US Rep. David Wu (OR-D) Accused of Unwanted Sexual Encounter by Young Woman
RUT-ROH or should we say WU-HOO!!!
Looks like Nancy Pelosi has more draining to do of the Democrat swamp?
The young daughter of a longtime friend and campaign donor of US Representative David Wu (OR-D) has accused the Congressman of an unwanted sexual encounter. The girls name has not been released; however, as reported at the Daily Caller, the woman’s Facebook page indicates she graduated high school in 2010. She’s also a registered California voter, which would make her at least 18 years old. How could anyone have seen this coming? Really? Its not like all the signs have not been there in the past as its completely normal to dress up like Tigger and send bizarro pics to others. At least it was Tigger and not his “Weiner’.
A distraught young woman called U.S. Rep. David Wu’s Portland office this spring, accusing him of an unwanted sexual encounter, according to multiple sources.
When confronted, the Oregon Democrat acknowledged a sexual encounter to his senior aides but insisted it was consensual, the sources said.
Two sources said the woman believed there was not enough evidence to press charges. There were no witnesses, and it would be her word against a seven-term member of the U.S. Congress.

Sadly Not a Shock, Singer Amy Winehouse Dead at the Age of 27 … What a Shame
Amy Winehouse had such a great voice and was so talented, but sadly her demons and destructive live style far overshadowed her talent. Sadly, today we got the news that many of us feared would happen far too soon … Amy Winehouse was found dead at the age of 27. According to accounts, Amy Winehouse was pronounced dead at her home in Camden Square northern London. The cause of death has yet to be determined, although many of our first thoughts are with Amy’s public battle with addiction to drugs and alcohol.
According to the UK Daily Mail, the Metropolitan police said “police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05 hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased.
Rest in Peace, Amy … I do hope that you finally do have peace.
Amy Winehouse, the beehived soul-jazz diva whose self-destructive habits overshadowed a distinctive musical talent, was found dead Saturday in her London home, police said. She was 27.
Winehouse shot to fame with the album “Back to Black,” whose blend of jazz, soul, rock and classic pop was a global hit. It won five Grammys and made Winehouse – with her black beehive hairdo and old-fashioned sailor tattoos – one of music’s most recognizable stars.
The BBC has a rather telling video chronology of Amy’s rise, fall and rise again before today’s news.
What a crying shame and waste of God given talent. Sadly, Amy’s demons were more than she could handle. I was such a fan of her talent and her singing. I was such a fan of her torchy, soul and jazzy style; however, I knew that it was never going to last. Recently when she canceled her come back tour, the first thought was RUT-ROH. Amy was an exceptional talent with an even more tragic life.
Last month, Winehouse canceled her European comeback tour after she swayed and slurred her way through barely recognizable songs in her first show in the Serbian capital of Belgrade. Booed and jeered off stage, she flew home and her management said she would take time off to recover.
“I didn’t go out looking to be famous,” Winehouse told the Associated Press when “Back to Black” was released. “I’m just a musician.”
Amy sang, “You Know I’m No Good” … actually Amy, you were better than you thought. It is sad that the fame and demons won out; however, I hope that you can now be at peace. One thing that no one can take from Amy Winehouse … what a voice … Rest in Peace.

