46 Year Old Dawna Natzke Missing Since December 21, 2011 in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas (UPDATE: Body Found, No Positive ID Yet)

46 year old Dawna Natzka has been missing since December 21, 2011. She was last seen leaving a Christmas party in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas where she worked as a police dispatcher. Dawna is described as 5’6″ with brown hair with blonde highlights and brown eyes.

“Somebody please call,” urged Hot Springs Village Police Lt. Ricky Middleton. “We need some help.”

Specifically, police need help finding mother of three and dispatcher Dawna Natzke.

“She’s family, and we’re going to do everything we can to try to find her,” said Middleton.

Her vehicle, a 1997 teal green Ford Escort Wagon, was found burned  abandoned in the Ouachita National Forest off Ark. Highway 298. However, the mother of three is still missing. The fact that her vehicle was found burned cannot be a good sign. Usually this is done as an effort to hide evidence.

Police found the charred remains of Natzke’s 1997 teal green Ford Escort Wagon three days later off Arkansas Highway 298 in the Ouachita National Forest. The vehicle has been sent to a state crime lab, according to the station.

Dog teams were reportedly called to search the area Monday, but uncovered no trace of the missing woman.

UPDATE I: Body Found During Search for Missing Arkansas Woman Dawna Natzke.

Although there has been no positive identification, it is hard to believe that the body found is not that of missing Dawna Natzke. How many woman are missing, especially in such close proximity to her home.

Arkansas authorities say searchers looking for a police dispatcher who has been missing for over a week have found a body several miles from her home.

Hot Springs Village police dispatcher Bill Scarcella says searchers found the body Saturday morning near Jessieville. He declined to say whether investigators believe the body is that of fellow dispatcher Dawna Natzke and said the body had not yet been positively identified.

For those who are concerned what Barack Obama will do next after the 2012 elections, he need to look no further than former Pennsylvania’s US Senator Arlen Specter . After all, for the past three years the joke has been on America.

Former Senator Arlen Specter (PA-D-R-D) actually performed in a Philly night club as a comedian last night. Honestly, some of this stuff was rather funny, although his delivery had a lot to be worked on.  As a politicians who switched parties depending on which way the wind blew rather than any core conviction, the joke was usually always on us.

The longtime Pennsylvania senator performed at an open-mic night at the Helium Comedy Club in Philadelphia on Tuesday, continuing a post-politics foray into standup.

Specter told the crowd he’s “been in comedy now for 30 years” and took shots at former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and others in his act. Former President Bill Clinton and current Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich were also targets of Specter quips. Former candidate Herman Cain wasn’t exempt either.

For example, he said he didn’t vote to impeach Clinton because they were friends, despite the “body of evidence.” He even worked in a joke about Clinton and Viagra.

So do not fret Barack Obama, there is a job for you after 2012. Its not like you have not been the Comedian in Chief while you have been President as the World burned.

Barack Obama Wants to Raise the Debt Ceiling Again … Borrow Another $1.2 Trillion on Chinese Credit Card

Remember when candidate Obama called W “unpatriotic” for borrowing?

You can’t be serious? Wouldn’t it be nice if “WE THE PEOPLE” had an unlimited budget and debt ceiling as well? We at Scared Monkeys cover political, current events, missing persons stories and true crime. These days the real “TRUE CRIME” is what is being perpetrated on the American people by our Government.

President Barack Obama will ask Congress to raise the debt ceiling once again. Who honestly thinks that this is the way that one handles paying their bills when they spend more than they take in?  Obama is expected to ask for authority to increase the borrowing limit by $1.2 trillion.

The White House plans to ask Congress by the end of the week for an increase in the government’s debt ceiling to allow the United States to pay its bills on time, according to a senior Treasury Department official on Tuesday.

The approval is expected to go through without a challenge, given that Congress is in recess until later in January and the request is in line with an agreement to keep the U.S. government funded into 2013.

The debt is projected to fall within $100 billion of the current cap by December 30, when the United States has $82 billion in interest on its debt and payments such as Social Security coming due. President Barack Obama is expected to ask for authority to increase the borrowing limit by $1.2 trillion, part of the spending authority that was negotiated between Congress and the White House this summer.

