Robert Zimmerman Warns that Civil Suit Against His George Zimmerman ‘Might not be very Flattering’ for Trayvon Martin’s Family

Could a civil trial against George Zimmerman by the family of Trayvon Martin be more problematic that a benefit?

Robert Zimmerman states that a civil suit brought against his brother George Zimmerman, in a wrongful death trial, could be very troubling to the family of Trayvon Martin and could lead to very unpleasant facts that were never a part of the criminal trial. The rules of evidence are much different in a civil trial than a criminal one and much of the evidence that was excluded from the second degree criminal trial where a jury found George Zimmerman not guilty, could be entered into evidence in a civil trial. Sometimes it’s best not to dig up all the fact that took place because they might not be very pretty and may not follow the narrative of a made up story by the media and prosecution of Trayvon Martin. We do not like to talk ill of the dead and the death of Trayvon Martin is a tragedy no matter how you look at it, but in the end, we can all agree that he was most likely not the angel that the media made him out to be. Why drag his past through another trial and open his entire life to cross-examination? I realize those that have hijacked this case don’t care, but is that what  the family of Trayvon Martin really want to do? Is “justice” really bringing up your child’s past to go after George Zimmerman because you feel wronged by a jury decision where there was no evidence to prove murder or manslaughter? That is the question that the family of Trayvon Martin will have to ask themselves.

Robert Zimmerman, whose younger brother George was acquitted for his role in the death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, told The Huffington Post on Friday that a civil suit might lead to unpleasant facts coming to light about the Florida teenager’s family.

“A myriad of things that were off-limits in a criminal trial would come into play in a civil case,” Robert Zimmerman said in an email to the Post. “Specifically, things that might not be very flattering to Trayvon or his family.”

The report comes one day after a member of the six-woman jury that acquitted George Zimmerman on second-degree murder charges told ABC News that the former neighborhood watch captain “got away with murder,” but that there was not enough evidence to find him guilty on July 13.

It could open a Pandora’s box, namely the Trayvon Martin’s cell phone that was not allowed during the criminal trial. It had been my personal contention that had a jury been able to have seen previous texts of Trayvon Martin discussing fighting and knowing that Trayvon Martin had a history of fighting, getting into trouble in school, suspension, and the rest … the jury would have come back even quicker with a not guilty verdict. This was evidence that the Zimmerman defense team said was withheld from them by the prosecution. The state IT director Ben Kruidbos was fired because of his whistle-blowing of the incident.

Another difficulty in filing a civil case in Florida is Florida’s stand your ground law. The statute provides criminal and civil immunity to anyone who uses deadly force in a situation in which one has a reasonable fear of imminent death or great bodily injury.

The New York Post is reporting that Bill and Hillary Clinton are livid, peeved and mad as hell at the comparisons that are being made to Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky and Anthony Weiner’s sexting to females and his wife Huma’s forgiveness of his transgressions. REALLY? Sorry, but Weiner’s actions may be pervy and completely disgusting, but do they really rise to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors what Bill “Bubba” Clinton did with Monica Lewinsky in the Oval Office? We will not even get into the “cigar” discussion. Bill and Hillary are mad at the comparisons, who do you think set the bar so low for politicians to come? Lest we remind everyone that it was Slick Willy who had sex with a 22 year old intern. It was Hillary Clinton who taught Huma how to “stand by your man” for political expediency.

Just curious, when did sexting become worse than sex with a 22 year old intern in the White House? Hmm, How does anyone top that? Sorry, if Bill Clinton was allowed to stay in office and the Democrats did not think his judgement was out of line, how can they say anything different about Anthony Weiner?

Bill and Hillary Clinton are angry with efforts by mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner and his campaign to compare his Internet sexcapades — and his wife Huma Abedin’s incredible forgiveness — to the Clintons’ notorious White House saga, The Post has learned.

“The Clintons are upset with the comparisons that the Weiners seem to be encouraging — that Huma is ‘standing by her man’ the way Hillary did with Bill, which is not what she in fact did,’’ said a top state Democrat.

Weiner and his campaign aides have explicitly referred to the Clintons as they privately seek to convince skeptical Democrats that voters can back Weiner despite his online sexual antics — just as they supported then-President Bill Clinton in the face of repeated allegations of marital betrayals.

“The Clintons are pissed off that Weiner’s campaign is saying that Huma is just like Hillary,’’ said the source. “How dare they compare Huma with Hillary? Hillary was the first lady. Hillary was a senator. She was secretary of state.”

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It is thanks to Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton that today it seems that Americans care less that their politicians act like dogs in heat and their spouses just accept it. The Gateway Pundit has pics of better times between the two “dirty old men” when Bubba attended a Weiner fundraiser. And even more folly of Bill and Hillary turning on Weiner. Could This Really Be True … Is Cumulus Media Planning on Dumping Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity? However, It May Not Be a Bad Thing

Could this really be good for business? A note to the LEFT, I wouldn’t get too giddy …

The Politico is reporting that Cumulus Media is planning on dropping both top conservative radio talk show hosts Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity from its stations. Yea that’s the ticket, lose your two biggest talents and think that you can go forward without a gaping hole in your earnings or listener-ship.  According to the reports, some industry sources said that Cumulus is also expected to move some of its existing talent,  which includes Mike Huckabee, Mark Levin, and Michael Savage into one of the slots. With all due respect to these folks, especially Mark Levin, they are not el Rushbo or Hannity, nor do they garner the audience that these two individuals have. Rush and Hannity are by far the two biggest radio draws, its not even close.