Louie Alex Sanchez & Marvin Eugene Norwood, Two News Suspects Arrested in Beating of SF Giant Fan Bryan Stow
Police have arrested two new suspects in the Bryan Stow beating …
Two new suspects have been charged in the brutal beating of San Francisco Giant fan Bryan Stow. The attack too place on Opening Day 2011 at Dodger Stadium. According to accounts, one of the suspects has also been charged with attacking two other San Francisco fans. The names of the two new suspects arrested are 29 yer old Louie Alex Sanchez and 30 year old Marvin Eugene Norwood.
Previously, Giovanni Ramirez was arrested in the attack; however, according to the LA Times, the investigation took a turn when a child witness provided authorities with more details about the attack and the time-line unraveled, which essentially cleared Ramierez. It is sad that police first arrested the wrong individual; however, kudos to them for not locking themselves into their first arrest and in the end, making the correct arrests.
Instead, Beck said, it was Louie Alex Sanchez, 29, and Marvin Eugene Norwood, 30, who punched Stow in the back of the head as the crowd let out at Dodger Stadium on March 31, knocked him to the ground, and beat and kicked him before jumping into a car that was driven away by a woman.
“Our goal is to find justice for Bryan Stow,” Beck said during a news conference at Los Angeles police headquarters. Sanchez and Norwood live just houses apart from each other in Rialto (San Bernardino County), and the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office charged the friends with mayhem, assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury and battery, all felonies.
Sanchez was also charged with misdemeanor battery stemming from an attack on two unnamed Giants fans at Dodger Stadium that same night. The men are being held on $500,000 bail each and are expected to be arraigned in Los Angeles court on Monday morning.
Here comes the shocker, both suspects have a criminal past, although their neighbors might want to rethink describing these two thugs as friendly and loving dads. Interestingly enough, one of Norwood’s cousins stated on the KFI-AM Jon and Ken show, “I’m not surprised in the least bit,” said Humphries, referring to the arrest. “He’s the kind of person that’s peed off at the whole world for absolutely nothing.”
Court records show Norwood was sentenced in 2006 to three years’ probation and served 118 days in jail after pleading guilty to one felony count of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant.
In 2003, Louie Sanchez pleaded guilty to one felony count of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, and the following year he pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count of carrying a loaded firearm in a public place.
Despite those run-ins with the law, neighbors described the men as friendly, baseball-loving fathers.
Bryan Stow is still battling to recover from the traumatic brain injury he received from the brual beating on Opening Day at Dodger Stadium.
According to a post on the family’s website, doctors had to do the surgery Monday morning after fluid built up in Stow’s head and prompted a 30-second seizure. Such seizures can cause further brain damage.

85 Children Killed on Utoya Island Near Oslo, Norway … Suspect Anders Breivik Arrested
DOUBLE TERROR HORROR!!! The country of the Nobel Peace Prize has been shattered by violence and horror
The death toll is up to 85 on the Island of Utoya as 32 your old Anders Behring Breivik slaughtered the youths at a summer camp as he posed as a police man. It is reported by the AP that Breivik lured children to him, then gunned them down and seven shot at kids as they tried to swim away to safety. Correction, sadly the number of dead appears to have risen to 91 as reported in the NY Times.
The Norwegian police on Saturday charged a 32-year-old man, whom they identified as a Christian fundamentalist with right-wing connections, over the bombing of a government center here and a shooting attack on a nearby island that together left at least 92 people dead.
The police said they did not know if the man, identified by the Norwegian media as Anders Behring Breivik, was part of a larger conspiracy. He is being questioned under the country’s terrorism laws, the police said, and is cooperating with the investigation of the attacks, the deadliest on Norwegian soil since World War II.
Some witnesses to the shooting on the island raised the possibility of a second gunman, but police could not confirmed the reports. Still, they did not rule out the possibility.
VIDEO Hat Tip: The Other McCain
Good grief, this individual was just pure evil. The gunman showed no mercy, boasting ‘I’ll kill you all’ … as he continues to murder defenseless children. People are still missing from the island as investigators search on land and the water.
Please say a prayer for the victims, families and loved ones of those that were senselessly murdered.
Earlier in the day, a bomb exploded in Oslo, Norway killing seven people and injuring many more.
They charged a 32-year-old Norwegian man with planting explosives in central Oslo on Friday and a shooting spree on an isolated island hours later, in what added up to the largest attack on Norway since World War II. The death toll rose dramatically overnight and appeared likely to continue to rise, as authorities searched for victims on the island northwest of Oslo.
Some are comparing the bomb blast in Oslo to that of Oklahoma City, the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building and Timothy McVeigh in April 19, 1995.
Police are saying that the suspect Anders Breivik was the individual responsible for both attacks in Norway. Anders Breivik had purchased six tons of fertilizer before the massacre. There is speculation that there might have been a second gunman; however, that has yet to be confirmed.
The Norwegian man suspected in a bombing and shooting spree that killed at least 92 people bought six tons of fertilizer before the massacre, the supplier said Saturday as police investigated witness accounts of a second shooter.
Norway’s royal family and prime minister led the nation in mourning, visiting grieving relatives of the scores of youth gunned down at an island retreat, as the shell-shocked Nordic nation was gripped by reports that the gunman may not have acted alone.

