NBA NJ Net Star Guard Jason Kidd and wife Joumana Divorcing … I am Abused

Let us first just say … Jason … Kiss those man points goodbye.Jason_Kidd

Jason Kidd, the 6 ft. 2 in., 210 pound, 33 year old point guard for the NBA’s NJ Nets is seeking a divorce from wife, Joumana Kidd. Jason Kidd,  one time arrested for domestic violence himself is now claiming that he was abused. Who could have seen this rocky marriage coming to an end.

The 33-year point guard alleges that wife Joumana has become “increasingly controlling and manipulative” over the past few years and has kick, hit, and punched him. According to the athlete’s divorce petition, a copy of which you’ll find below, Joumana’s “extreme cruelty” also included throwing household objects at her husband.

Wow, how many man points is this going to cost Jason Kidd? Has anyone noticed the size difference between the two? Jason, you thought NBA fans heckling were tough before?

its very possible for a woman to be physically abusive. She may have been abusive their entire realtionship and he could have kept it a secret. the one time he may have struck back, she called authorities ??it is possible. meanwhile,if she truly is abusive, he should’ve turned her in or left her, from the start.it isnt far fetched for a woman to be mentally & physically abusive , no matter her tiny size vs his “size” ..there is such thing as a double standard when it comes to domestice violence.

Um, doesn’t seem to state the police found any incriminating marks on him to indicate abuse from the little lady. BTW it does happen to some men. But the pattern and the charges seem to state he was the one physically abusing her.

      You do realize 3 things?

      1. We are using some tongue and cheek here
      2. Jason has been charged with abuse himself
      3. In the NBA and sports world, even if it were true … he will still lose man points.

Anybody that keeps up with the NMA knows that this has been an abusive marriage for awhile now, as they are both towards each other. Jason wont lose anymore points than Weber, whos wife follows him around on the road. Lol. By this blog and talk radio I have heard so far today, men just gotta pick and each other when it comes to women. Lol.

Jason Kidd always seems to have trouble on every team has has been with. I don’t know the whole story about his marriage but he seems to be the Michael Strahan of basketball. JMO.

So because a man is bigger than his wife, he can’t possibly suffer from any type of physical or emotional abuse? WTF??? What is a man supposed to do if his wife hits, kicks, and punches him or throws household objects at him? He certainly cannot restrain her. He would then be arrested for abuse because she would most likely have bruises on her just from him holding her back. If you think because she is small she can do no harm, think again. I’m not saying the abuse doesn’t go both ways in this situation. I don’t live in their house and have no idea what goes on there, but I do know it is a fact that many women are abusive to their spouses and get away with it because they are women. If a woman hits a man but leaves no marks, is that okay? I think not. When you love someone, you think you can repair any and all damage. You put up with abuse longer than your friends, family and peers think you should. It sounds like he has realized that they can’t fix their problems and has finally filed for divorce.

SM: Maybe some of you would like to familiarize yourself with the Kidd’s past domestic abuse problems?

Maybe read the links that have been provided?

That would be a good start,

Tawny Kitaen /Chuck Finley..remember them? She was the chick that posed on the hood of the car in the Whitesnake video ? She was VERY physically abusive to him. Once, she beat the sh_ out of him, MLB pitcher Chuck Finley, with her stiletto heel. All things are possible..again, not always the men are the abusive ones

      _______

SM: Yes it is possible … however, this couple does have a past.

Terry … did you mean NMA = National Men Abuser’s ???

Doesn’t matter what sex the abuser is it’s still all about CONTROL!!!

So unfair to say he loses man points. Abuse is mostly psychological, women can abuse too. If SHE were 6’2″ and HE was abusing her at 5’3″ he would be a horrible person. Maybe she threw couches? for all you know. That would hurt. Still it is unfair to attck him only.

Balderdash! He lost many MAN points.

      At Why You Punch
      Me All The Time?!?

      (tongue in cheek,
      of course.)

      It is very sad… and
      this one is REAL messy!

Whatever, just don’t punish the child, right?
The kids never ask for that crud.
