Dan Rather’s clueless to the end

Dan Rather is profiled in this piece on MSNBC.

I do not have time to do it justice, but it is a very Ratheresque quotation:

First of all, from where I sit, I am leaving on a high note,” Rather says, “and a higher note than I deserve and certainly a higher note than I ever thought possible when I walked into this job.

It sits right up there with his assertions of being unbiased. Honest. Forthright.

It also calls into question his nose for the truth. But what do I know, I am just an illiterate blogger.

But I do know denial is more than a river in Egypt.
