Barack Obama Looks to Cut Military Healthcare (Tricare) But Not for Unionized Civilian Defense Workers

Barack Obama, “Union” Commander in Chief …

If anyone was still wondering which side of the fence that Obama stood on when it comes to the US military, they need look no farther than his proposed budget. Obama looks to cut healthcare benefits for active duty and retired US military, while while leaving unionized civilian defense workers’ benefits unchanged. Go figure.

The Obama administration’s proposed defense budget calls for military families and retirees to pay sharply more for their healthcare, while leaving unionized civilian defense workers’ benefits untouched. The proposal is causing a major rift within the Pentagon, according to U.S. officials. Several congressional aides suggested the move is designed to increase the enrollment in Obamacare’s state-run insurance exchanges.

The disparity in treatment between civilian and uniformed personnel is causing a backlash within the military that could undermine recruitment and retention.

The Gateway Pundit reminds us that Barack Obama cut pay for military men and women serving in harm’s way starting this month. Nice, eh? One would think that of all individuals employed by the US government, the US military would be priority one.

This hardly seems FAIR Mr. President, since you are so fond of everything being such. I would also agree with the Lonely Conservative and her questioning of your admins priorities when it comes to healthcare.

Distribution of We the People’s $$$ is the
mechanism of control. Look where it is
handed out by this President and understand
how it buys allegiance to the hander-outer
in chief! Voting for the hand that feeds you
is the technique. Buying votes is getting more
expensive during hard times he’s created, but,
not to worry, debt accumulation will solve that.

The taxpayers money does not belong to Obama but he thinks so!!!!!!!! He’s an enemy to the United States of America. Has ruined our economy and caused monumental debt for generations to come. We need to be aware of the damage he will cause for the remainder of the year. A lot of it will come out of spite because he is going to loose the re-election. He needs tape over his mouth, hands tied behind his back, take his pen away in case he tries to write or sign anymore laws or documents with his toes.
