California Gov. Jerry Brown Bans Tanning Beds for Minors

Unreal, with all the issues plaguing California, Governor Jerry Brown signs a bill banning all minors under the age of 18 from using tanning beds. Just another example of “big brother” government interference into individuals lives. So much for freedom of choice.

Minors in the state of California will no longer be allowed to use tanning beds after Governor Jerry Brown signed a bill on Sunday prohibiting anyone under the age of 18 from using ultraviolet tanning devices.

California is the first state in the nation to ban minors from using tanning beds, legislators said.

Previously, California had banned minors under the age of 14 from using tanning beds, but allowed those between 14 and 18 years of age to use tanning beds with parental consent.

Here is the flaw with the liberal logic, “if everyone knew the true dangers of tanning beds, they’d be shocked. Skin cancer is a rising epidemic and the leading cause of cancer death for women between 25 and 29.” Um, if tanning baeds are so dangerous and this is really about health, why aren’t they banned altogether? However, as stated at the Gateway Pundit, tanning beds for minors bad, but abortion is perfectly ok.

Moombeam signed the Dream Act this weekend, which allows illegals to get Pell grants and any state funds for college. The Dems/leftist are even outraged over this. Already getting signatures to repeal the act. Also to recall Moonbeam, this crosses party lines.

Hi, Jayne—when I read about this as you stated above, I literally choked on my Water!

It is enraging, quite frankly. I won’t go in to a long diatribe about my Husband & I worrying how the hell to pay for College Tuition for our own teenagers in a few years- but never, I mean never have I taken another kick to the gut like this so hard.

TIME TO TIGHTEN THE BORDERS—not give more of our tax dollars to damn ILLEGAL ALIENS!

Sorry, but it pisses me off.
