From The Opelika-Auburn News: Court records show Leonard has a criminal past with guns at the root of the crimes. Is anyone really shocked that this thug punk escalated his violence to include murder? This is what happens when you do not throw these low life’s in prison from the outset.
Leonard’s criminal history is one punctuated with gun violence, according to court records. He was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit and theft in 2008 as well as second-degree assault in 2009 for shooting a 16-year-old in the groin. Montgomery County grand juries did not indict Leonard on the theft and assault charges.
Court records also show two child support claims against Leonard, the most recent on Friday.
Anyone with information concerning Leonard’s whereabouts is asked to contact a command post set up by Auburn police, U.S. Marshals and the FBI in Montgomery at 334-223-5400.

US Commerce Secretary John Bryson Investigated for Multiple Hit and Run Collisions … Found Unconscious Behind the Wheel of his Car (Update: Takes Medical Leave)
Barack Obama’s US Commerce Secretary John Bryson is being investigated for multiple hit and run collisions Saturday afternoon in the San Gabriel Valley area while driving his Lexus. Bryson was finally found unconscious behind the wheel of his car. The initial account is that drugs and alcohol did not appear to play a role in the crashes. That would seem to be a bit premature. Bryson was cited for felony hit and run; however, was not booked into jail because he had been admitted to the hospital. Booze, drugs, seizure or any other medical condition … I think ‘We the People’ are entitled to an explanation. Let’s see if the most transparent Presidency provides an answer. We can be thankful that no one was injured during these multiple hit and runs.
Commerce Sec John Bryson – The Politico
Authorities are investigating a series of traffic collisions in the San Gabriel Valley involving U.S. Secretary of Commerce John Bryson, authorities said Saturday.
Bryson was found unconscious in his vehicle and has been hospitalized, officials said.
Bryson was driving a Lexus in the 400 block of South San Gabriel Boulevard shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday, when he allegedly rear-ended a Buick as it was waiting for a train to pass, according to a statement released by the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department and the San Gabriel Police Department.
After briefly stopping to talk to the three men inside the Buick, Bryson left the location in the Lexus and then struck the Buick a second time, authorities said. The men followed Bryson’s car and called 911 to ask for police assistance.
Just curious, I wonder if it were you or I if we would not have been booked into jail on felony hit and run? What a metaphor. Obama crashing the economy and his US Commerce Secretary crashing cars.
UPDATE I: Secretary John Bryson had seizure linked to crashes.
U.S. Commerce Secretary John Bryson suffered a seizure in connection with two hit-and-run crashes Saturday in the San Gabriel Valley, an agency spokeswoman said Monday.
Department spokeswoman Jennifer Friedman confirmed the information to The Times on Monday morning.
UPDATE II: U.S. Commerce Secretary John Bryson Takes Medical Leave of Absence from Job.
Commerce Secretary John Bryson, who was involved in two car accidents over the weekend and suffered a seizure, notified President Barack Obama on Monday that he is taking a medical leave of absence, effective immediately.
Bryson’s functions and duties have been transferred to Deputy Secretary Rebecca Blank, who will serve as acting secretary of commerce.
Good Grief, The Pollster in Chief Obama Asks His Partisan, Kool-Aid Drinking Supporters to Grade His Performance
BARACK OBAMA, LOST IN SMALLNESS YET AGAIN … ARE YOU SERIOUS?
How desperate and clueless is the 2012 Reelect Obama team? Because Barack Obama cannot run on his record, it would appear that he is going to run on what his base drools over. Four year into the Barack Obama Presidency, and his reelection minions need to ask his Kool-Aid drinking sycophants whether he is doing a good job and grade his performance? Wasn’t it Obama in 2008 who stated these are not ‘red” states, these are not “blue” states, this is the United States? So much for that philosophy as he panders to his extreme LEFT base to see what he needs to stress in the upcoming Presidential election against Republican Mitt Romney. The 2008 Obama election team were lauded for their efforts, the 2012 version is nothing more than the ‘Gang who could not shoot straight.’
President Obama’s campaign is calling on supporters to grade its performance amid a difficult early June for his reelection bid against presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney.
“This campaign is ramping up, and the decisions we make right now will shape our path to victory in November,” said campaign manager Jim Messina in an email to supporters sent Saturday night.
“That’s why I want your input, because you are the ones building this campaign on the ground in your community. We want to know from you what’s working, what we could be doing better, what you care about, and what you’re hearing about the President and this campaign,” said Messina.
The following is a link to the Obama/Biden how are we doing poll. Which of President Obama’s accomplishments are you most proud of? Just curious, where is the choice for none of the above or nothing?
- Ending “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”
- Investing in clean energy jobs [editors note ... You mean like Solyndra and the numerous other green energy companies who were owned by Obama donors that went belly up?]
- Passing the Affordable Care Act Passing the Recovery Act [editors note: You mean Obamacare where 55% want it repealed and only 39% are for it].
- Raising standards for fuel economy and air quality
- Reforming Wall Street Reforming student loans
- Rescuing the U.S. auto industry [editors note: Obama pulled a Romney/Bain Capital and laid off/reduced the number of dealerships in order to rescue it].
- Responsibly ending the war in Iraq
- Standing up for equal pay
- Supporting same-sex marriage
- Taking the fight to al-Qaeda . [editors note: How is this any different from what GWB did?]
Hmm, notice you do not see any option to choose about job creation, recovering from the recession, lowering the budget, lowering gas prices or the success of all those jobs from the $787 billion stimulus?
