70% of Americans Believe the News Media is Intentionally Biased

OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF AMERICANS BELIEVE THE MSM IS INTENTIONALLY BIASED …

Looking at this survey makes one wonder why anyone watched MSM reports. According to the 2015 State of the First Amendment Survey, 70% of Americans believe that the news media intentionally tries to report the news with bias, only 24% believe the opposite. A 17% difference from the 41% who believed just last year that the MSM was unbiased. The poll further found that when it comes to religious freedom laws, Gay rights groups and the MSM, only 27% believe the MSM accurately portrays religious freedom laws, 51% say the MSM makes it sound more discriminatory than they really are. Also, 61% believe that the media over-hypes incidents in which black people are shot by white police officers, only 28% believe otherwise. 63% of Americans also believe that the bias media coverage of police shootings with blacks have also made it more dangerous for police officers to do their jobs.

It amazes me how anyone still watches the MSM as it is more about their agenda than it is about reporting the facts.

Nearly three quarters of Americans believe the news media reports with an intentional bias, according to a new survey.

The 2015 State of the First Amendment Survey, conducted by the First Amendment Center and USA Today, was released Friday. It shows that only 24 percent of American adults agree with the statement that “overall, the news media tries to report the news without bias,” while 70 percent disagree.

When the question was asked last year, 41 percent agreed, a 17-point difference.

“These are discouraging results for those of us who have spent our careers in journalism,” Ken Paulson, president of the First Amendment Center, wrote in an op-ed for USA Today on Thursday. “In 23 years in newsrooms, I saw consistent and concerted efforts to get stories right. Clearly, the public’s not convinced.”

The MSM consisting of the major newspapers and Television networks have become the propaganda arm of the Democrat/Socialist party.

The problem began during the administration of FDR and gradually moved to the far left where socialism is the norm. In the 1950′s, the large universities began to move towards the socialist agenda that was began with the creation of ISS (Intercollegiate Socialist Society) whose primary goal was to infiltrate colleges and university faculties and convert them to the socialist mind set.

With the “dumbing down” of school curricula in the K-12 system to accommodate those that could not do the proper work, it produced a college student that was far less capable than those of previous generations.

In the 1950′s college students who could not make it in other degree programs were steered to the schools of journalism. This created a large pool of people who for the most part could not perform critical thinking that journalism traditionally required, making them easy prey for the socialist agenda. The result is what we see today.
