Too funny! Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but money can’t buy you love… I’d rather have man’s bestest friend, my Roscoe who, inspite of his weakness for tennis balls. He sniffs ‘em out with the assumption that everyone of them are his for the taking… which can be embarrassing, sometimes. But I wouldn’t trade him for anything in the world!
Funny how I speak of him in the present sense as he passed away several years ago. He was a Belgium shepherd, with a heart of gold. I still cry over losing him. My kids have suggested that I get another, but he’s irreplacable.
I suppose, we all have our weaknesses!
The story is reminiscent of an incident that took place years ago. My then five year old brother swallowed two quarters in an attempt to prevent my then ten year old brother from taking possession of those coveted coins.
An x-ray assured my parents that eventually everything would come out in the end and … eventually everything came out in the end.
