Florida US House Elections: Democratic US Rep. Alan Grayson Behind in Polls to Republican Daniel Webster by 7%

Yes Virgina, there is a Santa Claus, MSNBC confronts Allan Grayson as his  act wearing thin with Florida voters …

Democrat incumbent Alan Grayson (FL-US 8 District) is behind in the polls to Republican Daniel Webster by 7%. It would appear that the voters in Florida are fed up with the outrageous, inflammatory and obnoxious antics of Alan Grayson. His latest attack political ad, Taliban Dan, was over the top and reprehensible even for Grayson’s standards. However, as many have come to realize, Grayson has no standards.

Hot Air points out the VIDEO of the confrontation between Grayson and MSNBC. You know it is bad for Democrats when you are called on the carpet by MSNBC for his “Taliban Dan” political ad which has backfired … How bad does it get for Grayson … he fires back during the interview at MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer for not discussing woman’s issues. If one did not know better, one would have thought that Grayson was doing a FOX News interview.

MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer confronts Grayson

In one of the most closely watched U.S. House races in the nation, Republican Daniel Webster now holds a 7-point lead over Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson in Central Florida’s 8th Congressional District, according to a new Sunshine State News Poll.

Webster, a former state senator, leads the freshman congressman 43-36 in the survey of 559 likely voters conducted Sept. 25-27. TEA (“Taxed Enough Already”) Party candidate Peg Dunmire drew 6 percent and NPA hopeful George Metcalfe garnered 3 percent, while 9 percent remained undecided (2 percent cited “other” and 1 percent refused to state).

President Barack Hussein Obama Gets “Blame Bush” Winning Strategy from Failed 1988 Presidential Nominee Michael S. Dukakis

Strategery …

It just went from bad to worse to pathetic for Democrats. File this one under you just can’t make this stuff up. Michael S. Dukakis visits the WH to provide a winning strategy for Democrats. What’s the matter, was Walter Mondale busy?

It is back to the future for the Democrats in this years 2010 midterm elections. Former failed 1988 Democrat Presidental nominee  Michael S. Dukakis stopped in at the White House last week to provide the Obama Administration with a winning strategy for 2010. While most people reading this story were trying to determine whether this was one provided by The Onion,  Dukakis’ strategy was new, bold and reflective of his own 1988 landslide loss. Dukakis like every other Democrat running for office wanted not to run on the merits of what Democrats have done, but rather to just blame Bush.

There is no truth to the rumor that Dukakis suggested Obama do a tank photo-op as well, because it worked so well for Michael Dukakis

Former Massachusetts Governor Michael S. Dukakis, the failed 1988 presidential nominee, recently visited the White House and delivered his strategy for the midterm elections: pound key precincts across the country with the message that Republicans want to implement the same policies that led to the Great Recession.

Dukakis, who said in a telephone interview that he “popped in” to the White House while on a trip here several weeks ago, said he told aides to President Obama that Republicans “want to go back and do exactly what got us in this mess in the first place.”

“It seems to me there has to be a single message coming from Democrats, from the president on down,” Dukakis said. “We’ve got to pound that message as hard as can from now until November.”

Hat Tip: Michelle Malkin.com

It would seem that  Dukakis’ strategy is no different than the lame present Democrat one that finds them on the verge of losing the US House, US Senate, Governorships and State legislatures in the 2010 midterm elections.

So this is what it has come to for Democrats? A former Democrat Presidential nominee who lost in an electorial landslide 426 – 111 providing advice for Democrats to win in 2010. Next up at the White House … Walter Mondale.

Wonder Why MSM Hates Fox News … 81% Polled Get Their Midterm Election News from Cable Channels Like Fox News

It is the continued death of the old media, so went the dinosaurs, so goes the old and tired MSM.

It is the MSM’s and LEFT’s worst nightmare … this can’t be good news for the liberal slanted MSM nor the Democrat party, more people are turning to the 24 hour cable news networks for the election news and out of the cable news networks, Fox News is the most watched. The trend is only going to continue away from the old MSM do to a liberal slant and an obvious agenda. This does not bode well for Democrats in 2010, 2012 and thereafter …

More people are getting their news about the upcoming election from cable television than any other source, and from Fox News more than any other cable channel, according to a POLITICO/George Washington University Battleground Poll released Monday.

The poll found that 81 percent of those polled get their news about the midterm elections from cable channels, like Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, or their websites, compared with 71 percent from national network news channels, such as ABC, NBC or CBS, and their websites.

Among cable news channels, Fox was the clear winner, with 42 percent of respondents saying it is their main source, compared with 30 percent who cited CNN and 12 percent who rely on MSNBC.

FOX NEWS wins the cable wars hands down in election news coverage for the American people. Think Obama and Democrats are beginning to sweat?

When you use cable TV news channels to get news about the election, would you say you are mainly getting information from CNN, Fox News, MSNBC or some other cable news channel or website?
Mainly CNN…………………………………………………30%
Mainly Fox News………………………………………….42%
Mainly MSNBC…………………………………………….12%
Other cable news channel/website…………………….9%
UNSURE/REFUSED (DNR)…………………………..7%

Full polling results here. Check out page 9 of the polling data, what a shock, the people have no idea who Ed Schultz, Keith Olbermann or Rachel Maddow are. Maybe because MSNBC has no viewership.

One more bit of data from the poll regarding Barack Obama’s re-election. Only 38% think he deserves reelection.

Now, thinking again about Barack Obama –
20. Do you think President Obama has performed his job as President well enough to deserve re-election, will you consider voting for someone else, or do you think you will vote to replace Barack Obama?
Deserves re-election………………………………………………………38%
Will consider voting for someone else……………………………..13%
Will vote to replace Barack Obama…………………………………44%
UNSURE/REFUSED (DNR)…………………………………………..6%