Obama in Serious Poll Trouble … Rasmussen: Barack Obama 41%, Ron Paul 37% … Even the LEFT Leaving Obama … Presidential Primary?
Obama in serious poll trouble … Even the LEFT is leaving Obama and threatening a Democrat Presidential Primary. Obamanation, not happy campers.
Once Ron Paul was considered a fringe candidate … now he trails Obama by only 4%.
How is it that a Republican primary long shot like Ron Paul can be so competitive in a hypothetical match up against President Barack Obama? It shows just how weak and disenchanted that Americans have become with Obama. The saying these days is ABO … “Anybody but Obama” in 2012. Obama poll numbers are sinking fast as seen at Real Clear Politics.
In a recent Rasmussen poll, the hypothetical match up of Obama against Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) has Obama barely ahead by 41% to 37%. Obama only leads by 4% in such a head to head match up and even worse, the incumbent president get only 41% of the vote. Any incumbent polling less than 50% in a head to head match up is terrible news, but 41% is disastrous.
Congressman Ron Paul may be a long shot to win the Republican presidential nomination, but he runs competitively with President Obama right now.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Paul picking up 37% of the vote, while the president earns 41%.
But the real story in the numbers is that the president continues to earn between 41% and 49% of the vote no matter which Republican is mentioned as a potential opponent. This suggests that the race remains a referendum on the incumbent more than anything else.
Barack Obama is in real trouble whether his minions want to admit it or not and its not just the Right and Independents that he has to worry about. Now the LEFT is starting to leave “The One”. Obama has been an unmitigated disaster with the economy and his poll numbers are beginning to reflect it. His economic and job recovery has been non-existent. However, because there has been mo job recovery under his watch, Obama has had to make some compromises that has infuriated the LEFT.
A recent CNN Poll shows a drop in liberal support that has pushed Obama’s approval rating down even further Obama has a 45% approval and 54% disapproval rating.
The full poll can be seen HERE.
President Barack Obama’s approval rating is down to 45 percent, driven in part by growing dissatisfaction on the left with the president’s track record in office, according to a new national survey.
According to the poll, the president’s 45 percent approval rating is down three points from June. Fifty-four percent of people questioned disapprove of how Obama’s handling his duties, up six points from last month. His 54 percent disapproval rating ties the all-time high in CNN polling that the president initially reached just before last year’s midterm elections.
How bad is it for Obama? Even folks an the far LEFT like Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) says that it is a good idea to subject Barack Obama to a Democrat Presidential primary. Wouldn’t that be rich. What would happen if the LEFT turned on Obama and actually forced him into a primary? I dare Sanders and the LEFT to put their Democrat primary candidate where their mouth is. The LEFT is irate as Obama has done the unthinkable to the LEFT, touched the liberal Democrat Holy trinity of social security, Medicare and Medicaid.
SANDERS: Brian, believe me, I wish I had the answer to your question. Let me just suggest this. I think there are millions of Americans who are deeply disappointed in the president, who believe that with regard to Social Security and other things, he said one thing as a candidate and is doing something very much else as a president [...]
So my suggestion is, I think one of the reasons the president has made the move so far to the right is that there is no primary opposition to him and I think it would do this country a good deal of service if people started thinking about candidates out there to begin contrasting a progressive agenda as opposed to what Obama believes he’s doing. [...] So I would say to Ryan, discouragement is not an option. I think it would be a good idea if President Obama faced some primary opposition.
UPDATE I: More from The Nation … THE LEFT IS PISSED!
What will the LEFT do in 2012? How could they possibly have the enthusiasm for Obama in 2012 as they did in 2008? The answer is, they can’t. Hope & Change does not even exist for the Far LEFT, let alone the rest of us. Obama made promises to the LEFT and his political agenda has been such an abject failure, that now Obama must now try and compromise on such liberal Holy Grail items like SS, Medicare and Medicaid are on the list of things to cut.
President Obama and his political counselors do not appear to recognize or respect the depth of the disenchantment among Democrats who fear he is preparing to abandon the commitments made by Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson and generations of Democratic leaders to not just preserve but expand Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.
But if they are serious about that fall campaign, they are going to need to recognize and respond to the disenchantment among Democratic activists whose enthusiasm level will decide the fate of Obama’s 2012 campaign. Even if there is no primary challenge, Obama must reconnect with liberal Democrats and progressive independents if he hopes to be reelected. And he will not do so by cutting a deal with Republicans to cut Democratic “legacy programs” such as Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.

