Rush Limbaugh calls Obama a jackass, an economic illiterate and an economic ignoramus.
A note to the media and bloggers both on the Left and Right, if what Limbaugh said was vitrioland over the top, what would you call what the US politicians, including the President have said about the American people for the last two years? We just found out today, really? Americans have been called racists and Nazis for not agreeing with the policies of Obama. Democrat politicians have stated that Republicans want people to die quickly. Those who disagree with Obamacare have been called “evil hate mongers”. Now you think the line has been crossed? Spare me!
At what point does political rhetoric turn to disrespectful vitriol? Some are suggesting that we found out today when conservative talk radio provocateur Rush Limbaugh ostensibly referred to President Obama as “you jackass!”
Sorry, but conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh just vented what a majority of Americans and Business people think. There is a reason why only 42% of Americans believe Obama is doing a good job as President while 49% disapprove. His handling of the economy is looked upon as even worse. I would dare say even non-Ditto heads would agree with Rush’s comments. Sorry, but its not too far. We have a MSM who refuses to confront this President and we have millions of people unemployed and collecting food stamps. Enough is enough. If a sitting President can disregard the will of the people and treat them as Obama has done, criticism of his policies is hardly vitriol.
As the economy gets no better, unemployment is heading up and business is sitting on money because of the uncertainty of Obama and Democrats … Obama does nothing to extend the Bush tax cuts. Derision? Sorry, I would dare say many people have said the same or worse, they just don’t have a talk show to vent their views or opinions. But what they do have is a vote this November 2, 2010.
Derision of the president on his program is nothing new, but Rush Limbaugh’s tone today may have struck the ears of regular listeners as particularly disdainful, taking his contempt of the president to a new level.
The nation’s preeminent conservative talk radio host referred to Mr. Obama as a “jackass,” an “economic illiterate” and an “idiot, where capitalism is concerned.”
Remember when the LEFT used to call GWB rigid and set in his ways when it came to Iraq? What’s the difference with this issue? Obviously, nothing Obama is doing is working to provide an environment

“Extend the tax cut to everybody, and you’ll inspire confidence,” Limbaugh argued, saying that added degree of certainty would free business to spend some of the capital they’re holding onto and hire people, “which, once upon a time, we were told, was Obama’s top priority.”
For not getting this, “He’s a jackass. He’s an economic illiterate. He’s an economic ignoramus.”
“And that’s being charitable,” Limbaugh said.

The difference is … I am certain whoever wrote this post didn’t find the left’s invective of President Bush justifiable despite the death, dismemberment and/or displacement of thousands and thousands and thousands of people in Iraq. In fact, you were probably defending Bush and his cronies even after it was painfully obvious the invasion and subsequent occupation were a dreadful waste of lives and resources. And why? Because you don’t like Michael Moore, that’s why.
But Rush Limbaugh’s name-calling diatribes are A-OK.
#1: you decline to admit that your boy obama is killing civilians today in His Afghanistan War, which he has no idea on how to win.

The double standard that the left lives under is only legitimate to them. The rest of us live in the real world. Bush defended our country from terrorism, and took the fight to them.
Obama tries the terrorists in American courts; after all, they should have the same rights as any American citizen. He refuses to protect Americans at our own borders, and is incapable of defending us. He believes we are the cause of all the wrong in the world. He gives our jobs to the unions highest bidders. I could go on and on, but I should stop now. I must remember that the left doesn’t operate on facts only on feelings.
This takes me back to where I started. “The left lives by double standards.” Don’t you wonder why we never make any progess?
I don’t think he knows as much about economics as Sen. Judd Gregg, but Rush’s heart is in the right place. I like him whailing on Obama over his socialist philosophy much better than the old days when Rush just mocked him for his name.

SM: I would agree that Judd Gregg knows much more than Rush and Obama combined.
However, Rush’s point is that Obama is stuck on stupid when it comes to the economy. Obama has placed ideology above the American people and jobs. I hardly think that the record number of people enjoy being on food stamps. Obama’s policies are single handedly destroying jobs.
As we lose jobs and more people are unemployed or underemployed, Obama plays the fool and yucks it up as the Presidental seal falls off his lectern. Leadership personified.

and Dave, Bush f* up the Afghan war. Instead of finishing that (with the whole world behind the US) he choose to attack Iraq, alienated almost all the US allies. Plunging that wole regioninto chaos, giving Iran a lot more power.

SM: Who opposed GWB when he was trying to win the Iraq & Afghan war? That would be Barack, the Democrats and the MSM. Remember the words from Obama’s mouth … “the surge would not work”. Remember the words of Harry Reid, “the war is lost”. The MSM could not wait to compare the war ti Vietnam.
Just curious, how come the wars do not get the same coverage when Obama is in office? Hmm? Where is the MSM body count under Obama? Why are they not saying that Obama is killing innocents in villages with predator drone strikes like when W was in office? After all, Obama has had more drone strikes than W.

BTW. how mant attack on the US did we have after 9-11? GWB took office 1/14/01 and the attacks took place on 9/11/01 … under Obama rules of blame … Bush inherited 9/11 from William Clinton.
