Barack Obama Says on Al Sharpton Radio Show: 2014 Democrats “Are All Folks Who Vote With Me” And “Have Supported My Agenda”

Did Barack Obama just make “devastating” statements to Democrats on the Al Sharpton radio show, or is he trying to gin up his African-American base? Or is it all about the Narcissist in Chief’s “hurt feelings”? Democrats running in red states and in close contests have been trying their best to distance themselves from Obama, including refusing to say whetther they even voted for him. However, he just put himself right in the middle of their campaigns … “These are all folks who vote with me, they have supported my agenda in congress.”

But Obama made sure to stress that although Alison Lundergan Grimes, Bruce Braley, and even DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz have all insisted that the president is “not on the ballot,” all of them support his agenda and will vote with him.

“These are all folks who vote with me, they have supported my agenda in congress,” Obama said. “These are folks who are strong allies and supporters of me.”

Mediaite:

Describing the “tough map“ that Democrats face in this year’s midterms, Obama told Sharpton, “A lot of the states that are contested this time are states that I didn’t win. And so some of the candidates there — it is difficult for them to have me in the state because the Republicans will use that to try to fan Republican turnout.”

“The bottom line though is, these are all folks who vote with me, they have supported my agenda in Congress,” Obama added, citing the minimum wage and fair pay as issues on which they all agree. “This isn’t about my feelings being hurt, these are folks who are strong allies and supporters of me,” the president said.

It is a shame that our elected officials feel they have to distance themselves from their beliefs and hide. So what, if they believe in some of the same policies as President’s policies. I don’t believe any of us are perfect anyway. P The republicans don’t care; popular or unpopular they say it loud and proud. I wish that more democrat elected official would stand behind their president, or even with him. The maybe just, maybe they would not be trying to distance themselves from him. Speak the truth about the republicans and their policy agendas that hurt Americans. Stop trying to blame Obama for the world’s ill, and wake up and smell the republican coffee.

I must have missed it where Democrats care. Yes Obama is to blame. He is large and in charge and the buck stops with him. Sadly, he is either a colossal screw up or actually wants to destroy America. Take your pick.

I’m not sure if voters will pick up on it but while many hate Obama, they actually support much of his agenda such as higher mw, equal pay for women, reproductive issues, less coddling of the wealthy, and believe it or not, even ACA.

Even ACA. Yes. Granted, they still plenty well hate Obamacare but they like The Affordable Care Act. Here in KY, Mitch McConnell is promising to repeal Obamacare, which people hate, “root and branch ” yet let them keep their ACA, which they like. But here in KY, Grimes isn’t even much challenging Mitch’s non sequitur gibberish as he’s painted her as Obama.

Considering the GOP machine he’s up against, maybe his move makes some sense.

SM: It might actually be the one truthful thing Obama has said in his 6 years as president. Yes, they all did vote for him and support his agenda, but how many of those people are left? Many have been voted out of office.

BTW, How is that Obama WH equal pay for woman going? How about those Democrats?

hen it turned out that the Obama White House itself pays women workers less than men. White House Press Secretary Carney didn’t mention his wife’s choices, but did argue that the number was misleading because women held different jobs. Well, yes. Federal law says you have to pay people the same for the same work; it doesn’t say you have to pay secretaries the same as press secretaries. This is true both in the White House, and in the private businesses that the White House was attacking.

But that’s just the beginning. As the Washington Post reported, many vulnerable Democrats have a pay gap, too:

Sen. Mark Udall of Colorado pays women workers 85 cents for every dollar he pays men.

Sen. Mary Landrieu of Louisiana pays women 88 cents on the dollar.

Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia pays women 75 cents for every dollar he pays a man.

Rep. Gary Peters pays women 67 cents for every dollar that a man makes.

And Sen. Mark Begich of Alaska pays women in his office 82 cents for every dollar that a man makes.

Hogwash….they now are despising, distrusting, disloyal, etc, because of his reputation and because what they have done themselves has backfired. You reap what you sow, your fields are deplorable.

His assessment of the failed issues he is directly responsible for, as usual, is blamed on someone else. Can’t and won’t admit the truth, just tell more lies. And then, play more rounds of golf and go on a vacation.

How many times, when he has been wrong and completely ignored what was best for America has he addressed his, I’ll get you attitude, misused his power and issued an executive order????

#2. I see you made it to the 6th grade before quitting school. Democrats should be illegal in America along with the liberal communists who intend to destroy America with their criminal agenda.
You are not even thinking of the young people and children who will suffer greatly due to your vote for obama. Your children will suffer.

I agree that Democrats support Obama’s agenda and vote with him in secret if at all possible. They try to distance themselves from those facts. It seems the Dems don’t want to pay the piper for their bad decisions.

typical of the democrats. In North Carolina yesterday, officials of UNC discovered that wt least 3100 students and athletes wound up with A & B grades for classes that were bogus. 50% of these were football and basketball athletes who can barely carry on a conversation and can myabe read and write as well as a 6th grader.
this is the reason for all the pro athletes getting into trouble for abuse and violence and drugs. they are given scholarships that were never earned and given passing grades that were never earned. Hopefully this will steamroll into other universities and put an end to this cheating.
