Has This Been a Fair Trial … ‘Justice for Trayvon’: Audio Released of DOJ Member Urging Action against George Zimmerman

JUSTICE?

From the Washington Times reports of the extraordinary intervention by the Justice Department in the pressure campaign leading to the prosecution of George Zimmerman. Since when dies the DOJ get involved with something like this? I guess when if President Barack Obama had s son, he would look like Trayvon Martin.

The legal watchdog Judicial Watch released an audio recording Thursday of a Department of Justice staffer urging Sanford, Fla., city officials and the minority advocacy group Dream Defenders to seek justice for Trayvon Martin, because “if a community perceives that there’s something wrong in the black community, there’s something wrong.”

“CRS is an arm of the department that we call the Peacemakers,” Thomas Battles, regional director of the DOJ’s Community Relations Service, said at a meeting at the Shiloh Church on April 19, 2012. “We work with communities where there is real or perceived racial tensions.”

The findings, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said, “detail the extraordinary intervention by the Justice Department in the pressure campaign leading to the prosecution of George Zimmerman. My guess is that most Americans would rightly object to taxpayers paying government employees to help organize racially-charged demonstrations.”

George Zimmerman would never have been arrested if it had not been for “higher ups” who were h— bent on appeasing the Black community. Was pressure/ intimidation applied to the Prosecution and Judiciary in the GZ trial to assure that there would not be an acquittal? Will the Judge’s instructions to the jury prior to deliberations reveal a bias?

Geraldo Rivera: Jury would have shot Trayvon ‘a lot sooner than George Zimmerman
      July 12, 2013

Fox News host Geraldo Rivera on Friday asserted that prosecutors in Florida had been pressured by MSNBC host Al Sharpton and “race politics” to bring a weak case against former neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman for the murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. …..

“This was a case brought because of political pressure — race politics in this country,” the Fox News host opined. “I hate to say it. I hold the Rev. Al Sharpton in much higher regard than many of my colleagues… But I strongly believe that the Rev. Al is the catalyst behind murder two charge six weeks after the incident.”

“I believe the original prosecutor got it right,” he continued. “I think it is a self-defense situation, a classic self defense when you strip it of all of the trappings.”

This is just more of Barry’s and Erick Holder’s actions to take care of their people. Neither of them are fulfilling their jobs as required by the Constitution.

They are showing their racial bias in all their actions. IMO this is the federal push that made the state take over this case.

DoJ using our tax dollars to underwrite it’s political
agenda is not Constitutional at all. This is not the
purpose intended for this sub group of DoJ. Overall
theme of this Regime is to use our taxes and create
debt all in the service of it’s own benefit and to the
exclusion of We the People’s benefit.

Hi. I think they held off the verdict to Saturday night so that the folks that would riot would be partying or in bed. tomorrow is sunday and they would be in church. by Monday the heat would be over and there would be no riots or such. the only folks that wont let this go are the folks like j Jackson or Sharpton that make their living by keeping the low educated folks hyped up on race. I hope Zimmerman sues the MSM for millions. I will send money to help George defend himself from the like of the DOJ.

Unarmed youth shot down in cold blood. If the black kid killed a white guy with skittles as his only weapon, and then got off scot free, the comments would be quite different. Get a heart. Get real. Find the love buried deep inside you. BTW: I (oops, button pressed to send accidentally) I found this site accidentally and won’t be returning so don’t waste your bile!

SM: This is where you are wrong and you are so afraid of a real dialogue you run off like the cowardly, race-baiters that you are.

Had Trayvon Martin killed Zimmerman in this exchange he too would have been found not guilty because of self defense. Either many of you are just too moronic or you never followed this case.

The false narrative that some put forth that TM was armed, really? Do you know how many people are murdered in the US by fists, hands and feet? Hmm?

Way to stay around and defend your point of view.