As the Lonely Conservative opines, America is not safe from this President even when he is on his million dollar vacation in Hawaii and playing his 90th round of golf. A tax and spend liberal like Obama always finds time to tax and spend and raise the debt to even higher levels.  The new debt limit will go up to almost $16.4 trillion. That’s $16,400,000,000,000!!! According to the Politico, Democratic Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska will announce today that he is retiring after two terms. Does this really come as a shock to any one? Ben Nelson, who went against the will of the Nebraska voters and took the “Corn Husker” kick back and then voted in favor of Obamacare was a “politically” dead man walking.  The rats are leaving the sinking ship. They followed Obama against the will of the people and now those that did not pay the price in the 2012 election will do so in 2012.

Democratic Sen. Ben Nelson of Nebraska will announce today that he is retiring after two terms, a serious blow to Democratic efforts to hold onto their majority in the chamber next November.

Nelson is scheduled to hold a press conference back home in Nebraska as early as today to make his decision official, said several Democratic insiders close to the leadership.

The 70-year-old Nelson was considered one of the most endangered Democratic incumbents this cycle. GOP-affiliated outside groups have already dumped hundreds of thousands of dollars into TV ads bashing Nelson, while the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spent over $1 million on their own ad blitz to bolster his image.

Obviously Nelson read the hand writing on the wall and did not want to go out with a loss. Instead, Harry Reid will.

After committing political suicide and voting for Obamacare, Nelson then tried to save face with the “RED” state of Nebraska and told fellow Cornhuskers that, “I think it was a mistake to take health care on as opposed to continuing to spend the time on the economy”. Ben Nelson has no one to blame but himself and President Barack Obama for his early retirement.  There is no doubt that Democrats are in trouble in 2012 holding on to the US Senate. whether Ben Nelson was running for reelection or not, there was no way that Democrats were going to win in the Corn husker state.

Chalk up another casualty to Barack Obama and Obamacare. Democrats actually thought that WE THE PEOPLE would forget what they did. Hardly. Presently, 53% want Obamacare repealed, 39% oppose repealing it.

Democrats have a slim advantage in the US Senate; however, it will be almost impossible for them to retain power following the 2012 elections. They could have easily lost control in 2010 had it not been for a couple of Senate races and incumbent GOP Senators resisting the wave of change. Democrats are far too vulnerable to regain control.

Other vulnerable Democrats like Sen. Claire McCaskill (Mo.) and Jon Tester (Mont.) also face difficult – although winnable – reelection fights.

There will also be costly races in Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania, featuring Democratic incumbents Sherrod Brown, Bill Nelson and Bob Casey. President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign is expected to spend heavily in those states, potentially giving a boost to Democratic incumbents.

What did not occur in 2010, the GOP looked good in 2012 to regain control. Democrats have to defend far too many seats, many of which are in “RED” states or ones trending red. Between Democrat retirements and a backlash against Obama and his policies, it would take a miracle for Harry Reid to remain Senate Majority Leader. A miracle or voter fraud.

9 People Arrested as Youths Riot at Mall of America in Bloomington, MN

Is this really what America has come to be for some?

All hell broke loose at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota the day after Christmas as hundreds of youths rioted, threw chairs, drinks, punches and anything they could get a hold of. No one was reported seriously hurt; however, 9 people were arrested, including several juveniles for disorderly conduct. Is this their idea of a Christmas flash mob? I think the punk youths missed the point, this is a proper flash mob (VIDEO - Hallelujah Chorus).

Witnesses said the fights started after there were reports that rappers Lil’ Wayne and Drake were visiting the Mall. Oh, cuz Lil’ Wayne and Drake were there, that makes it perfectly ok for youths to lose their collective minds and riot. Good Grief!

Fists flew and so did a few chairs during a large-scale brawl at the Mall of America Monday.

“Anytime you have a large group of people together things can happen,” said Commander Mark Stehlik with Bloomington Police. “But this is highly unusual.”

Shortly after 4 p.m., authorities confirm more than 20 individuals started fighting in the north food court. Cellphone video uploaded to YouTube shows dozens of young people watching while some push, punch, and even throw chairs. At that same time, police say several other fights flared up in other places of the mall.

