Maddy McCann at 3 years old … could there be a break in case after all these years?

London police appear poised to make an arrest in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, the girl who was 3 when she vanished while on a Portuguese vacation with her family nearly seven years ago.

The arrests of a trio of alleged burglars who had been active in the neighborhood would be the result of Operation Grange, the reopening of the McCann investigation three years ago.

“We can confirm that a second International Letter of Request has been sent to the Portuguese authorities by the Crown Prosecution Services this week… in connection with Operation Grange,” Scotland Yard told ABC News in a statement. The authorities would not discuss any further details.

Scotland Yard is reportedly working with Portuguese police to find, detain and question three men believed to be burglars who were operating in the area where Madeleine and her family were on vacation in Portugal.

After pouring over records containing hundreds of cell phone numbers used during the time Maddie vanished, police found a high number of calls were made between these men in the hours after her disappearance

CNN:

After a renewed push for leads in the case of missing British girl Madeleine McCann, authorities in the United Kingdom are turning to Portuguese officials for help.

A letter sent by the Crown Prosecution Services to authorities in Portugal on Friday is requesting permission to conduct interviews in connection with the girl’s 2007 disappearance from her family’s holiday villa in the resort town of Praia da Luz.

Pedro do Carmo, the deputy national director of the Judiciary Police in Portugal, said Portuguese authorities have not yet received the letter, but he noted the latest lines in the Scotland Yard investigation focus on three people. Do Carmo declined to provide the nationalities of those three people, who he said have not been detained.

71 Year Old Retired Police Officer Curtis Reeves Shoots & Kills Moviegoer Chad Oulson Over Texting Altercation … Suspect Arrest & Charged with Second Degree Murder

Father’s texting to 3 year old daughter sparks fatal argument …

What has this country come to when texting in a movie theater results in a murder? This was not a result of gang violence or some teenage fight over a girl. The suspect was a retired cop and the victim a dad. UNREAL. Trust me, I think that individuals on cell phones in movie theaters are annoying, but it is hardly worth shooting some one over, but such was the sad case that occurred in Wesley Chapel, Florida.

On Monday during a 1:20 p.m. showing of “Lone Survivor” at a Wesley Chapel, Florida, it started with a father, 43 year old Chad Oulson, texting his 3 year old daughter and ended with 71 year old retired police officer Curtis Reeves firing his .380 caliber, killing Chad Oulson and wounding his wife.

Investigators say two couples had gotten into an argument over noise.

“The victim was on his cell phone; he was texting. We believe he was making some kind of noise. This noise led to an altercation between the suspect and the victim,” Sheriff Chris Nocco explained.

A witness recalled seeing the agitated man — later identified by deputies as Curtis Reeves — get up and leave in an apparent attempt to find a manager. When he came back alone, the argument escalated.

CNN: Dad’s texting to daughter sparks argument, fatal shooting in movie theater.

It started with a father sending text messages to his daughter during the previews of a movie.

It ended with the 43-year-old man shot dead amid the theater seats, and a 71-year-old retired police officer in custody.

The shooting Monday during a 1:20 p.m. showing of “Lone Survivor” at a Wesley Chapel, Florida, movie theater escalated from an objection to cell phone use, to a series of arguments, to the sudden and deadly shooting, according to police and witnesses.

As a male moviegoer texted, the man seated behind him objected, and asked the texter to put his phone away.

The man who had been texting, Chad Oulson, got up and turned to Reeves to ask him if he had gone to tell on him for his texting. Oulson reportedly said, in effect: I was just sending a message to my young daughter.

Voices were raised. Popcorn was thrown. And then came something unimaginable — except maybe in a movie. A gun shot.

Oulson was fatally wounded. His wife was hit, too, through the hand as she raised her hand in front of her husband as the shooter drew a handgun.

“Octomom” Back in the News … Nadya Suleman Charged With Felony Welfare Fraud

Just a sad, pathetic, tragic story … What a Mess.

Nadya Suleman, better known as the “Octomom,” has been charged with felony welfare fraud. According to the Smoking Gun, the California mother of 14 children has been charged with welfare fraud for allegedly pocketing public assistance payments while failing to report that she earned nearly $30,000 from  public appearances and video residuals. What else could one expect when your only claim to fame is giving birth to octuplets? Now she is infamous for committing welfare fraud.  She is scheduled to appear in court Friday and prosecutors are expected to ask for $25,000 bail. If convicted of the charges, Suleman could face nearly six months in prison.

Octomom, “I hate me”

The 38-year-old Suleman has been named in a criminal complaint accusing her of “one count of aid by misrepresentation and two counts of perjury by false application for aid.”

According to Los Angeles prosecutors, Suleman illegally pocketed $16,481 in welfare benefits, including nearly $10,000 in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payments.

Criminal Complaint can be read HERE.

Even more pathetically sad is that the video residuals that they are referring to is for the Octomom exploited to making porn, ‘Octomom: Home Alone’ (VIDEO). [warning: Adult, no nudity. The video is more to explain the desperate, exploited situation.]

What I do find amazing that with all the fraud that takes place within the welfare system, the feds can only seem to nab the Octomom.

DWH … DRIVING WHILE HIGH: Driver Who Hit 2 State Troopers was High on Pot in Colorado

More from Colorado Rocky Mountain High …

I thought we were told by the defenders of pot that it was not like alcohol? It was supposed to reduce crime and arrests according to the pro-pot folks.  Looks like the authorities in Colorado are going to have a rash of DWH, driving while high. State troopers say the man who drove his car into two patrol cars this weekend, was under the influence of marijuana. Troopers say they arrested 23 year old Keith Kilbey and charged him with driving under the influence of drugs. This is only the beginning. So when will the first chapter of MAHD be formed in Colorado?

Let’s see the reaction of this law when some one behind the wheel kills someone because of being high.

Authorities in Colorado claim a 23-year-old man allegedly high on marijuana crashed into two state trooper vehicles on Saturday.

Police arrested Keith Kilbey and charged him with driving under the influence of drugs, KUSA-TV reported.

The incident unfolded in Denver around 9 p.m. Saturday evening after two state troopers had parked their cars in the left lane of an exit ramp.

Authorities were reportedly investigating a crash in the area and had put their emergency lights on before Kilbey purportedly hit their vehicles. According to KWGN, he collided with a Colorado State Patrol Crown Victoria, sending that vehicle into a Dodge Charger.
