With the Obama presidency, if it is not a vacation or round of golf, it is a party at the White House for these folks as Rome US economy burns. Get this, they even blame George W. Bush for this as well. The Obama’s just like to party all the time …
With the economy slowing, few jobs being created, unemployment at 9.6%, record number of people on food stamps and in poverty, home mortgages failing at record rates, housing prices down and record federal debt and deficits, what is Marie Antoinette and King Louie Michelle and Barack Obama doing, having more parties and gala events at the White House of course.
Then again, it’s not like any Democrats running for office in this upcoming 2010 midterm election want the toxic President any where near their election.

It is not so bad that the President & First Lady are honoring college student athletes, the issue is that they feel the need to have a GWB disclaimer for the event. Does any one ever remember Bush making such a reference about Clinton? Did everyone catch the following lines in the announcement below, “first held by former President George W. Bush”?Why would anyone feel the need to add such a statement unless they Obama’s were trying to justify why they were having lavish events in times of economic hard times? Once again, they are blaming W, this time for having student athletes be honored at the WH.
President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama have a packed social schedule this week, with two major galas and a reception for college athletes.
On Monday evening, the president will welcome collegiate star athletes to the White House for a reception at 5:45 p.m. The annual event, first held by former President George W. Bush, recognizes outstanding student athletes in more than a dozen sports, including field-hockey, lacrosse, and volleyball. Neither of Obama’s alma maters, Columbia University and Harvard University, made the grade.
On Wednesday the First Couple will don black tie for the annual Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute gala, one of the more entertaining political galas of the Washington fall season. A number of entertainers are being honored with awards, including Eva Longoria Parker, five-time Grammy winner Arturo Sandoval, and musician Sheila E. Also participating in the festivities will be Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
Hopefully the Obamas get some rest Thursday or Friday, because they will be back in formalwear on Saturday night for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s (CBCF) annual Phoenix Awards dinner. The dinner will mark the culmiantion of the foundation’s 40th Annual Legislative Conference.
Maybe Michelle and Barack would rather prefer the Black Eyed Peas version of “Party all the Time”. In any event, they certainly did not use the precursor of this event was ”first held by former President George W. Bush” when Michelle Obama vacationed in Spain like life styles of the rich and famous now did they.
I would ask our fellow brethren and bloggers in arms at Weasel Zippers, do we really want Obama doing any workl these days and messing us the country even more? PJ Media has Barack reliving his glory days of college.

I was reading the Declaration of Independence last night just out of curiosity and I was quite shocked at what was unravaling before my eyes!
I guess when you hear about history from a young age one could take the efforts of our founding fathers for granted and expect everything to stay the same. Now I look at the world a little different and see how some are always trying to control others in the worst way.
Please read this and study closely the reasons listed for this decleration and ask yourself what is different back then compared to what is being done to us now. You will be shocked. I surmise it will only be a matter of time before we are enslaved again.

Dennisintm you make me cringe, I am working two jobs trying to keep my head above water,and I mean hard work , cleaning houses and running around taking care of old people. I am so angry when I have to listen to how the Obama’s are partying and vacationing and I am trying to feed my child and keep a roof over our heads. They are not even ashamed of themselves. At least the Bush’s had class, something the Obama’s will never be able to buy.
What has his man and his wife done since they entered the White House?
They have had more vacations in 18 months then an average American has had in their lifetime.
Michelle doesn’t go anywhere for a great cause, she goes to be photographed, and to upstage the next woman she meets.
Michelle is in the White House to feed Fashion Magazines and get her mug taken, and people drool over that.
Michelle preaches obesity, did she take a look at the little porkie her daughter has become since eating in The White House?
Michelle’s ass has doubled, and 2 chins since she is in the White House…What has she done for obesity, by showing her and her daughters steady weight climb….Difference is Michelle has fashion and just gets a bigger dress, as she gets huge thunder thighs.
What has she and her husband done besides entertaining, more celebrities….The 2 of them should move to Hollywood and leave the country to be run by Americans who want a better America, not a better Hollywood, or a Fashion White House.
Today, I hear on the radio that he has written a children’s book. It’s supposed to be some ode to his daughters, he’s even using them for gain. Some bonehead publisher put it in print.
It looks like he has made up his mind his presidency is a one term affair, and he’s milking it for all he can get out of it.
I signed a petition today to repeal the health crap he shoved through.
Same deal, hurry up, do stuff, build a legacy. Tearing down too many things.
So glad when his term ends. Still feel sorry for his little girls. They’l be okay, Michelle is tough enough for both of them.

The damage the Obamanation administration has done is far beyond what most want to realize. This was planned in the take down of America. Spend more than all previous presidents (combined I believe) and then watch for the bankruptcy of our financial system. There WILL be rioting in the streets, martial law will need to be in place, it will be BAD.
Glad I am in the country where we all have guns and can defend ourselves…not to mention food because we practice canning from the gardens, grow winter crops, and have livestock which we’d kill to protect…you have my honest word as my husband and I with a couple friends (farmers) discuss regularly as this is so obvious to us. Soon as the food stamp and welfare money run out…the “we deserve government to feed and house us” millions will be the first to try and steal from those “evil” folks who have earned something in life.

There is no way in hell any Male or Female posting here- regardless of their Political party of choice can tell me that Sarah Palin got treated fairly at ALL. Let me tell you this, too—I just read John McCain’s daughters book, had to put it down. While there is much in it that made sense—she was very UNKIND and UNFLATTERING to Ms. Palin. Sarah Palin was treated like a piece of Elephant Dung—I was so not feeling that. At all. She is still not treated the best out there but she carries on, and does her thing and it amazes me still how many people still go bonkers over her (not in a good way).
