Bipartisan Group Of Senators on Verge Of a Deal to Expand Background Checks … This is How Tyranny Begins

So this is how tyranny begins and the GOP ends. It obviously makes no difference anymore what party politicians belong to, they are all after more government control over “We the People”.  As reported in the Washington Post, a bipartisan group of Senators is close to a deal that would expand background checks on the purchasing of guns. This ship of fools is passing this off as a bold first step toward consideration of legislation to limit gun violence in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings in Newtown, CT.  Really, how many criminals or individuals are going to put themselves through a background check if they are using a gun in the commission of a crime. Seriously folks, use your brain. With having some one like Chucky Schumer involved in the legislation, this is just a way of Democrats coming one step closer to universal registration of all guns and tyranny. One thing is for certain, any Republican Senator that pens their name to this needs to be primary challenged.

A bipartisan group of senators is on the verge of a deal that would expand background checks to all private firearms sales with limited exemptions, but significant disagreements remain on the issue of keeping records of private gun sales, according to aides familiar with the talks. An agreement would be a bold first step toward consideration of legislation to limit gun violence in the wake of the mass shootings at a Connecticut elementary school in December and comes as the Senate Judiciary Committee is expected this week to begin considering new proposals to limit gun violence. The talks, led by two Democrats and two Republicans, are expected to earn more GOP support in the coming days and likely enough to move the bill through the Senate, according to senior aides of both parties who were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter. “These negotiations are challenging, as you’d expect on an issue as complicated as guns,” the chief negotiator, Sen. Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.), said in a statement Saturday. “But all of the senators involved are approaching this in good faith. We are all serious about wanting to get something done, and we are going to keep trying.”

Just curious, how many guns used to commit violence were used by an individual who went through a background check? This entire knew-jerk reaction is Democrats exploiting the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting and the murder of children so to pass their so-called crime legislation that will not reduce gun violence.  Because Democrats never let an exploitable situation go to waste.

How does this pass the House, or even get a vote in the House?

Stand tall and man that wall, House Republicans. If you vote for this, you will be primaried. It is that simple.

    4. A Texas Grandfather on February 24th, 2013 1:48 pm

The bill will be cleared for a floor vote in the Senate. Any Senator that votes for this from the Republican side should be primaried as well.

Who are the Senators working on this bill? All of them need to be removed from thier office. This is an act against the Constitution.

Is Senator Tom Coburn speaking on behalf of other so-called Republicans who have joined an unholy alliance with the Democrats on the gun control issue.

Coburn: Any proposal that keeps a record of legit gun owners will ‘kill’ Senate bill
      Published February 24, 2013

Oklahoma Republican Sen. Tom Coburn said Sunday any Senate legislation on gun control that includes a national registry of firearms owners will be a deal breaker.

Coburn is part of the bipartisan Senate panel seeking ways to curb gun violence and that purportedly is about to agree on a proposal to expand background checks to most private gun sales, with national record-keeping still unresolved.

“There absolutely will not be record-keeping of legitimate gun owners,” Coburn told “Fox News Sunday.” “That will kill this bill.”

I believe Mitt Romney, unbeknownest to him, was chosen to fail.. as in boxing, to take a fall.

It is all to convienent that the GOP is now falling apart. More like lay down, roll over and PLAY dead.

Yes, it appears most of the GOP wants gun control as much as the Democrats. Much is at stake if the economy truly tanks, making for a very angry, reactive populace.

Prices are rising fast, and Obamacare hasn’t even begun to plunder whats left of jobs and individual finances.

And as for the unskilled or low skilled labor that voted for this administration. Wait till 12 mil Hispanic illegals are given amnesty, as it will be given, and become your competition by applying for your jobs, especially those cherished, benefit laden, municipal government jobs.

Hahaha Oh woe is you. Discreet or not so discreet quotas will be met to appease our new Hispanic politicians.

Dumb and dumber. This administration does “get it”.

It was the conservatives and the Tea Party who gave the GOP a majority in the House in 2010. All they have been rewarded with is blame.

How Republicans cannot understand that it was a conservative Ronald Reagan who won the greatest Presidential landslide is beyond me.

      REMINDER

      Marc Rubio evolved!!

      Marco Rubio, March 2009:
“I am strongly against amnesty. The most important thing we need to do is enforce our existing laws. We have existing immigration laws that are not being adequately enforced. Nothing will make it harder to enforce the existing laws, if you reward people who broke them. It demoralizes people who are going through the legal process, its a very clear signal of why go through the legal process, if you can accomplish the same thing if you go through the illegal process. And number two, if demoralizes the people enforcing the laws. I am not, and I will never support any effort to grant blanket legalization/amnesty to folks who have entered, stayed in this country illegally.”

Found tonight – And the RUBIO/Gov Scott truth

Rubio- He recently told Rush Limbaugh he believes health care reform is essential to the success of immigration reform. “‘Obamacare’ is the only federal benefit [for] which you qualify not because you have a green card, but only because you’re lawfully present,” said Rubio.

      rightnight,

We are not helpless. Cower, HELL NO. We have great power, but it requires great dicipline. Our individual financial power as a group is mighty.

Walmart was shit scared over Feb’s poor sales reports blaming the emperors’ 2% personal tax increase and late tax returns.

If the American people want to regain power – THE political party will not help you.

Politicians have clearly stated though inaction & action this is not about real domestic solutions, but domestic sabotage. The tooth fairy is dead.

      Decrease your exposure.
Pay Cash, barter, stop using ATM services & credit cards. Get a home safe. Bank only enough money to pay your monthly bills. Why let the bank make huge profits off your deposits only to receive 1%. Pay off credit cards, reduce power & gas usage.

Remember- The banks stood straight immediately, within a week, under the threat of real financial losses; citizens closing their accounts & destroying ATM cards. All planned new ATM charges were immediately rescinded. Simple.

When the industy “pets” of government endure serious financial losses politicians listen, and only then.

      The games can begin

Read about the Australian Plan, on gun control which is what Obama followed.

School chilern were murdered in Austrlia WITH a gun BY a Human. Prepositions are important.

The Australian government pushed for gun confiscation by exploiting the murders. No second amendment in Austrailia.

You can bet Republicans want gun control too, for personal safety reasons. They too know where we’re headed economically.
