Body of Missing Virginia Police Capt. Kevin Quick Found; 3 More Arrested in Officer’s Murder (Halisi Uhuru, Anthony Stokes Jr. & Leslie Casterlow)(Update: Suspects Had Gang Ties, Prior Criminal History)

Three more individuals have been arrested in the death of  Waynesboro Police reserve Captain Kevin Quick. Halisi Uhuru, Leslie Casterlow and Anthony Stokes are accused of killing Kevin Quick during an abduction early this week. Quick’s body was found next to a road in Goochland County, about 60 miles west of Richmond, on Thursday afternoon. An autopsy has confirmed that found human remains are those of a Waynesboro reserve police officer who was reported missing a week ago.

Three people were arrested after the body of a missing Virginia police captain was found dumped on alongside a rural road, according to a report.

The trio of suspects — Halisi Uhuru, Leslie Casterlow and Anthony Stokes — are accused of killing Waynesboro Police reserve Captain Kevin Quick during an abduction early this week.

UPDATE I: In a press conference police said the case has changed status to a death investigation.

“Unfortunately this case transitioned from an investigation into a disappearance, into a death investigation, and as a result we are still very actively pursuing new leads,” Geller said Friday afternoon, a week after Quick disappeared.

Late Thursday night police made more arrests in connection with the case; two men and a woman were arrested. Police believe additional charges could be made, and possibly additional suspects charged.

Forty-nine-year-old Leslie Hope Casterlow, of 10900 block Wild Ginger Cir. in Manassas, 31-year-old Anthony Darnell Stokes Jr, of the 10000 block Portsmouth Rd. in Manassas and 22-year-old Halisi Uhuru, of the 1700 block Franklin Tpke. in Danville, were charged with Principle 2nd Degree Capital Murder During Abduction.

This charge is different from Capital Murder in that it is not punishable by death penalty but is punishable by life in prison.

The Commonwealth’s Attorney has also added a felony count of Gang Participation for each  individual arrested Thursday, though investigators would not go into detail.

UPDATE II: Suspects in Capt. Kevin Quick’s death had gang ties and were out on early prison release.

What a shock, some suspects involved in the death of Kevin Quick had a criminal history and had been let out on good behavior. Gert Wright, also known as Halisi Uhuru, was let out of prison early. Wright’s family wrote letters to the state requesting that he get out early, saying “Gert is destined for Greatness.” Yeah, this punk was destined for murder.

Court documents reveal a disturbing criminal history for two men arrested in connection with Waynesboro police captain Kevin Quick’s death.

The case has transitioned from an investigation into a disappearance, into an official death investigation. Late Thursday night police arrested three more people in connection with the case; two men and a woman.

Leslie Hope Casterlow, age 49, of Manassas, Anthony Darnell Stokes Jr., age 31, of Manassas and  Halisi Uhuru, age 22, of Danville, were charged with Principle 2nd Degree Capital Murder During Abduction.

This charge is different from Capital Murder in that it is not punishable by death penalty but is punishable by life in prison.

The Commonwealth’s Attorney has also added a felony count of Gang Participation for each  individual, though investigators would not go into detail.

The trio are being held at the Henrico County Jail West and will be in court on Monday.

A CBS 6 investigation revealed that 31-year-old Anthony Stokes and 22-year-old Gert Wright, also known as Halisi Uhuru, were recently released from prison.

In fact, 31-year-old Anthony Stokes spent 12 years, nearly half of his life in prison for crimes he committed when he was just 19. He was convicted on possession of a weapon, robbery, kidnapping and use of a firearm charges.

UPDATE III:  Sixth suspect named in disappearance and death of Waynesboro officer Kevin Quick.

Police made another arrest Sunday in the disappearance and death of a missing reserve police officer from a small town in Virginia.