In a major shakeup for the radio industry, Cumulus Media, the second-biggest broadcaster in the country, is planning to drop both Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity from its stations at the end of the year, an industry source told POLITICO on Sunday.

Cumulus has decided that it will not renew its contracts with either host, the source said, a move that would remove the two most highly rated conservative talk personalities from more than 40 Cumulus channels in major markets.

The decision comes after negotiations between Cumulus and Premiere Networks, the division of Clear Channel that distributes Limbaugh and Hannity’s shows, broke down due to disagreements over the cost of the distribution rights, the source said. Cumulus is known to drive a hard bargain on costs, and Clear Channel is known to seek top dollar for big names.

Over at Twichy, they show that Media Matters, Eric Boehlert pretty excited about it. The comical and ironic aspect of his tweets is when he refers to Rush as “hate” programming. Really, Media Matters accusing others of “hate” marketing is like the Obamacare call centers put in place to answer questions and add people to Obamacare working part time and not able to be eligible for insurance.

A note to the LEFT, don’t get too giddy and don’t ask for things they might just come true. Read the article at ‘The Week’ that makes the most sense regarding the potential parting of the ways of Rush and Hannity from Cumulus. The article asks, Who’s dumping Who? Here are the facts and if Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh both leave Cumulus, they will be replaced with more conservative talk radio host. This opens up a potential of more local talent or other B name hosts. It is not like Cumulus is going to replace the #1 and #2 radio audience talk show hosts with elevator music or NPR. Thus, it will add more conservative talent to the air waves. Then, it is not like Rush and Sean are not going to find new homes on the radio and their legions of fans are just going to change their preset radio button to a new station. Those that listen on line will just add a new app. So in the long run, the LEFT who think this is a bad thing, may rue the day that this shake up happens because it just will provide even more conservative talent on the air waves. Oh the horror.

That’s an important distinction, says Hinckley. And if Limbaugh goes to Clear Channel, it’s not like he’ll be off the airwaves. His legions of fans would just have to change the presets on their radios.

And Cumulus wouldn’t drop conservative talk radio altogether — it would just switch personalities, says Byers. In recent weeks, “Cumulus has been quietly reaching out to radio talent agents and political insiders about new local and regional station hosts to fill some of the airtime that will be left vacant by Limbaugh and Hannity,” he says. “Cumulus is also expected to move some of its existing talent — which includes Mike Huckabee, Mark Levin, and Michael Savage — into one of the slots.”

“Cumulus has already tried to position Huckabee as a ‘safe’ alternative to Limbaugh,” says Adam Martin at New York: “A conservative commentator who wouldn’t call people ‘sluts’ on air.” Huckabee doesn’t have a huge following, according to Talkers magazine’s most recent analysis, but Savage and Levin do.

White Maryland Man Beaten & Robbed by Three Black Men in Racially Motivated Hate Crime Attack Who Yelled …“This Is For Trayvon!”

Just curious, had George Zimmerman been found guilty, would “White” Hispanics been assaulting blacks in revenge attacks yelling, This is for George?

The vigilante Trayvon Martin mob was at it again this weekend. A Bethesda, Maryland white man was beaten and robbed by three black men. The 28 year old white man was attacked in the 1700 block of Euclid Street, Northwest, in Adams Morgan in an obvious racially motivated, bias, hate crime. The three thugs yelled “This is for Trayvon” as they beat and kicked the man. Who really thinks that these thugs watched or have any concept of the evidence presented during the George Zimmerman murder trial?

A note to Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, President Obama, Eric Holder, the New Black Panther Party, the NAACP,  blacks, the MSM and Democrats … This is what a hate crime looks like where some one’s Civil Rights are violated!!!

A Bethesda man was beaten and robbed early Saturday morning in Adams Morgan by three men who yelled, “This is for Trayvon Martin,” before attacking him, police said.

The incident is being investigated as a hate crime and robbery, according to D.C. police spokesman Araz Alali.

Three black men approached an adult white male from behind while he was walking in the 1700 block of Euclid Street NW at 1:26 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Two of the men threw the victim to the ground and kicked him, Alali said. The three perpetrators then took the victim’s iPhone and wallet and fled.

NBC – Washington: The victim suffered lacerations to the face from the attack. Police said the suspects took the man’s wallet and iPhone. The police report lists the incident as robbery force violence, hate bias incident.

But this is what happens when you have an irresponsible MSM, President, Attorney General, faux Civil Rights agitators and Democrat party who insight the crowd and continue demands for justice. I hope Barack Obama and Eric Holder are happy with themselves as stated at NRO, where they “deliberately stoking resentment and tension, under the guise of leading a “national conversation” about race.”

Former NBA great Charles Barkley was 100% correct, when he said there are a lot of black racists as well.
