Yup, they are just like the Tea Party. Sorry, I can’t remember the last time that there was anyone shot and killed at a Tea Party event. More from the Obama backed peaceful protesting … it’s an East – West thing.
The Occupy protesters continue to show America that they are nothing more than out of control extremists. This time they are not vandalizing, assaulting or raping … now we have Occupy members being shot and killed. Dateline, Occupy Burlington … a 35 year old man has died from a gun shot wound that is being called self inflicted. I am not sure if these folks need to be carrying weapons.
Police said rules for the encampment may change and that police would need to take control of the park for at least 24 hours to investigate the death.
A 35-year-old man died of a gunshot wound at the scene of the Occupy Burlington encampment this afternoon. Occupiers said they understood the shot to be self inflicted.
Not to be outdone, a man is also shot and killed near the Occupy Oakland encampment.
A man was shot and killed this evening near the Occupy Oakland encampment outside City Hall, inflaming debate over whether the month-old gathering should be allowed to remain.
As Weasel Zippers reminds us all, Tea Party shootings still stuck at zero.
UPDATE I: The future of Occupy Burlington is up in the air after city closed half of City Hall Park to investigate death of protester.

The TEA (Taxed Enough Already) party participants
have not chosen to disrupt the towns and businesses
by ‘Squat Camping Illegally’. This camping phenomenon
is extraordinary and outside the laws I suspect. It is
like a ’60s gathering of dropouts and no-accounts.
These idle idiots are welcoming the end of freedom for
themselves if their demands were to be met.

You are aware that for every one un-employed protester, there are 3 un-employed TEA partiers? You give america the name that the world has chosen to ascribe us. These protesters are standing up for what they believe in, as indivduals and as a large group, while you are at home slandering their name wishing death upon them? SM: Scolding? I am stating an opinion. It is beyond disgusting an reprehensible to attack, target and stalk school kids. If you can’t agree with that, you have some serious issues. If you have not figured it out yet, SM is a victims rights advocate site, especially for children. That means when crimes are committed by predators or OWS types.
I do not advocate violence; however, the OWS protesters certainly do. It has been documented in many instances throughout their actions across America. This is exactly what the OWS movement is about, violence and revolution.
