Barack Obama Says He Would Think Hard before Letting his Son Who Would Look Like Trayvon Martin Play Football

LOST IN SMALLNESS YET AGAIN … Don’t look now, President Barack Obama and Democrats might look to ban “assault” football …

Once again Barack Obama is giving his two cents and making comments where he is not wanted. With all due respect Mr. President, SHUT UP AND CREATE JOBS AND BALANCE THE BUDGET!!! President Barack Obama stated in an interview that he would have to think hard before he would have let his son Trayvon Martin play football because of the violence of the sport. Before any libs go mental over the Trayvon Martin reference, it was Barack Obama who said (VIDEO) that “if he had a son he would look like Trayvon Martin.”  These are big words from the Food Stamp president. I word of warning, don’t let this meddlesome lib get his hands on football, he will be changing it to look something that resembles to physicality of checkers. Once again, the big government, Nanny state president wants to rid violence from the world. Let’s get one thing straight, Barack Obama’s only experience with football is his constant spiking of the Bin Laden football.

How else can I divert the public’s attention as I ruin America?

President Obama said he would have concerns as a parent allowing a son to play football because of the threat of brain injuries.

“I’m a big football fan, but I have to tell you if I had a son, I’d have to think long and hard before I let him play football,” said Obama in an interview with The New Republic published Sunday.

The president said, over time, he expected the sport to “gradually” change to “try to reduce some of the violence.”

“In some cases, that may make it a little bit less exciting, but it will be a whole lot better for the players, and those of us who are fans maybe won’t have to examine our consciences quite as much,” he added.

I am a huge football fan and have personally played football on every level from Pee-Wee, Pop Warner, high school and college, all except the NFL, and my conscience is fine. Do I think that there are things that can be done to help players deal with this issue and are concussions an issue, yes. Do I believe there is better technology that can be used with helmets, yes. Do I think that there should be better healthcare provided to those former pro-players who paved the way more the million dollar players of today, yes. That being said, let’s get one thing straight, football is a violent game. Those who play the sport know that. Its only those liberals and folks like you  Mr. President who could never play the sport because you are not tough enough to think that you can legislate violence. This is much like your ridiculous liberal approach on gun violence thinking that banning guns some how would take them out of the hands of the criminals.

It is not Obama’s job, nor is it his place to mouth off about his hypothetical son on whether he would or would not allow him to play football. Not unless Obama has some news to tell us and he is like former North Carolina Senator John Edwards and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and has a love child son that we are unaware of. FOOTBALL IS VIOLENT. FOOTBALL IS NOT T-BALL. If Obama had his way he would attempt to take all hitting out of the sport that would reduce it to the popularity and viewership of MSNBC.

Barack Obama is concerned about the violence of football and the small segment of individuals who would actually be affected. Really Mr. President, how about your disastrous economic policies that have had millions of Americans and their families (including children) being forced on to unemployment? What about the one’s who leave the work force all together? How about the children that are harmed by the record number of people in the United States on food stamps? What about the record federal debt Obama has placed around the necks of children, grand children and great grandchildren? This president has done more to harm children in the past 4 years that the NFL has to all players combined from its inception.

A Slobbering Quid Pro Quo Love Affair … President Barack Obama Praises Hillary Clinton in “60 Minutes” Interview

SHAMEFUL, SIMPLY SHAMEFUL … This is just one big pukefest between Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the liberal MSM.

Remember when “60 Minutes” was considered investigative journalism? NOT ANY MORE. The liberal MSM does not hide their bias anymore and frankly, they just do not care who knows it. This Sunday, “60 Minutes” will have a lovefest, kumbaya, quid pro quo,  slobbering love affair between President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the MSM. One might as well call it Hillary Clinton’s first endorsement and announce for her 2016 Presidential run. When asked by 60 Minutes host Steve Kroft as to why Obama wanted to do this, the president responded by saying, “Hillary Clinton will go down as one of the finest Secretary of States we’ve had.” The real question is why would “60 Minutes” want to waist their air time with such a puff piece? This isn’t “The View”, or is it? The “60 Minutes” interview is nothing more than an infomercial.

In this softball interview from the sellouts of “60 Minutes”, President Obama does nothing but heap praise on Hillary Clinton. Obama stated, “Hillary Clinton will go down as one of the finest Secretary of States we’ve had.” Huh, really? The present World and US foreign policy been in more chaos? The Middle East is a tinderbox on the verge of exploding, the Arab Spring has been nothing more than a Muslim Brotherhood and Al-Qaeda take over, the US relationship with Russia is a mystery and North Korea is as troublesome as it ever has been. The Obama and Clinton lie that al-Qaeda and terrorism is on the run has been just that, a lie.  

