Ex-boyfriend, Jason “Blu” Griffith is scheduled to be in court Tuesday morning for an arraignment on the domestic violence charges.
According to court filings (see below), Jason “Blu” Griffith, the ex-boyfriend of missing 31 year old Las Vegas dancer Deborah “Debbie” Flores-Narvaez has been arrested in the past for domestic violence against the missing dancer. Obviously never a good sign when an ex has a past history of violence and the victim of the domestic violence is missing. According to preliminary reports, Debbie” Flores-Narvaez was last seen leaving her home to visit her ex-boyfriend, Jason “Blu” Griffith.
VIDEO – presently police are stating that the ex is not a suspect or person of interest in the missing persons case, even though he admitted being with her before her disappearance.

According to a police report, Jason “Blu” Griffith, was arrested for beating Deborah “Debbie” Flores-Narvaez up in October 2010. At the time of the violence, Griffith and Flores-Narvaez were dating.

According to the police report, Griffith allegedly stole Flores-Narvaez’s iPhone during a dispute. She chased after him and the two started arguing. Griffith then threw her phone. When Flores-Narvaez went to retrieve it, he ran toward her, pushed her down, pulled her hair and kicked her. Police say Debbie had bruises on both legs and found a chunk of her hair.
Griffith was arrested for battery/domestic violence and coercion.

At the time of the report, Flores-Narvaez told police she had been dating Griffith for a year and was pregnant with his child. She told police that while she was in her car following a visit with an ex-girlfriend of Griffith’s, he had approached her, opened her car door, taken her iPhone and elbowed her in the left chin.
The report said Flores-Narvaez had no visible facial injuries.
Prior to Debbie going missing she had sent her mom the following text message. Take it for what it is worth.
“In case there is ever an emergency with me, contact Blu Griffith in Vegas. My ex-boyfriend. Not my best friend,” was the text message sent Dec. 1.
“I asked Debbie what it means, and she says ‘never mind, mommy. Just keep it for your records,’” Elise Narvaez told the AJC Monday.

UPDATE II: Even though ex-boyfriend Jason “Blu” Griffith is not being called a suspect of person of interest by police, rest assured he is their #1 focus at this point. Let’s put the facts together that are available so far that would show motive. Why does one send a warning text prior to their disappearance after last being seen with an ex-boyfriend who she was pregnant by … “contact (Jason) Blu Griffith in Vegas. My ex-boyfriend. not my best friend.”
- Deborah “Debbie” Flores-Narvaez goes missing after ex-boyfriend Blu was the last person to ever see her.
- Ex boyfriend Jason “Blu” Griffith has history of domestic violence with missing Deborah Flores-Narvaez as he was arrested in Oct 2010.
- Deborah Flores-Narvaez reported pregnant with ex’s child.
- Police found Narvaez’s car abandoned, with its license plates removed, in a northeast Las Vegas neighborhood.
- Missing girl sent text message on Dec. 1: ”In case there is ever an emergency with me, contact (Jason) Blu Griffith in Vegas. My ex-boyfriend. not my best friend.”

I hope Debbie is Ok? Does not look good. Blu looks like the one! A lot of gang crime in Las Vegas.
Griffith was suppose to appear in a Vegas court today at 8AM….he was a “no show” but his lawyer appeared on his behalf…so nothing happened to him and now there is a preliminary hearing for April 2011.
While Debbie was shopping with her best friend she got a call from Griffith on her cell phone and started crying saying, “Don’t leave, don’t leave, respect me”…he had also told her in the past that he wasn’t going to jail. I think she wanted him to be responsible for his domestic violence toward her but she still cared. And maybe wanted to confront him about his cheating on her. She also visited his ex-girlfriend which he didn’t like.
Still wondering how her car got into a vacant lot that was fenced and a chain link lock on the gate. Maybe someone sawed the lock and then replaced it. Also while the car was on the lot someone removed her license plates.
Could Griffith possibly get away with this whole thing…he got out of appearing in court, I guess because Debbie is a missing person and could not testify. If they never find her and don’t have any evidence I guess there wouldn’t be a preliminary hearing either.
And I bet someone else drove her car to the lot so his dna wouldn’t be there and if they had found any dna the police wouldn’t know who it belonged to.