Steve Williams, Tiger Woods Former Caddie Says He “Lost Respect” for Golfer After Sex Scandal Surfaced
Talk about left holding the bag … Tiger Woods parts with long time caddie Steve Williams. Like that is going to make Tiger a better golfer.
Days after Steve Williams is given the shocking news that he will no longer be carrying the bag for Tiger Woods, but instead is left holding the bag, the former caddie speaks out against Tiger … he lost respect for Woods when details of Tiger Woods adultery and multiple sex scandals emerged that ultimately lead to his divorce.
Tiger Woods’ former caddie Steve Williams said Thursday that he lost respect for his partner of 12 years when details of the golf superstar’s repeat adultery emerged.
The New Zealander, 47, made no public judgement as he stood by the 14-time major champion when he apologized for his widespread infidelities 18 months ago.
But a day after Woods made the surprise announcement that he had parted ways with Williams, the bagman admitted that he, too, saw golf’s phenomenon in a dimmer light.
One has to wonder why Williams is shocked that Tiger would make such a decision and thumb his nose or tail at his caddie’s loyal service. Come on dude, look what Tiger did to his wife with his multiple sex scandals. if he does that to his wife, the caddie would be quite expendable.
Williams was unhappy to have been dropped by Woods and felt the decision was scant reward for his loyal service.
“I’ve stuck by him through and through,” Williams told 3 News. “Now he decides things aren’t going well for him, and I’m down the road, so the timing’s very disappointing.”

America Ends Its Space Shuttle Program and Era in Space … Atlantis Lands at Kennedy Space Center for Last Time
MISSION NO MORE …THE END OF AN ERA.
After 135 flights in a predawn landing at 5:57 am, the space shuttle Atlantis touched down at the Kennedy Space Center for the very last time and thus ended a three decade era of space shuttle flight. It is hard to believe that the shuttle flights have come to an end, I can remember when it all first began and we were allowed to watch in school as the shuttle program first began. What is even harder to believe is that NASA really has no immediate transition into the next approach to space flight.

Greats pics at the UK Daily Mail.
“Mission complete, Houston,” said Capt. Christopher J. Ferguson of the Navy, commander of the shuttle Atlantis for the last flight. “Afterserving the world for over 30 years, the space shuttle has earned its place in history, and it’s come to a final stop.”
It was the 19th night landing at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to end the 135th space shuttle mission. For Atlantis, the final tally of its 26-year career: 33 missions, accumulating just short of 126 million miles during 307 days in space.
“Having fired the imagination of a generation … its voyage at an end”. So what next for today’s generation to fire its imagination? It’ peaks volumes, doesn’t it? What is the future of manned space flight in the US? Sadly, it means even more individuals losing their jobs, but what is new for this Administration.
A special thanks to all that took part in the US Space Shuttle program, a job well done and God Bless those members of the Space Shuttle Challenger Columbia and Challenger.
Remember when this Democrat President challenged America to space travel … “WE CHOOSE TO GO TO THE MOON”. JFK had a vision for the, “this country of the United states was not built by those who waited and rested, and wished to look behind them.”