How does “60 Minutes” with both Obama and Clinton in one setting not grill them on the murders of four Americans in Benghazi and the subsequent lack of anyone being held accountable including those in the United States and the terrorists in Libya? With both of the so-called people in charge, how come the once proud investigative journalism program did not hold both their feet to the fire and demand questions for “We the People” as to why there was a video lie put forth in Benghazi, why were there no troops sent, why has no one been held accountable, why did the cries of help for more security go heard, and how could four Americans just be left to die without any help?

What a joke, you have the President of the United States, the Secretary of State and the presumed next prime candidate for the Democrat nominee for President and the MSM asks no real questions. From this point forward we can forget about any of the media ever holding a Democrat to accountability.

The whole point of the interview was a complicit, in the tank corrupt liberal  media allowing Obama to pay back Bill Clinton with Obama giving Hillary a ringing endorsement for 2016. The MSM was all too willing to oblige.

The Teflon Victim: Casey Anthony Files for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in Florida Owing Nearly $800,000 in Debt

This is just criminal … And once again Casey Anthony will skate on accountability.

Casey Anthony has filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition in Florida of which claims that she owes approximately $800,000 in debt to 80 creditors. Most of the incurred debt as per the court docs is owed to her defense attorneys, the same one’s who some how got her off of murder charges in the death of her daughter Caylee Anthony. A jury found her “not guilty as sin”. A Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing is meant to allow one to do away with most existing debts and make a fresh start financially. Isn’t this special, as if nothing had ever happened.

So what is going to happen when her bankruptcy petition is granted, her debt is voided and then she signs a $1 million contract for the movie deal? This nightmare just will not end.

Winter X Games Athlete Caleb Moore Undergoes Surgery for Heart Contusion After Terrible Snowmobile Accident (UPDATE: Caleb Moore Dies from Complications)

It has always amazed me how these X Games athletes do these tricks almost so flawlessly without injury. Sadly that did not happen during this years X Games in Aspen. Co.  Thursday night Winter X athlete Caleb Moore suffered a terrible crash during the Winter X Games Snowmobile Freestyle finals. Get well soon.

“While Caleb was being evaluated late last night, he developed bleeding around the heart and was urgently flighted to Grand Junction [Colo.],” an X Games Medical report stated “He underwent surgery this morning. The procedure went well, and Caleb is currently in ICU with a heart contusion.”

 UPDATE I: Sad news from the world of Xtreme Sports, 25 year old Snowmobiler Caleb Moore Dies After Critical Injuries in X Games Crash.

Texas snowmobiler Caleb Moore died today after succumbing to injuries he sustained one week ago at the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colo., when his snowmobile flipped on top of him in a violent crash during competition.

“This morning Caleb Moore passed away,” the Moore family said in a statement through family spokeswoman Chelsea Lawson. “He will be truly missed and never forgotten.

73 Year Old Iowa Democrat Senator Tom Harkin Won’t Seek Re-election in 2014 … A Possible Opening for the GOP

RUR-ROH, there will be one less incumbent “sure thing” Democrat Senator running for reelection in 2014.

73 year old Iowa US Senator Tom Harkin as stated that he will not run for reelection in 2014. In a some what surprise move by the liberal Harkin, the Democrats will now have to defend an open seat in 2014. Tom Harkin has served in the US Senate since 1985  and has served in the Senate longer than any Democrat in Iowa’s history. Harkin also served 5 terms in the US House of Representatives and was an early frontrunner for the Democrat presidential nomination in 1992 because of the Iowa Caucuses, but dropped out along the way to the eventual winner Bill Clinton. As reported at the Des Moines Register, saying “it’s somebody else’s turn”.

Sen. Tom Harkin won’t seek re-election in 2014, the Iowa Democrat said Saturday.

It’s just time to step aside,” the 73-year-old Mr. Harkin told the Associated Press, noting that by the time he would finish a sixth term, he would be 81. He said his decision would allow a new generation of Democrats to seek higher office.

The announcement comes as a surprise, considering the senator has $2.7 million in his campaign war chest and was planning a gala fundraiser in Washington next month. Mr. Harkin is a leading liberal in the Senate, serving as chairman of the health, education, labor and pensions committee and having served as a key salesman of President Barack Obama’s 2010 health-care bill to the wary left.

Tom Harkin is presently serving in his fifth term and is the chairman of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. He is ranked as the most senior junior senator, as well as the 8th most senior Senator overall. Sorry, this is just a perfect example and cry for term limits, nothing more.

Hmm, one has to wonder whether Republican House Rep. Steve King might run for the seat in 2014?