“There were drinks thrown on the floor and chairs being thrown everywhere,” said Tess Dessalgne who witnessed the brawl. “Everyone started running towards the fight.”

Michael Plumadore Arrested for Murdering Aliahna Lemmon Admits To Killing Her with Brick and Dismembering Body

OH DEAR LORD, AS IF THIS STORY COULD NOT GET ANY WORSE … WITH FRIEND FIENDS LIKE THIS …

Michael Plumadore, the so-called family friend and man who was taking care of missing  Aliahna Lemmon and her two younger sisters, has admitted in an affidavit to murdering 9 year old Aliahna Lemmon and dismembering her body. Oh dear God. The 39 year old Plumadore admitted to beating Aliahna Lemmon to death with a brick and then dismembering her body with a hack saw.It was announced last night during an Allen County Sheriff’s Department press conference that Aliahna Lemmon’s body was found and an arrest was made; however, there was no reference as to where she was found. Now we know why.

According to the affidavit, Plumadore told police that after beating Aliahna to death, he stuffed her body into trash bags and hid her in the freezer at his trailer. He said he later chopped up her body and stuffed her remains into freezer bags.

Police said Plumadore told them he had hidden Aliahna’s head, feet and hands at his trailer and that he had discarded her other remains at a nearby business. Police obtained a warrant to search his trailer on Monday and found the body parts.

A judge ordered Plumadore held without bail or bond at an initial hearing Tuesday, sheriff’s department spokesman Cpl. Jeremy Tinkel said. He has yet to be formally charged in Aliahna’s death.

Plumadore told police that he killed Aliahna Lemmon on December 22, 2011, dismembered her body and stuffed her body into trash bags. He hid her in the freezer at his trailer and later chopped up her body and stuffed her remains into freezer bags.  Plumadore told Police that he hid Aliahna’s head, feet and hands at his trailer and that he had discarded her other remains at a nearby business.

Michael Plumadore admitted that he beat Aliahna to death, stuffed her body into trash bags and hid her in his freezer, according to an Allen County Sheriff’s Department’s affidavit obtained by the Associated Press.

He said he later chopped up her body, stuffed her remains into freezer bags and hid some at his trailer and some at a nearby business, according to the AP.

How could anyone have considered this man a trusted friend? More than that, how did all this begin by the fact that the murdered and dismembered girls mother not spend the $20-$25 for a flu shot and some at no cost? Especially when a parent has a child who reportedly had special physical and emotional needs issues. Now you have the opportunity to travel on a cruise ship on the centennial anniversary of the ill-fated Titanic voyage.  A British company, Titanic Memorial Cruises, has almost sold out two cruises for individuals to mark the 100 year anniversary on April 15, 1912 by following the route of the Titanic to where it struck an iceberg.  Well, let’s hope they do all the same as the original voyage minus that “ICEBERG” thing.  Some are calling this “disaster voyeurism”; however, I must admit, this is a rather cool promotion. The MS Balmoral will be the vessel retracing the journey of the maiden voyage of the Titanic.

For some, it might sound too much like tempting fate – and for others, it smacks of “disaster voyeurism”. But for more than 2,000 Titanic enthusiasts, the chance to mark the centenary of the maritime disaster by sailing on a large cruise ship to commemorate the sinking on the very spot of the tragedy is proving difficult to resist.

A British company has almost sold out two cruises for people to mark the anniversary on 15 April by following the route of the Titanic to where it struck an iceberg. Newt Gingrich Compares Failure to make VA ballot Similar to, ah … Pearl Harbor

I thought Newt Gingrich was a noted historian? He might want to rethink his analogy of failing to make the Virginia ballot being a lot like Pearl Harbor.

Over the weekend we learned that several GOP Presidential candidates failed to make the Virginia primary ballot as they did not attain the proper amount of signatures of registered voters required to get their names on the ballot for the March 6 primary. Among the GOP hopefuls were Newt Gingrich and Texas Governor Rick Perry failed to qualify for Virginia’s Republican primary.

