Barack Obama Unlawfully Rewrites Obamacare Again … Obama Delays Employer Health Insurance Mandate Until 2016, After Elections

Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the rest of their Democrat minions were so quick to ram Obamacare down the throats of Americans with a 100& partisan Democrat vote, now they want to do everything to delay this disastrous healthcare law.

First President Barack Obama unlawfully delayed the employee mandate one year until 2014. However, Obama did not think that his signature piece of legislation would be such a fiasco and disastrously unpopular with the American people. So much so that Democrats are finding it impossible to run for reelection in the 2014 midterm elections with this anchor around their neck. So what does Obama do with the so-called Affordable Healthcare act that is not so affordable that was supposed to be for We the People … why delay the employer mandate until 2016, after the elections of course for political purposes. As reported at The Daily Caller, the Obama administration won’t enforce the rule until 2016 for business with between 50 and 99 employees. All companies with 100 employees or more will be subject to the employer mandate beginning in 2015, after an initial delay was announced before the Independence Day holiday in 2013.

Just curious … why did Congress even vote on Obamacare?

For the second time in a year, the Obama administration is giving certain employers extra time before they must offer health insurance to almost all their full-time workers.

Under new rules announced Monday by Treasury Department officials, employers with 50 to 99 workers will be given until 2016 — two years longer than originally envisioned under the Affordable Care Act — before they risk a federal penalty for not complying.

Companies with 100 workers or more are getting a different kind of one-year grace period. Instead of being required in 2015 to offer coverage to 95 percent of full-time workers, these bigger employers can avoid a fine by offering insurance to 70 percent of them next year.

How the administration would define employer requirements has been one of the biggest remaining questions about the way the 2010 health-care law will work in practice — and has sparked considerable lobbying. By providing the dual phase-ins for employers of different sizes, administration officials have sought to lighten the burden on the small share of affected employers that have not offered insurance in the past.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO AMERICA? Why are we allowing these illegal acts by this administration to happen? Did we or did we not fight a Revolutionary War to rid ourselves of a King’s oppression? But Obama is just allowed to change and ridiculous, unambiguous statutory mandate that requires by law and the US Constitution the approval of Congress. However, the Imperial supreme dictator Barack Obama thinks he can do anything and often decided the law is whatever he says it is. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE COUNTRY I GREW UP IN?

WSJ: Obama Rewrites ObamaCare – Another day, another lawless exemption, once again for business.

‘ObamaCare” is useful shorthand for the Affordable Care Act not least because the law increasingly means whatever President Obama says it does on any given day. His latest lawless rewrite arrived on Monday as the White House decided to delay the law’s employer mandate for another year and in some cases maybe forever.

ObamaCare requires businesses with 50 or more workers to offer health insurance to their workers or pay a penalty, but last summer the Treasury offered a year-long delay until 2015 despite having no statutory authorization. Like the individual mandate, the employer decree is central to ObamaCare’s claim of universal coverage, but employers said the new labor costs—and the onerous reporting and tax-enforcement rules—would damage job creation and the economy.

Remember in the past when the MSM had reported that the GOP was just an obstructionist party, but the Republicans response was that it was impossible to work with a president who kept moving the goal post? Use your own brain and decide for yourself. Once again we see Obama changing things that is supposed to be “the law of the land”. Obama keeps changing the goal post and as Ed Driscoll says, the Obamacare law is whatever Barack Obama says it is.

Legendary Child Star Shirley Temple Passes Away at age 85 … Rest in Peace

Arguably the most famous child star ever has passed away …

This hardly seems possible … legendary child actress Shirley Temple Black has died at the age of 85.  The child star known for her curly hair and dimples died of natural causes Monday night at her Woodside, California home surrounded by her family and caregivers. Shirley Temple Black lifted America’s spirits as a bright-eyed, dimpled child movie star during the Great Depression and later became a U.S. diplomat.

The bright-eyed, adorable little actress was a No. 1 box-office draw in the 1930s, helping to boost America’s spirits after the Great Depression and saving the Fox studio from bankruptcy.

Shirley Temple, the enchanting singing and dancing child star with the glowing corkscrew curls who saved a Hollywood studio and helped yank America from the throes of the Great Depression, died Monday night. She was 85.

CNN: Shirley Temple Black, the former child star who later became a U.S. ambassador, has died at 85, her publicist says.

Temple began acting at age 3 and starred in four massive box-office draws before she turned 10, commanding a then-unheard of $50,000 per movie.

Her first film of notice appeared in 1932, when she played the part of the Baby Burlesks in a series of short films called “War Babies.”

