11/11/11 – VETERANS DAY
We all know that Freedom is never free. And although we should thank our military veterans every day, today they get a special THANK YOU!!!
God Bless the brave men and woman who protect our freedoms. Al we can say is THANK YOU for your service!!! There are never enough things that can be said for the appreciation that we can bestow upon all of your for your sacrifice and duty to the United States. Take time today to thank a soldier.
Thank you to the men and woman who have served in the Armed Forces and the sacrifices that both you and your families have made to protect out freedoms. Thank you to those that are presently fighting abroad. A special thanks to the families of our brave military.
Take the time to check out HONOR FLIGHT, as a fantastic way to honor our heroes. So many of our “Greatest Generation” pass away every day. Make it possible for out veterans to fly to DC to visit the WW II memorial.
Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.
We can never thank or honor our veterans enough. Please make every effort to do so. God Bless our veterans.

Thank you Red.
In Canada … November 11th is two fold. It is a day set aside to honor and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we have inherited as well as those who survived the conflicts.
I am almost 65 years old. I have attended Remembrance Day services and watch Remembrance Day parades all my life. My Grandfather fought in WWI. In WWII … my Father fought, gravely wounded and taken prisoner by the Germans prior to being transferred to a hospital in England where he spent almost two years recoverng. Over the years … my Father seldom talked about his service overseas but … insisted that his children learned and appreciated the significance of Remembrance Day.
However … throughout the past 10 years the foundational knowledge I learned has grown to another level … a level that I am able to relate with the heart.
Thousands of have given their lives in the Iraq and Afgaiastan conflicts … young men who are for the most part younger than my own sons and not much older than two of my grandsons.
My prayers go out to the countless loved ones of the fallen whose lives have been forever affected by the current Middle East conflicts … the current Middle East conflicts where the enemy embraces an ideology … an ideology where there is no compromise … no surrender.
Sincerely, Janet

Ephesians 6:12
We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
God Bless the Men and Women in our Armed Forces and each and every US Veteran.
Thank you for Service!