Jay Leno Signs Off ‘The Tonight Show’ for the Last Time in an Emotional Farewell … I Bid You All A Heartfelt Goodbye (VIDEO)

Last night Jay Leno signed off ‘The Tonight Show’ for the second and last time. In a gracious show of class he handed off the reins to Jimmy Fallon.

I must admit that no one did the ‘Tonight Show’ better than the late Johnny Carson, but Jay Leno did a damn remarkable job taking over for a legend. Last night he said goodbye. For 22 years Leno provided his monologue, Jaywalking and witty sense of humor in which he was #1 for 20 of those years.

“I don’t like goodbyes. NBC does, I don’t,” Leno joshed as he took the stage in beautiful downtown Burbank. “Well, tonight is our last show for real. I don’t need to get fired three times, I get the hint.”

My person opinion is the suits at NBC are making a colossal mistake. But then again what’s new, we have already seen this act before when they tried to replace Leno with Conan O’Brien. Speaking of Conan, he showed his lack of class last night by responding to Leno’s departure by saying  on his TBS show the following, “the Olympics start airing tonight on NBC. It’s very cool. That’s right, NBC has the Olympics. It’s a big deal. NBC will finally get to show somebody who is OK with passing the torch.”

One of the best things about Leno is he got humor. Now remember Leno is a huge Lib, but he was an equal opportunity joke maker no matter what side of the political spectrum you were. In his monologue last night one of his jokes was, Oh great, now I don’t have a job and I have to sign up for Obamacare.

NBC best hope that Jimmy Fallon is a ratings bonanza because their is no way Leno would come back for a third time. Jay Leno gives one final heartfelt, emotional goodbye.

Jay Leno quoted Johnny Carson by saying … “I bid you all a heartfelt goodnight.”

Another Abysmal Jobs Report … Only 113,000 jobs Created in January 2014 … Unemployment Rate Down to 6.7%

Obamacare, Obamanomics and Barack Obama’s disastrous redistribution policies continue to create uncertainty and poor jobs reports …

January’s Jobs report shows that a meager 113,000 jobs were created, falling far below forecasters’ predictions of 185,000 new jobs. How are jobs supposed to be created in an environment where Barack Obama and his minions cause uncertainty and pass so many regulations on business that it makes it impossible? According to how the administration talks about Obamacare, no one has to work anymore, they got their Obamacare and subsidies.

Our plan is working perfectly to transform America into a third world country

The U.S. economy added just 113,000 jobs in January, a small improvement over December’s disappointing report but not nearly enough to signal a much-needed rebound in the increasingly unpredictable U.S. labor market.

The number of jobs created fell well below forecasters’ predictions of 185,000 new jobs.

The headline unemployment rate was 6.6%, according to figures released by the U.S. Labor Department, down from 6.7% in the prior month.

From CNBC: Stocks Fall on poor jobs report.

U.S. stock-index futures turned higher, reversing course on losses that came in the immediate aftermath of the January jobs report, with fewer Americans finding work in January than estimated, but the unemployment rate fell.

“Mitigating some of these negatives is the unemployment rate ticked a bit lower and the labor participation rate ticked up. Both of those are good things,” said Chris Gaffney, senior market strategist at EverBank.

The government reported the creation of 113,000 jobs in January versus expectations of 185,000. The jobless rate fell to 6.6 percent versus an expectation of 6.7 percent.

DOL: THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION — JANUARY 2014 -

Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult men (6.2 percent), adult
women (5.9 percent), teenagers (20.7 percent), whites (5.7 percent), blacks (12.1 percent),
and Hispanics (8.4 percent) showed little change in January. The jobless rate for Asians
was 4.8 percent (not seasonally adjusted), down by 1.7 percentage points over the year.
(See tables A-1, A-2, and A-3.)

The number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks or more), at 3.6 million,
declined by 232,000 in January. These individuals accounted for 35.8 percent of the
unemployed. The number of long-term unemployed has declined by 1.1 million over the year.
(See table A-12.)