For about 18 years, she sang, tap danced and acted her way into the hearts of millions.

She retired from filmmaking at 22, after marrying Charles Black and changing her last name to Temple Black.

But she did not fade from the public eye. Far from it.

She embarked on a new career as a foreign diplomat: She served in the U.S. delegation to the United Nations from 1969 to 1974, was U.S. ambassador to Ghana from 1974 to 1976, and U.S. ambassador to Czechoslovakia from 1989 to 1992.

FOX News: Former Hollywood child star Shirley Temple dies at 85.

Temple became a nationwide sensation. Mothers dressed their little girls like her, and a line of dolls was launched that are now highly sought-after collectables. Her immense popularity prompted President Franklin D. Roosevelt to say that “as long as our country has Shirley Temple, we will be all right.”

“When the spirit of the people is lower than at any other time during this Depression, it is a splendid thing that for just 15 cents, an American can go to a movie and look at the smiling face of a baby and forget his troubles,” Roosevelt said.

She followed up in the next few years with a string of hit films, most with sentimental themes and musical subplots. She often played an orphan, as in “Curly Top,” where she introduced the hit “Animal Crackers in My Soup,” and “Stowaway,” in which she was befriended by Robert Young, later of “Father Knows Best” fame.

She teamed with the great black dancer Bill “Bojangles” Robinson in two 1935 films with Civil War themes, “The Little Colonel” and “The Littlest Rebel.” Their tap dance up the steps in “The Little Colonel” (at a time when interracial teamings were unheard-of in Hollywood) became a landmark in the history of film dance.

Immigration Quotas …If Its Good Enough for the Swiss, Why is Immigration Quotas & Restricting Free Movement Across US-Mexican Border s Bad Thing for America?

Switzerland wants to protect its borders and regulate immigration. Imagine that, a country wants to regulate who comes in to their country and does not want to allow free movement across EU borders. Those racist Swiss.

Swiss and European leaders reacted warily on Monday to the narrow approval by Swiss voters of a proposal to limit the number of foreigners allowed to live and work in Switzerland.

A bare majority voted in a referendum on Sunday to cut immigration quotas and require that Swiss nationals be given priority in hiring. The result could have far-reaching implications for relations between Switzerland and the 28-member European Union, of which it is not a member.

Laurent Fabius, France’s foreign minister, said Monday that the European Union would have to reconsider its relationship with Switzerland.

“It is a vote that causes concern because it means that Switzerland wants to withdraw into itself,” Mr. Fabius told RTL radio.

Viviane Reding, vice president of the European Commission, the executive arm of the European Union, told the BBC that Switzerland could not “pick and choose” among its agreements with the bloc, adding, “it is a whole package they have signed up to.” She said that the Swiss government must now explain how it intends to apply the results of the referendum.

Radio Host Nancy Lane Fired From Her Job at Forever Broadcasting Because of Her Deranged Ex-husband … “Regrettably Recent Events Involving Your Former Husband has Caused Severe Disruption to our Business”

Imagine being fired from a job not because of your actions or poor performance, but instead because you have a lunatic, psycho, deranged ex-spouse.

Nancy Lane was best known as Daisy or Lexi and was a popular radio host on two of Forever Broadcasting’s stations, WFGI-FM, Froggy 95, and WRKW-FM, Rocky 99, in Johnstown, PA. That was until last Tuesday when she was fired. But she was not fired for her poor job performance, she was fired because of the actions of her lunatic ex-husband. Her former husband, George Lane, has in recent months threatened Nancy, her family and her co-workers. Now. his actions have caused her to be fired. Nancy Lane said, “It’s defeating to me that my job now has been let go because of violent acts of a person who is clearly of not right mind and not right demeanor. Now another facet of my life is affected by this.”

Nancy Lane told WJAC-TV that the past several years have been difficult on her, but things have amplified in the past few months with her ex-husband allegedly making violent threats against her and her former employer, Forever Broadcasting.

“Not only has my personal life been greatly affected and influenced, terror, fear, all of that, but I’ve worked very hard as a person in the public eye to maintain a certain reputation and now that’s been stripped from me as well,” she said.

Lane, who had a show on two Forever Broadcasting stations in Johnstown, says the termination letter she received  — and partially read aloud to WJAC-TV — doesn’t mention poor performance as a factor in letting her go.

“Regrettably recent events involving your former husband has caused severe disruption to our business and has made this decision necessary,” the letter said, according to Lane.

This is so wrong that some one would be fired from their job because of some one who is a deranged lunatic and no longer even a part of one’s life.  Nancy Lane is a victim of an abusive and crazy ex-husband, yet her employer is punishing her for it.
