Alabama House of Representatives: Four House Dems (Boothe, Millican, Vance & Hurst) Switch Parties Gives GOP Super Majority
The 2010 midterm election, the gift that keeps on giving …
The backlash continues against the Democrat party as dividends continues to come in from the 2010 midterm elections. The biggest story of the 2010 midterm elections was not the GOP pick ups in the US House, Senate and Governorships … it was that in the state Houses. Guess what, it just increased again. What an impact this will have for the 2012 elections and the next decade.
As if the Republicans did not benefit enough from the political tsunami that took place on November 2, 2010 when the GOP gained 680 state legislature seats, the hits keep on coming. In Alabama, four Democrat House members just switched from Donkeys to Elephants and have given the GOP a super-majority in the Alabama House. Representatives Alan Boothe of Troy, Mike Millican of Hamilton, Lesley Vance of Phenix City and Steve Hurst of Munford all have seen the handwriting on the wall and abandoned the Democrat party.
All four lawmakers who made the jump to the Republican party said they felt their views were more aligned with the Republican Party. Look for this to be a pattern in the future on the state and national level, especially if Obama. Pelosi and Reid continue their far Left agenda against the will of the people. The 2010 midterms showed that any Democrat in a conservative or middle of the road district or state is vulnerable.
Republicans now have a super-majority in the Alabama House after four Democrats defected and joined the GOP on Monday.
Rep. Alan Boothe of Troy, Rep. Mike Millican of Hamilton, Rep. Lesley Vance of Phenix City and Rep. Steve Hurst of Munford all jumped ship on Monday, giving Republicans 66 seats in the House and a filibuster-proof majority.

House Republican Midterm Gains Rise to 62 seats, Correction 63 … Maffei (D) Concedes to Ann Marie Buerkle (R) in NY 25
62 and counting, make it 63 … for a total of 242 House seats.
The House Republican gains from the 2010 midterm elections have reached 62, correction 63 seats from the 2010 midterm elections. US Rep Solomon Ortiz (D-TX) conceded defeat to Republican challenger Blake Farenthold in the Texas 27th Disctrict race. This victory completes one of 2010′s biggest upsets on the House side and brings the number of GOP House gains this year to 62.
Rep. Solomon Ortiz (D-Texas) conceded defeat to Republican challenger Blake Farenthold late Monday after the recount he requested barely made a dent in the Republican’s election night lead. Farenthold’s final margin of victory stood at 648 votes.

Velma Hart, the Woman who Told President Obama She was scared about her Financial Future & Tired of Defending Him Has Lost Her Job
Who would have ever thought that we would ever hear the name Velma Hart, ever again? Hey Velma, how’s that Obama “hopey, changey” stuff working for ya?
Yes Velma Hart … this is your new reality. It looks like “franks and beans” will be in Velma Hart’s future after all … Yet another dissatisfied Obama voter and supporter.
Velma Hart, the woman who embarrassed President Barack Obama on a national stage of the CNBC Town Hall and told the president that she was worried about her financial future and was exhausted of defending “The One’s” policies has been laid off and lost her job. How sad and ironic is it that the face of “WE THE PEOPLE” questioning President Barack Hussein Obama and his pathetic and failed job recovery and economic policies has in fact lost her job.
I’m also a mother, I’m a wife, I’m an American veteran, and I’m one of your middle-class Americans.
Quite frankly, I’m exhausted. Exhausted of defending you, defending your administration, defending the man for change I voted for, and deeply disappointed with where we are right now. I’ve been told that I voted for a man who said he was going to change things in a meaningful way for the middle class. I’m one of those people and I’m waiting, sir, I’m waiting.

Confirmed … The Jaw Bone Found in Aruba Does Not Belong to Natalee Holloway (Update: Official Statement)
BREAKING NEWS ARUBA …
It has been confirmed by Aruba officials this afternoon, the jaw bone found recently on the beach near the Phoenix Hotel DOES NOT belong to Natalee Holloway. The long awaited answer that was thought to provide some clarity to the mystery of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway … remains a mystery.
Authorities said dental records used to compare the small amount of the DNA on the bone did not match.
“Based on dental records, it can be ruled out that the bone fragment came from Natalee Holloway,” the Aruban Prosecutor’s Office siad in a statement.
UPDATE I: Natalee Holloway: Jawbone Not That of Missing American Teen
“The bone appeared to have been exposed to various (weather) influences and proved to be porous,” the statement read.
For the time being, the forensics team has stopped working to test the DNA.
“There is still a possibility that the molar from the jawbone could be used for further efforts to generate a DNA profile,” the statement read. “However, this follow-up study of said molar would inhibit future research into identifying the person from whom the bone originates.”
It is believed a recent hurricane may have stirred up the beach, leading tourists to find the bone outside a hotel.
UPDATE II: Official Statement from Aruba:
Bone material not of Natalee Holloway
At the request of the Aruban Public Prosecutor’s Office the Netherlands Forensic Institute has conducted forensic anthropological and DNA investigations on bone material, a piece of jawbone with a tooth. These investigations were executed simultaneously. Detailed examination by the NFI excludes the possibility that the bone material found in Aruba is that of Natalee Holloway.
