not to mention three of the team’s top four scorers.

Yet with their first NCAA tournament game in 54 years in the hands of mostly underclassmen, the Bulldogs stretched their then two-point lead over Baylor to nine.

There are two ways for Cinderella to win in the NCAA tournament: Play a flawless basketball game, or play harder than your opponent.

Yale did both, which is why the 12th-seeded Bulldogs scored the first upset of this tournament, topping No. 5 seed Baylor 79-75.

Threatening Letter & White Powder Sent to Donald Trump’s Son, Eric Trump & His Wife (VIDEO)

SICK, JUST SICK …

Eric Trump, the second oldest son of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, was sent a letter in the mail that contained a white powdery substance and a threatening letter. Really folks, this sent by the same people who claims that Donald Trump uses violent and inflammatory rhetoric on the campaign trail. But terroristic threats and activities are perfectly okay, right? The Police and FBI are investigating the suspicious letter that was post marked from Massachusetts. I don’t care what you think of some body, this should be denounced by all and those responsible arrested and prosecuted.

The Secret Service, FBI and New York Police Department are investigating what sources tell CBS News is a threatening piece of mail sent to Donald Trump’s son, Eric Trump.

The mail, sent to Eric Trump at his posh Manhattan residence at 100 Central Park South, also known as Trump Parc East, was opened by his wife Thursday.

A source close to the investigation said the letter had a Massachusetts postmark and warned that if Donald Trump doesn’t withdraw from the race for the Republican presidential nomination — paraphrasing — harm will come to the kids.
