MSM Liberal Bias … Obama & Democrats Got 88% of 2008 Contributions from TV Execs, Writers & Reporters

There is no bias in the liberal MSM now is there …
According to a report by the Washington Examiner, Barack Hussein Obama and Democrats got 88 percent of 2008 contributions by TV network execs, writers, reporters. Is it any wonder why the MSM carried the water for Obama during the 2008 elections and literally made it possible for a candidate with no experience to be President, to become President.

Senior executives, on-air personalities, producers, reporters, editors, writers and other self-identifying employees of ABC, CBS and NBC contributed more than $1 million to Democratic candidates and campaign committees in 2008, according to an analysis by The Examiner of data compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics.

The Democratic total of $1,020,816 was given by 1,160 employees of the three major broadcast television networks, with an average contribution of $880.

By contrast, only 193 of the employees contributed to Republican candidates and campaign committees, for a total of $142,863. The average Republican contribution was $744.

Disclosure of the heavily Democratic contributions by influential employees of the three major broadcast networks follows on the heels of controversy last week when it was learned that media baron Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. contributed $1 million to the Republican Governors Association.

One would think that the MSM has one of the biggest conflicts of interest in history. Is it any wonder why they do not cover Obama as they did GWB? If the MSM actually fairly covered the Obama White House and protected We the People, Barack Obama’s approval ratings would be in the ’20′s.

Florida Senate Election 2010:Republican Marco Rubio Up by 10% of So-called Independent Charlie Crist … Rubio (R) 40%, Crist (I) 30%, Meek (D) 21%

Can an Independent candidate out of political convenience be trusted with any thing that say?

Following the Florida primaries, Republican Marco Rubio holds a 10% lead over Independent Charlie Crist and a 19% point lead over Democrat Kendrick Meek. In the first Rasmussen poll following primary day in the Sunshine state the voters stated the following, Rubio (R) 40%, Crist (I) 30%, Meek (D) 21%.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Florida shows Marco Rubio attracting 40% of the vote, while Charlie Crist picks up 30% in the race to become the state’s next U.S. senator. The new Democratic nominee Kendrick Meek earns 21% support.

This is the first poll of the race following Tuesday’s primary. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.

In the last survey before the primary, it was Rubio at 38%, Crist at 33% and Meek 21%.

With a Kendrick Meek winning the Democrat primary, look for Democrat voters in FLA to flock more to him than the so-called Independent and Democrat-light candidate Charlie Crist. Obama and the DNC have been put in a bit of a situation as Crist has hinted that if he wins he would caucus with Democrats, yet how does a political party turn its back on the candidate that the voters chose in the Democrat primary?

Also, look for Marco Rubio to further gain support of Republicans and Independents as Crist is in no-mans land and these days does not even know what he would vote or stand for. This is what occurs when a politician becomes an “independent” out of political survival, rather their conviction.

Just the other day Florida News 13 asked Charlie Crist if he were in the Senate, would he have voted for or against Obamacare? Crist stated he would have voted for Obamacare.

When asked how Crist would have voted on the healthcare bill if in the Senate at the time, Crist responded by saying, “I would have voted for it. But I think it can be done better, I really do.”

Hours later, press releases from Crist’s challengers were sent out, touting Crist flip-flopping on the healthcare issue.

Marco Rubio’s campaign sent a press release saying, “In less than 30 days, Crist has gone from voting against the bill to voting for it to now being against it again.”

Kendrick Meek’s campaign released a similar e-mail, saying, “Obviously, the governor is having a crisis of memory.”

Then in a reversal of fortune,Crist states he misspoke. HOW CAN YOU MISSPEAK ON SUCH A SIMPLE AND OBVIOUS QUESTION? If Crist flip-flops LIED on whether he would only run as a Republican, why would the voters of Florida not think Crist would flip-flop on any issue? Crist is the poster child of exactly what Americans find so distasteful with today’s politicians. They will say anything, then back track on it when the heat is on to get a vote.

