Let this be a lesson to all, especially Nicolas Cage … don’t ever say to the police, “Why don’t you just arrest me?”
Actor Nicolas Cage was arrested by New Orleans police during the early hours of Saturday morning after he was arguing with his wife in the French Quarter. It appears according to TMZ that Cage also taunted police after they had told him to go home. Instead of heeding the police advice Cage reportedly said to police, “Why don’t you just arrest me?” Guess what, they did.

Cage was charged with one count of domestic abuse and one count of disturbing the peace, according to the gossip website TMZ.com.
Cage and Alice Kim, the actor’s third wife, were on a French Quarter street corner fighting when they were spotted by a cab driver. The driver called police and told investigators that the actor shoved Kim, according to TMZ.
Cage has been released from jail on $1,100 bond paid by bounty hunter and reality TV star Duane “Dog” Chapman.

I kind love Nicolas Cage and feel bad for him, He is one of my fav actors and i love him to death ..i’m sure police took advantage of the situation LIKE ALWAYS
Let me get this straight. They told him to go home, but then they charged him with domestic abuse when he taunted them. So they believed he abused his wife, but they were going to have them go home together.
No wonder NOLA cops have what is, perhaps, the worst reputation in the nation.

SM: No, when the call was first called into police i believe it was reported that he had hit or shoved his wife. They probably thought it was a typical drunken incident in the French Quarter that happens how often? That’s whe Cage got mouthy.

not a good news I hope that my favourite Actor will be discharged from this charge soon.
That’s the way the rock tumbles. It bounces; it rolls, until all the rough edges are smoothed. Some of us were born with smooth edges, some were not.
I just loved Next. His most recent movie I walked out of. He’ll do better next time. No pun intended.
This arrest says that (rule is rule and rule is one for all) if anyone misbehaves against law they will be punished.
