Casey Anthony found NOT GUILTY of 1st Degree Murder

Only found guilty of the 4 counts of lying to an officer. Will end up with a maximum of 4 years less I’m sure time served.

It is my opinion that Justice for Caylee was not served today I’m at a loss for words.

Its Florida. Children are abused and disappear all the time. The mistress made George look like a liar. Cindy took the blame for the computer searches clearing Casey. A real dumb ass jury.

    2. Nay on July 5th, 2011 3:37 pm

“Surprise…..surprise” that the jury got out of “Dodge” ASAP and would not talk to anyone.

How can THEY live “Bella Vita” with less than 24 hrs deliberating Caylee’s death?

Greg……I agree “dumb a$$es” They are just waiting for “Show Me the Money”!!

Well, lets see.. Casey says she wanted out of jail to look for Caylee, lets just see if she searches for her now,oh thats right her searching at bars and hot body contest and in every Tom Dick and Harrys bed. What a Crime, and what a criminal. This makes me sick. But she like the rest of us will face the Judge of all creation one day.

    4. Moi on July 5th, 2011 3:44 pm

Imagine that. As I posted a couple days ago re: the Kardashian girl’s comment, yes, a blind squirrel does occassionally find a nut and Baez did in this case. I had a bad feeling this was to be the outcome. Let us see if Miss Anthony fairs any better in the outside world than O.J. He wound up back in jail for basically rest of his life. Mark my words, this is not Casey’s last involvement with the law by any means, or jail.

    5. yoyo muffintop on July 5th, 2011 3:58 pm

The State simply did not prove their case.
There were so many holes in their argument one could drive a Mack truck through ‘em.
Also, from the begining one could see they clearly overcharged the crime.

The defense blasting the arm-chair lawyers/basement bloggers and “lawyers on tv”….classic!

ps – maybe the prosecution will think twice now about laughing while defense counsel makes their closing arguments.

    6. verna on July 5th, 2011 4:01 pm

Lets just see if she searches for Caylees killer…since she is now certified not guilty. But now she will look not only in all her old places, but few new ones…hmmm…maybe with movie producers and book writting,or hell maybe she will become Joses secretary or Masons, and add to her tatoos as she seeks out Caylees killer.Look in the mirro ,theres your killer! Go get your ass tatooed “double jepardy”.

    7. Miklo on July 5th, 2011 4:12 pm

She is expected to walk free this Thursday morning.

    8. hope on July 5th, 2011 4:20 pm

Agree with Greg. We don’t need to be reminded of the number of missing or murdered children who are never recovered… atleast we got that! Caylee was blessed and will continue to be loved, as will all the other children who fall victim to the evil ones in this corrupt world. Our system continues to fail the most innocent ones among us, but, we will not be denied our faith in the higher power and our hope for something better.

At a loss for words myself !!!

    10. Bill B on July 5th, 2011 4:30 pm

Same feeling I had when OJ walked away scot-free. Can’t wait to see her partying with the gang this weekend so this jury can really feel proud of themselves.

    11. Nay on July 5th, 2011 4:32 pm

      Well, it didn’t take long…….
Alternate Juror, Russell Huekler, is now on HLN giving an interview regarding the KC trial.

    12. Katablog.com on July 5th, 2011 4:37 pm

I saw the program interruption for the verdict and then wasn’t even paying much attention because I was sure an early verdict meant the jury got it. Whoa! Was I floored.

It doesn’t surpass “reasonable doubt” to know exactly who killed Casey. How 12 people in the USA could fall for Baez’s crap is beyond me.

    13. PaMom on July 5th, 2011 4:40 pm

      I’m with you Greg.

    14. sulamar on July 5th, 2011 4:47 pm

Casey will go on, just like Karla Homolka. Karla has gone on. Karla has had 3 children. One child for each life she took. Evil people live among us. Casey may go free, but the public won’t let her forget.

    15. Nay on July 5th, 2011 4:52 pm

Can’t wait till KC walks the Flordia streets looking for “Bella Vita”!!

    16. verna on July 5th, 2011 4:53 pm

I sure pray the Caylee’s grandparents whoever they are on the dad side is would come forward and file a wrongful death case against Casey.

      For Caylee…

      Rest in Peace

    19. Flippy on July 5th, 2011 5:45 pm

A sad day, for sure. I would not have been totally surprised by a hung jury, but such a quick not-guilty verdict means that they all pretty much agreed going into deliberations; which stuns me.

    20. Carpe on July 5th, 2011 5:54 pm

You have the right to be judged by a jury of 12 slobbering morons.

    21. ZaSuSays on July 5th, 2011 7:24 pm

      DISORDER IN THE COURT!!
So now we can all leave out 2 yr olds anywhere and party hardy and never tell what happened to Caylee. Someone tell the jurors PLS if there’s water on the grass, house, sidewalk, driveway and there’s no firetruck in sight, it’s safe to assume it rained!

    22. Wolfgang on July 5th, 2011 7:57 pm

In addition to book deals, etc., Casey will come out with her own brand of duct tape…”When you use MY duct tape, you stick and forget it!”