Upon learning that he failed to meet the primary qualifications, Newt Gingrich likened his failure to make the ballot to Pearl Harbor.  HUH? Sorry, did I miss something? Newt might be considered a noted historian but I am a history major myself with a concentration in US History and US Military history. Also, my senior thesis was on American-Japanese relations post 1900.  Dear Mr. Gingrich, I fail to see the comparison, even if you are referencing the set-back of the attack on Pearl Harbor rather than the sneak attack and death of so many military personnel.

Forgive me Newt if I do not believe that you and any other GOP Presidential candidate failing to make the Virginia primary ballot is not considered a date that will live in infamy. You might have wanted to use a more appropriate comparison.

Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich stepped into controversy Christmas weekend as he compared his exclusion from the Virginia primary ballot to the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.

“Newt and I agreed that the analogy is December 1941: We have experienced an unexpected setback, but we will re-group and re-focus with increased determination, commitment and positive action,” Campaign Director Michael Krull wrote on Gingrich’s official Facebook page on Saturday.

Offering what appeared to be an FDR-inspired rallying cry, Krull continued: “Throughout the next months there will be ups and downs; there will be successes and failures; there will be easy victories and difficult days — but in the end, we will stand victorious.”

Gingrich stated that the process to get on the VA ballot was a failed system. That may be the case Newt, but you knew in advance what the system was and what the requirements were and failed to meet those standards. HELL, most of the present US Government process is a failed system and “WE THE PEOPLE” have to abide by the guidelines, process and laws. What it generally shows me is that Gingrich’s does not have the apparatus in place for his campaign. After all, following Newt’s failure to get on the ballot he stated that he would run as a “write in” candidate only to learn that Virgina state law does not allow for such in a primary vote.

Hot Air has suggested some other better comparisons that Newt could have used that would have been much better than Pearl Harbor. They suggest that Dieppe and Gallipoli  as a “unexpected setback.”  Agreed! One might even use Gen. George Washington’s retreat through NJ and across the Delaware after setbacks against British commander, General Sir William Howe in the battles to take NYC. One could also have used Union general Oliver Otis Howard setbacks during the Civil Wat at at Chancellorsville and Gettysburg, only to recovery and be much more effective from lessons learned in the Western Theater at the Battles for Chattanooga and Atlanta. Or the numerous Allied setbacks during WW II like in Burma, the Battle of Coral Sea, and the numerous initial setbacks in the Pacific Theater.

Needless to say, poor choice of words Newt. You might want to better next time, like having the organization in place in a state to abide by the process so that you don’t compare the next set back to September 11, 2001.

Sheriff Press Conference: Missing Aliahna Lemmon Found Dead Monday Evening (UPDATE: MICHAEL PLUMADORE, Man She was Staying With Arrested for Murder)

Sad but not unexpected news tonight … 9 year old Missing Aliahna Marie Maroney Lemmon has been found dead tonight … Our collective prayers go out to Aliahna, I am so sorry so many adults failed you.

At tonight’s police press conference, The Allen County Sheriff’s Department has announced that the search is over, they have recovered the deceased body of 9 year old missing Aliahna Lemmon. It was stated that Aliahna’s body was found at 9PM based on information they received from a person involved in the investigation. No names of suspects have been provided. However, one has to suspect it was the man that she was staying with.

The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is currently updating the media on the disappearance of missing 9-year-old Aliahna Lemmon.

The search has come to an end.

Allen County Sheriff Ken Fries is reporting that the findings have come to a conclusion they were not hoping for. Lemmon was found dead around 9 p.m. tonight after investigators interviewed a person involved in the investigation.

Sadly, this little girl never had a chance. All too often we follow these stories where these precious children are brought up in an environment where we wonder how something did not happen to them sooner. Rest in Peace little Aliahna, no one will hurt you anymore, be at Peace with your Father.

UPDATE I: Person Arrested and charged with murder was an individual that Lemmon had been staying with for the last week.

The name of the suspect has not been released, but that person has been charged with murder. Fries said the person was an individual that Lemmon had been staying with for the last week. The suspect was a friend of the family. The Sheriff said they had interviewed the person multiple times to gather information.

Fries stated that Lemmon’s body has been discovered in northern Allen County. Additional information about where her body found was not released.

UPDATE II: 39 year old Mike Plumadore, a neighbor and friend of Aliahna’s family, has been charged with murder.