But now, Crist says he “misspoke” in that interview. His campaign sent out a statement Friday afternoon clarifying Crist’s position on the healthcare law.

“If I misspoke, I want to be abundantly clear: the health care bill was too big, too expensive, and expanded the role of government far too much,” Crist said in a statement. “Had I been in the United States Senate at the time, I would have voted against the bill because of unacceptable provisions like the cuts to the Medicare Advantage program.”

The campaigns of both Rubio and Meek are having an absolute field day with Crist’s flip-flop.

Crist has been on the Obama bandwagon touting the President for doing a good job. It is hard to believe in a state where 55% disapprove of the job that Obama is doing and only 46% approve, being seen shaking hands, hugging and in the corner of Obama can be a good thing come election day.

UPDATE I: Rasmussen shifts Florida US Senate race from toss up to leans Republican.

Bubba Gump Shrimp Obama … Questions on Iraq, nah … “we are buying shrimp”

Talk about the Obama Presidency in a microcosm …

Obama to reporter, don’t bother me with important, critical world events … can’t you see I am on vacation buying shrimp. It turns out Obama cannot chew gum and walk at the same time.

So much for those working vacations that the MSM likes to say that President Obama does. When asked the other day while he was on his 6th vacation of the year and after his countless number rounds of golf, the press asked “The once Chosen One” a question regarding Iraq and the increase of violence there after he had declared “mission accomplished” and had the majority of US forces leave.

Obama’s response, “We’re buying shrimp guys.”

Were not we told that Barack Obama could “walk and chew gum at the same time?” It would seem that Obama cannot buy Shrimp and answer a reporters question at the same time. “We are buying shrimp” … words of wisdom from out “Golfer” in Chief. Just curious, did the shrimp come from the Gulf Coast?

Wonder if Obama got some shrimin’ tips from Bubba?

Bubba: Anyway, like I was sayin’, shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey’s uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There’s pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that’s about it.

ABC’s Chris Cuomo Incredibly Stupid Comment, “Christians Shouldn’t Condemn Jihad Because of the Crusades”

UNBELIEVABLE … Don’t condemn present day Islamic jihad because of what took place centuries ago … STUCK ON STUPID!

We are yet witness again to the absolute stupidity of the MSM as ABC’s Chris Cuomo defends jihad and criticizes those that would dare find fault with Muslim jihad. Chris Cuomo actually tweeted the following, “Christians Shouldn’t Condemn Jihad Because of the Crusades.”

Some body owes every one a big apology.

Hat Tip: Weasel Zippers

UNREAL, we are not supposed to condemn jihad that goes on in present day society every day because of what took place centuries ago? ARE YOU INSANE?!!! That’s correct folks, according to Cuomo do not condemn cutting the heads off of the infidels and news reporters like Danny Pearl, do not criticize the killing of innocent civilians by suicide bombers and by all mean America … you must not condemn Islamic jihad when they fly planes into buildings on September 11, 2001 and kill nearly 3000 innocent people.

Not only does Cuomo show his complete stupidity and PC run amok in typical MSM fashion, as NewsBusters points out, he also shows his complete ignorance of the facts. However, in typical liberal MSM fashion, why would they let the facts get in the way of liberal bias?

In a tweet Aug. 26, ABC “20/20″ anchor Chris Cuomo told his 987,000 followers not to condemn Muslim violence because other religions have perpetrated violence in the past.

“To all my christian brothers and sisters, especially catholics – before u condemn muslims for violence, remember the crusades….study them,” Cuomo tweeted around 9:30 am.

So does past violence justify modern violence? If so, maybe Cuomo should take his own advice and study the Crusades. Even a brief study would reveal a much more complicated situation than Cuomo’s tweet suggests about who struck first.

Historians, including professor and author Bernard Lewis, have noted that the Crusades were in fact a response to jihad. “The Crusades could more accurately be described as a limited, belated and, in the last analysis, ineffectual response to the jihad – a failed attempt to recover by a Christian holy war what had been lost to a Muslim holy war,” Lewis wrote in the Wall Street Journal shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
