Even President Barack Obama is running from the Obamacare ruling that it was a tax, imagine what Democrat House and Senators will be doing this election season? Barack Obama still cannot sell this unpopular law to the American people.
How popular is Obamacare, I mean Obamatax, with the American people? Hell, its not even popular with Democrats and the White House. In President Obama’s Weekly Address following the landmark decision by the US Supreme Court that Obama’s signature piece of legislation on health care was ruled Constitutional because it was a tax, Obama was completely silent on the topic. Not one mention of Obamatax, instead he pandered to the American people regarding the wild fires in Colorado. I might reminds the President that the fires had been burning for how long, how many people’s homes and property were destroyed and how many fund raisers had you attended since these fires began as to when you finally bothered to show up for a photo-op? He talked about giving federal resources to states with disasters, hmm, what happened with the wild fires in Texas?
There is a reason why Barack Obama is referred to as the “Lying King”. The SCOTUS ruling that Obamacare is a tax will haunt Barack Obama every inch of the way to the 2012 election. It was Barack Obama who stated that Obamacare was not a tax and then sent his solicitor general to the Supreme Court to argue that it was a tax. The lies and misrepresentations on this President are breath taking. Now he wants everyone just to forget it and move on as he never lied.