    23. amandaperson on July 5th, 2011 9:09 pm

who are you Muffintop whatever? all your posts seem absolutely gleeful that she was aquitted. I’m willing to bet you are a defense lawyer or wish you were one? yeah? maybe? i think so

NEVER once did i see any prosecuter exposing it’self in any way-that was the defense doing all the talk shows, and later accusing the defense of exploiting the case…laughing, are you kidding me??? who wasn’t??? baez was kindergartening it, a chuckle was well hidden, doesnt even compare to a high 5er by defendant..not to mention all the ‘cameo’ shots videos caught a defense lawyer in! grow up and get a life….She is guilty, it was proven…not our fault people of our/her peers are too afraid to place guilt…thats just something those individuals have to live with personally. Here’s hoping none of them or you ever have a loved one who may end up in a situation with an unjust verdict as this!

    25. ladydi on July 5th, 2011 9:43 pm

who would she be partying with besides Baez? I cant see all of a sudden her long time 3 years ago gang is gonna want anything to do with her at this point, maybe im wrong, though…the jury, after they see all the evidence that wasnt admitted, will wish they could hide in that rabbit hole. A murder, is a murder, is a murder…doesnt mater how, why, what, when or where… you take a life under unreasonable circumstance, …is wrong, and a death penalty for doing so should be expected.

    26. barbreee on July 5th, 2011 9:54 pm

The perp is obviously a crazy person, and this will all run around in her head forever. I think it was her temper and selfishness that took this little girl’s life. Guilty or innocent verdict, we will never know how the little girl was killed. But there can be no doubt, it was her mother that took her life. Should be interesting to see where she goes when she gets out of jail. Home to Mom and Dad?

One thing that always struck me about the supposedly loving pictures of mother and daughter, it seemed the smile on mother’s face had nothing to do with the little girl. Not exactly a maternal loving look with all those teeth bared. Just a photo op.

    27. cintal on July 6th, 2011 4:26 am

Casey still has to deal with the check fraud charge and may still end up getting some jail time for that. No big deal compared to life in prison, but any person with a criminal record is going to have an extremely hard time finding a job in this economy. No doubt she will be offered huge sums of money for interviews but she also has huge legal bills. Her carefree life is over and eventually the choices she has made are going to come back to her. Add to this the extreme hatred that is leveled at her (far more than O.J.). She won’t be able to go anywhere in this country without facing the judgement of those around her.

    28. Wolfgang on July 6th, 2011 5:55 am

Overnight I am thinking the ultimate punishment may be for this lying family to be all together again in their home with Casey to support for the rest of their lives. Please don’t permit anymore children to be born to her!!!

    29. Just Bearly on July 6th, 2011 6:33 am

Just my thoughts, that the prosecution botched up mostly on the timeline and what exactly happened the day and time Caylee died. The prosecution was a little too ambitious pursuing the 1st degree murder charge and should have gone for something like negligent homicide.
Anyway, Casey skates almost free while most people see this almost like the OJ trial. Casey’s problems will really start when she tries to fit back into society. Too many people know who she is. Just as sad as the fact that she likely killed her own child and got off almost scot free, is all the crazy people who may want to get a measure of revenge or take matters of justice into their own hands if they can get within reach of her. I hope Casey is never newsworthy again, and that any potential future books and movies about this fail to ever materialize.

    30. Scott on July 6th, 2011 6:55 am

Ah…the people that live in Florida are nuts and crazy. They are all on meth down there. Florida is a place mostly filled of white trash rejects….no offense intended to those decent Floridians that post here.

If Casey did not do it; then who did?

It’s easy for losers like yoyo who arm chair quarterback…

She may have walked on killing her daughter but KARMA will catch up with her one day….

She’ll end up white trash just like she and her whole entire family were before the trial.

    31. Scott on July 6th, 2011 9:06 am

She’ll end up just like OJ did in the long run. She’s a sociopath and will get hers in the end….

Just take a look at the alternate juror; that dude fits Casey’s white trash peers to a tee…I can’t imagine it gets any worse in Florida but it does….

    32. hello on July 7th, 2011 6:22 am

      @10

same feeling when OJ walked free? OJ simpson was actually covering for his son jason simpson, maybe you should actually look what time oj left for his flight and when nicole simpson spoke to her mother, there was a allibi and that info was never released, and the reason why was jaded as stuff.

But in the end, Jason was the one who did it, look at the evidence and the storage crap he had and what he said in his suicide note. He did not do it, his son did.

    33. Scott on July 8th, 2011 5:38 am

#32…you are complete and utter moron…seriously; OJ’s son did it? For what reason? What was his motive?

OJ had no alibi; the limo driver blasted that one…

OJ’s DNA was at the scene not his son’s.

OJ’s real rage was shown in his armed hostage situation in Vegas….

OJ’s beat Nicole senseless on more than one occassion.

Keep believing the LAPD had some motive to bring down OJ…

Are you kidding me? The defense would have used that supposed alibi if it were true. How do you know it wasn’t released? Because you believe OJ?

Why do you think his book was pulled where he was actually confessing to the crime?

      You’re a tool!

    34. Chris George on July 10th, 2011 1:15 am

The only reason that little girl died is because her mother wanted to continue to be a filthy dirty rotten cum guzzling whore. Plain and simple. Her team of worthless Kike attorneys and that fucking jury should all suffer a slow painful death. The same thing that poor little girl had to endure. I sincerely hope that all parties involved suffer horrible things for the rest of their selfish meaningless lives. Casey Anthony I hope you rot in hell for eternity, you vile disgusting disease ridden cum dumpster.
