Michelle Le went missing on May 27, 2011 after she left a Hayward hospital, where she was training, in order to retrieve something from her car. Police have previously arrested Giselle Esteban, a high school friend of Michelle Le in Union City on a murder charge.

Also, there was blood and DNA evidence connecting Estaban to the disappearance as well as both women’s phones had “traveled on a similar path” from the hospital to other locations in Alameda County immediately after Le disappeared.

Police said they found traces of Le’s blood inside her SUV and physical evidence that Esteban had also been inside the vehicle, as well as Le’s DNA on one of Esteban’s shoes.

Eleanor Mondale Poling & Kara Kennedy Both Pass Away at the Age of 51

How tragic … Two daughters of Democrat Senators die far too young.

Kara Kennedy, the oldest child of the late Massachusetts Senator Edward “Ted” Kennedy, died of a heart attack at the age of 51 at a Washington area health club on Friday. Kara Kennedy, graduated from Tufts University, was a
filmmaker and television producer and accepted Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009 for her dad Ted Kennedy on his behalf, shortly before he died. Kara Kennedy was diagnosed in 2003 with lung cancer and beat the hideous disease. Sadly, she has passed away and far too soon. More at the LA Times.  Kara Kennedy is survived by her children Grace and Max, her mother Joan, her brothers Ted Kennedy Jr. and Patrick Kennedy, as well as her stepmother Victoria Reggie Kennedy and stepsiblings Curran and Caroline Raclin.

“She’s with dad,” Patrick Kennedy said. Their father died in 2009 at age 77 after battling a brain tumor.

Kara Kennedy had herself battled lung cancer: In 2003, doctors removed a malignant tumor. Patrick Kennedy said that his sister loved to exercise, but that he thinks her cancer treatment “took quite a toll on her and weakened her physically.”

“Her heart gave out,” he said.

Eleanor Mondale passes out campaign literature for her father, Democratic presidential nominee Walter Mondale, Oct. 29, 1984, on Chicago’s Michigan Avenue.

Continuing the sad and tragic news, Eleanor Mondale Poling, a former TV  and radio personality and the daughter of former Vice President Walter F. Mondale, died Saturday in Prior Lake, MN at the age of 51 from brain cancer.  She had stints at Minneapolis radio station WLOL-FM, on cable television at E! Entertainment and ESPN and network TV on CBS’ “This Morning,” . Personally from dealing with this in my own family, I know how terrible brain cancer can be.  She is survived by her husband Chan Poling and her parents, her brothers, Ted Mondale, a former Minnesota state senator, and William H. Mondale, a former assistant attorney general of Minnesota.

The cause was brain cancer, which she had been battling since 2005, her family said.

“She was a wonderful daughter,” Mr. Mondale said in a telephone interview from his daughter’s home, where relatives and friends had gathered. “A great spirit, a lot of courage. She fought this stuff almost six years now, and never a whimper.”

Eleanor Mondale Poling & Kara Kennedy, Rest in Peace.

Barack Obama Falling to New Job Lows in Liberal Media Polls … 43% Job Approval in CBS News Poll

Play the latest “Where’s Waldo” game … Where is there an Obama jobs approval poll even close to 50%?

President Barack Obama now has a new job approval lows in a CBS News poll. Obama has sunk to a 43% approval rating while 50% disapprove. Making matters worse for President Obama, only 37% of Independents approve of Obama’s job as President. The Obama Presidency is a political death by a thousand cuts.  Job cuts that is.

As concerns about the struggling U.S. economy grow, a new CBS News/New York poll finds that President Obama’s overall approval rating has dropped to 43 percent, the lowest so far of his presidency in CBS News polling. In addition, his disapproval rating has reached an all-time high of 50 percent.

Views of the president’s job performance are marked by a striking degree of polarization along party lines — the vast majority of Democrats approve (78 percent), while even more Republicans disapprove (89 percent) of how he’s handling his job. But only 37 percent of independents approve, with 54 percent disapproving.

Full CBS News poll.

It gets worse for Obama, 72% polled believe the country is headed in the wrong direction.  Only 34% approve of Obama’s handling of the economy, 40% approval on job creation and only 25% think that Obama has done anything to fix the economy. Just curious … how does Obama get approval ratings in the 30′s and in the 70′s that the country is headed in the wrong direction,. yet Obama has a 43% approval?  Me thinks those on the LEFT are not being consistent in their polling.

In poll after poll after poll, President Barack Obama is sinking fast. However, as pointed out by the Left Coast Liberal, now the Obama backed state run media outlets are turning on Obama was well. When Obama loses CBS and the NY Times, what else is “LEFT”?

RUT-ROH …Gen. William Shelton Says He Was Pressured to Change Testimony to favor White House Backs Broadband Company LightSquared

RUT-ROH, where there is scandal smoke there is fire …

According to FOX News, General William Shelton, the head of the Air Force Space Command, testified to the House  that he was pressured to change testimony to Congress by the Obama Administration to favor LightSquared, a company funded a a major Democrat donor.

Gen. William Shelton, head of the Air Force Space Command, told House members in a classified briefing earlier this month that he was pressured to change prepared congressional testimony in a way that would favor a large company funded by Philip Falcone, a major Democratic donor, congressional sources told Fox News.

Republicans have raised questions about whether project pursued by the company, LightSquared, is being unduly expedited by the Obama administration, which has pushed for national wireless network upgrades.

Hmm, does this sound familiar? Another company unduly expedited by the Obama administration to push for an Obama agenda item like national wireless.  Sounding a bit like the reckless expedited push and funding of Solyndra.

Support for President Barack Obama from Jews Slipping Fast … What’s in Store for 2012 Election?

As if we needed a poll to figure out that President Barack Obama’s support among Jews was tanking following the disastrous Democrat loss of Congressional NY-9 this week. Now a Gallup poll shows that Obama’s support among Jews is slipping badly. Four in ten Jews now disapprove of Obama. What does this polling trend have in store for the 2012 elections and states/districts that have a large Jewish population?

President Barack Obama’s support among Jews has dropped, new data shows.

Four out of 10 Jewish Americans currently disapprove of Obama, according to polling data provided to POLITICO by Gallup, which has yet to post the numbers on its website.

This 40 percent disapproval rating is 8 percent higher than the 32 percent disapproval rating among Jewish Americans that was last reported by Gallup in June.

While Obama still remains popular with Jews, the data, from a poll conducted Aug. 1-Sept.14, is the latest concrete indication that the president is facing worsening problems among a key group.

But Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the other Democrat mouth pieces will tell you that Weprin’s loss in NY-9 was an anomaly. It was just a difficult district for Democrats to win, even though they had not done so since the 1920′s.

EXIT QUESTION: Obama now finds himself in trouble with Jews, what demographic isn’t Obama having trouble with? Barack Obama won 77% of the Jewish vote in 2008, now down 13% since May 2011. What will this support look like in 2012?

  • Obama polling trouble with Whites, Blacks and Hispanics
  • Obama polling trouble with those he carried in 2008 election.
    • Start with voters who call themselves independents. Obama won 52 percent of them in 2008; now, according to Gallup, he is at 42 percent.Obama’s party as a whole fared even worse among independents in the midterms, losing them to Republicans by 19 points.
    • Next, women. In 2008, Obama won 56 percent of female voters. Today, he’s at 49 percent.
    • Even younger voters, a key part of Obama’s coalition, are peeling away. In ’08, Obama won 66 percent of voters 18-29 years of age. Now, he’s at 58 percent.
    • Obama has dropped 5 percentage points among voters in and around middle age, and 8 percent with voters above 65.
