GOP Poll Has Massachusetts Senate Race Between Democrat Ed Markey and Republican Gabriel Gomez a Statistical Tie

As reported at The Weekly Standard, a Republican polling firm has the election for the Massachusetts US Senate race between long time Democrat Congressman Ed Markey and first time candidate Republican Gabriel Gomez a statistical tie. This Senate race is the special election to replace the seat formerly held by John Kerry, who became Secretary of State. Obviously, Republican Gabriel Gomez has a tough row to hoe in the predominately Democrat state of Massachusetts, but he represents a breath of fresh air, rather than just more of the same of stale old politicians who think that politics is a life-long profession.

A Republican polling firm has found that the Massachusetts special election for the U.S. Senate is in a dead heat. Democrat Ed Markey, the longtime congressman, leads Republican and first-time candidate Gabriel Gomez by just a point. According to McLaughlin and Associates, a firm that often works for Republican candidates, 45 percent of likely voters in Massachusetts support Markey, while 44 percent support Gomez and 11 percent remain undecided. The election is on June 25.

Recently, the Cook Political Reports changed the race from leaning Democrat to a toss up.  According to RCP, Markey is way ahead. However, the PPP, what so many have come to believe is the Holy Grail of polling only has Markey ahead by 4% and Markey is polling far less than 50%. This race is totally up for grabs and will depend on turn out in an off-off year election, at a time when Barack Obama is in deep trouble with scandals.

Friday’s embarrassing presser  in San Jose, California is just a microcosm of the Obama presidency. Barack Obama stepped up to the mic for to give his prepared remarks except for one problem, he had no prepared remarks to read from and its not like he actually knew what he was talking about without his staff prepared remarks. Good Grief, really? What is Obama, a game show host who needs “dummy” cards in order to actually function? One would think that an individual giving remarks to an audience has some clue as to what they are going to say and uses the written remarks as something to refer to, not have to rely on a prepared statement to read from verbatim. Especially, when you are the President of the United States. Does Obama know anything that is going on, or is it all spoon fed to him? These remarks were about Obamacare. Are you telling me that this president cannot speak to his signature piece of legislation, Obamacare, without prepared remarks, really? Actually Barack Obama, the only person sweating right now should be you with your multitude of scandals you have inflicted upon ‘We the People.”

President Obama took the stage Friday to discuss ObamaCare, only to find that his prepared remarks weren’t at the podium.

The president twice yelled “people!” to his staff before an aide hastily delivered his remarks to the podium.

“Folks are sweating back there right now,” Obama then said through a clenched grin.

According to Obama, he heard about the IRS scandals and others for the first time when the MSM reported on them. Of course most common sense Americans think that is bunk. However, it looks like the first time he learned about his speech remarks is when the media reports it as well. What a joke.

President Barack Obama got off to an awkward and unusual start Friday morning as he took the stage to give a speech on health care reform.

Once he took the podium, he realized he didn’t have anything to talk about.

“Good morning everybody. It is wonderful to see all of you and I want to thank everybody who is here,” he said at the San Jose, California, event. “I think there is only one problem. My remarks aren’t sitting here.”

As the audience began to chuckle, Obama looked off stage, searching for his aides and uttering: “People?”

“Things by Friday afternoon-things get a little challenged,” he added, trying to stall.

13 year old Sophie Cesati has been missing since Friday afternoon, June 7, 2013 in Plaistow, NH. Sophie Cesati was last seen at Timberland Regional Middle School on Friday afternoon. She was reported missing at about 6:19 p.m. She is a student at the Timberlane Regional Middle School in Plaistow. Police say there is potential that she could be in a dangerous situation.

Missing Louisiana Teacher Terrilynn Monette Car Found With Body Inside in a Bayou St. John in New Orleans, Louisiana (Update: Autopsy Confirms Body in Car ID’d as Terrilynn Monette)

The car belonging to missing Terrilynn Monette has been found Saturday in Bayou St. John in New Orleans, Louisiana by divers. A body was also found a decomposed body inside the car, believed to be missing 26 year old Terrilynn Monette. As reported by ABC News, John Gagliano, the Orleans Parish coroner’s chief investigator, said he could not immediately tell if the body was a man or a woman. An autopsy will be performed Monday to determine the identity of the body and cause of death.  Terrilynn Monette  was last seen March 2 leaving Parlay’s Dream Lounge in New Orleans, where she had been celebrating with friends her nomination for a “Teacher of the Year” award.

A car with a body inside believed to be that of missing teacher Terrilynn Monette was found Saturday in a bayou in New Orleans, authorities said.

The car and body were found in Bayou St. John by a diver with the Slidell Police Department, who volunteered to dive the waterways in the search for Monette, Detective Daniel Seuzeneau of the Slidell Police Department, said.

The body is believed to be that of Monette, he said in an e-mail statement to CNN.

Terrilyn Monette, a Long Beach, Calif., native who moved Louisiana to teach, vanished three months ago. Authorities did not immediately say whether the body in the car was Monette.

Monette’s black Honda Accord was pulled from New Orleans’ Bayou St. John on Saturday.

A body was found inside of the car in the driver’s seat and Representative Austin Badon, who has been championing the search for Monette, said they are “100 percent sure” that the body inside is Monette, but that an autopsy by the coroner would be needed to confirm the fact.

Barack Obama and his minions get poor grades in their handling of the IRS scandal and Americans believe that the IRS scandal was not limited to the Cincinnati office, but went straight to Washington, DC IRS headquarters and the White House.

The IRS scandal is really getting away from the Obama administration as they are losing the credibility battle with the American public. According to the most recent Gallup poll, 59% of Americans believe that high ranking officials in Washington, DC were aware of the IRS scandal that targeted conservative and Tea Party groups from gaining non-profit status. The spin that the scandal was just some rogue agents in Cincinnati has all but fallen apart. However, more damning for Barack Obama is that 50% of Americans now believe that high ranking Obama officials were aware of the IRS scandal, 72% of Republicans and 54% of Independents. This scandal is getting closer and closer to the Oval Office every day.

President Barack Obama is getting crushed on how Americans believe he is handling the IRS scandal. According to Gallup, a mere 32% approve on how he is handling it, while 58% disapprove.  Even more damning for Obama and Democrats is that only 26% of Independents approve of Obama’s handling of the IRS matter, while a resounding 62% disapprove. Wait, it gets even worse for Obama. From what was claimed to be the most ethical and transparent administration ever comes the Gallup polling gives  Barack Obama poor ethics rating and whose ethics are less that that of former presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and Ronald Reagan. With the multiple scandals continuing to snowball on Obama and we have not even including the NSA spying scandal on We the People … look for polling numbers to get worse and worse for Obama.
