November 11, 2012 – VETERANS DAY … Thank You for Your Service to Protect Our Liberty and Freedom

Freedom is never free and today we thank those brave men and women who protect our liberty and freedom every day … THANK YOU!!!

Thank you to the men and woman who have served and presently serve in the Armed Forces. Thank you for the sacrifices that both you and your families have made to protect out freedoms. Thank you to those that are presently fighting abroad. A special thanks to the families of our brave military.  So often we take the past and present service of our brave men and women of the Armed Forces for granted. Thanks for our veterans should not be just once a year, but every day. Know, that these individuals fight for peace, fight for freedom and fight for the very liberties that you and I enjoy every day.

If you want to help honor a living veteran of wars past, go to Honor Flight.

Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.

GOD BLESS OUR VETERANS!!!

What would our veterans who fought and died think of the destruction brought to our country by the democrats and their thug followers ?

Easy enought to find out–just aske a veteran who is still alive.

It might be a good idea to take a step back, though.

Canada honours fallen with Remembrance Day services

OTTAWA – A large hushed crowd converged around the National War Memorial in Ottawa on a chilly Sunday as the country paused for a moment to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Elderly veterans stood alongside young service members as flags flew at half-mast in the nation’s capital to mark Remembrance Day.

“The younger veterans and the older veterans, they meet today in mutual respect and admiration as partners in the battle against evil. They are Canada’s best,” Rabbi Reuven Bulka, Honorary Chaplain of Dominion Command, told the crowd.

“They fought our fight to ensure freedom and dignity for everyone. They therefore deserve to be celebrated, applauded and eternally appreciated as authentic heroes.”

President Obama Marks Veterans Day at Arlington National Cemetery

ARLINGTON, Va. — Honoring the nation’s military “heroes over the generations, who have served this country of ours with distinction,” President Barack Obama today participated in Veterans Day ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery. …

The president also highlighted the work of first lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, who have focused programs on military families during their stay in the White House. The women and Vice President Joe Biden were in attendance.

“THAT’S WHAT WE DO IN AMERICA. WE TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN,” he said. ”We take care of our veterans. We take care of your families. Not just by saluting you on one day, once a year, but by fighting for you and your families every day of every year.”

What would our veterans who fought and died think of the thousands of Americans have signed petitions seeking permission for their states to peacefully secede from the United States. The petitions were filed on We the People, a government website? Pro Patria
