Sheriff’s Patrol Car Knocked Over Cliff by Drunk Driver onto Malibu Beach … Not an Obama Relative This Time

An LA County sheriff’s car was struck by a car driven by a drunk driver that knocked the vehicle off the Pacific Coast Hwy and on to a Malibu beach this weekend. There was no truth to the rumor that it was Barack Obama’s uncle, Onyango Obama, who was responsible for the accident. After all, the individual responsible for the accident was not an illegal immigrant.  It was 44-year-old Woodland Hills resident Mark Liebrecht who was arrested on suspicion of felony drunken driving and is being held on bail of $100,000.

A Los Angeles County sheriff’s patrol car was struck from behind by a car with an alleged drunken driver at the wheel, knocked off Pacific Coast Highway and landed on a Malibu beach Saturday morning, injuring both deputies inside.

The patrol car landed upright, with its front end in the sand, and all of its doors jammed. Firefighters worked in ankle-deep water with hydraulic cutting tools to get the deputies freed from the wreckage, as the front doors were apparently jammed shut.
